El apartamento está muy bien situado en el mismo de recinto de Piau Engaly.Si eres buen esquiador, hay suficiente nieve y tienes ya el forfait puedes empezar y terminar esquiando en la puerta del guarda esquís de los apartamentos. Pero si tienes q subir a la zona de debutantes son unos 500m cuesta arriba, que con niños siempre se hace más complicado.En cuanto a la limpieza le vendría bien una mano externa para quitar telarañanas y polvo, no solo las q hacemos los inquilinos.Hubo un detalle q no me gustó y es que la calefacción estaba apagada cuando llegamos y tardamos más de 24h en entrar en calor... Esa noche la pasamos francamente mal.. sería genial que la agencia encendiera la calefacción unas horas antes de la llegada del huésped.A pesar de estos pequeños inconvenientes nuestra estancia ha sido muy placentera y la comunicación y simpatía de Alain impecables, siempre atento con nuestras dudas de primera hora.

Piau sous la neige

Appartement à la hauteur de l'annonce, exigu mais pratique et bien achalandé. La literie est très bonne, et même le canapé lit qui a remplacé pour nous les deux petits lits dans le couloir. Malgré l'exposition au nord, on peut sortir sur la terrasse, et aller voir le paysage au soleil, pour autant que la neige n'envahisse pas tout. Propriétaire super arrangeant et sympathique.

Vieillot, manque d entretien et de rangement

Le logement d’une superficie très agréable possède une "chambre parentale" avec 1 lit en 140 mansardée et fermée, un coin nuit avec 2 lits superposés, une pièce de vie avec une kitchenette et une petite salle d'eau. Il est très bien et rapidement chauffé par 3 radiateurs électriques et 1 sèche serviettes dans la salle d eau (qui nous a sauvé la vie pour faire sécher entre autres les combinaisons et gants de ski).Cela convient très bien pour 4 personnes maximum ( je déconseille pour 5 ou 6 personnes)Par contre l'ensemble est dans son jus et très très vétuste. Un des meubles de la kitchenette n’a plus de porte, la hotte ne fonctionne pas, le meuble où est posé le four bouge et risque de tomber, la vaisselle est largement ébréchee,  la plancha de l appareil à raclette est cassée...... Il y a trop peu, voire pas rangement pour les vêtements et les courses alimentaires. Pas de penderie ni de cintres. Les parois de la douche ne ferment toujours pas malgré les nombreuses remarques précédentes et une fuite non identifiée sous le lavabo interdit tout rangement dans l'unique meuble de la salle d'eau. Les oreillers et couvertures méritent d être changés,  ou a minima lavés. Même si cette location est très utilisée on sent un manque d entretien évident, et c'est dommage.Je pense qu un bon rafraîchissement esthétique et fonctionnel, mais surtout et aussi hygiénique s’impose pour rendre le séjour plus agréable..... Enfin si vous avez de jeunes enfants, préférez un logement plus

Superb views

Forget Gavarnie, Piau Engaly is the place to stay in the Pyrenees. About 1,800m up with fantastic views of the valley & lots of really good walking options. There's also the very good Edelweiss restaurant/bar by the apartment. Alain was also really helpful with the booking.

L'essentiel y est !

L'appartement est propre et fonctionnel. Pas de problème de chauffage ou d'eau chaude. Nous avons passé une bonne semaine au pied des pistes. Le propriétaire gère très bien ses locations et à l'écoute. Je recommande.

bon séjour avec nos petits enfants

Il y a des points désagréables à modifier pour les suivants bien que ce soit un logement pour une semaine ... 1° l'arrivée dans un logement glacial au mois de février casse un peu l'ambiance . 2° le manque de rangements possible fait défaut surtout en hiver car il faut beaucoup de vêtements pour les petits. 3° Les installations salle de bain et cuisine mériteraient une révision voire une rénovation. Pour une semaine on s'en accommode mais bon... Si non le séjour à été agréable et nous envisageons de revenir l'an prochain.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, l'appartement était propre mais il manque d'éclairage dans la chambre notamment. Sa situation est acceptable malgré la distance et la pente à gravir pour accéder au cœur du village et aux écoles de ski notamment. Une excellent séjour où la neige et le soleil était au rdv. Merci

Très bon contact téléphonique avec le propriétaire. Aucun problème pour récupérer les clés. L'appartement est parfait pour une famille de quatre personnes, il est également bien situé et le local ski est bien pratique. Le seul bémol, il serait à rafraîchir. Je le conseille nous avons passé un bon séjour.
