Our stay was very nice! We were with 8. Plenty of room in the house. I think 5 bathrooms! A nice pool, beautiful garden and locely weather! Very kind hosts too, respecting yor privacy, and always available for questions and suggestions! We will be back!

Countryside gem

In over a decade of booking vacation homes, this property in Gajan, France, ranks as my absolute favorite: The most beautifully decorated, thoughtfully designed (for travelers of all ages), comfortable, and well-equipped house and property that I have encountered. It is simply exceptional! Ours was a vacation of the extended family, with 3 different generations present (early 20ies through early 80ies) and everyone enjoyed all areas around and within the house. Depending on the time of day we congregated in the shade of the lovely trees in the garden, on the patio, by the pool, or in the spacious dining or living room. We took turns preparing breakfasts and dinners in the house, given that we enjoy cooking for one another and that the kitchen was so exceptionally well equipped that it was a joy to prepare food for our loved ones. An excellent grocery store was within a short drive and an outstanding bakery even closer. All bedrooms were spacious enough for the respective couples. Having a private bathroom attached to each bedroom was an added bonus. Of note, the air conditioning in the bedrooms (on both upper levels) is excellent and highly effective and came in handy as it was unusually hot for mid-June. Because of the thick stone walls, the house always stayed cool during the day (and we closed the windows and shutters as soon as temperatures rose mid-morning.) Last but not least, there were many gorgeous sights to explore in the vicinity Gajan!

C'est une adresse que l'on voudrait garder secrète tellement cette maison est un vrai paradis au milieu des chants de cigales. Les propriétaires sont adorables et très accueillants. Nous étions 3 familles avec des enfants, nous avons adoré nos vacances et espérons revenir un de ces jours. Merci !

Wonderful holiday accommodation

This is a very large property, suitable for at least 10 people comfortably. It’s very well equipped with plenty of games for young and old (table tennis, boules, table football) plus a good sized swimming pool. The kitchen has everything required for home cooking and good outdoor areas for eating. The bedrooms are very comfortable and have their own en-suite (though some don’t have doors!). The location is good for going to the surrounding towns as well as the Camargue and coast. Overall highly recommended

Es gab überhaupt nichts auszusetzen, es hat einfach alles gepasst. das Haus sehr liebevoll und funktional eingerichtet, die Zimmer sehr schön, alles sehr sauber, auch der Garten und der Pool total schön. Es hat Spass gemacht, den Urlaub hier zu verbringen. Cathy und Eric waren unglaublich freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir können alle dieses Haus nur weiterempfehlen

Amazing property !

My husband, baby and I rented this property for 10 days. We welcomed friends and family members who wanted to stay for a few nights during the weekends and week. When we first entered the property we were so excited: the pictures don't really show how amazing the place is ! The house is located in the middle of vines with no houses (except for the owner's) around. It is beautiful and you can walk for miles in the evening without seeing any cars (small hiking trails nearby). The house itself is old and beautiful but so well renovated. It's very modern inside and has lots of charm. The 6 bedrooms are all great and have their own bathroom (except for one) and air conditioning. The owner left us a high chair, packnplay and lots of toys for the kids. The outside is simply amazing: huge yard with pine and olive trees, a great terrasse covered by grape vines (with a table big enough for 15-20 people + a kid table). Great gas barbecue and plancha. We mostly stayed there during the day eating and playing board games. The pool area is fantastic too, great covered terrasse with lots of lounge chairs. We had a very relaxing (those naps with the sound of crickets :-)) and fun time. It was hard to leave the house but we found some time to explore the area (Uzes, Anduze, Arles, Nimes and kayaking under the pont du Gard). Highly recommend this place !!

Traum in der Natur

Wunderschönes Haus in ruhiger Lage. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und ausgesprochen gut betreut. Das Haus und der Garten bieten alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Der nächste Ort für Restaurant und Einkaufen ist Uzes oder Sommier. Wir können das Haus absolut empfehlen.

Le bonheur en famille !

Nous avons pu réunir nos enfants et petits enfants dans cette très belle magnanerie rénovée avec beaucoup d'élégance. Du confort, de l'espace, des équipements de qualité et de belle facture. Cathy est très accueillante, disponible et discrète. Tout le monde a passé d'excellentes vacances dans ce lieu d'exception. Cathy nous a conseillé un excellent traiteur et un pâtissier délicieux. Je recommande fortement et je pense relouer cette belle maison et son jardin immense le plus vite possible !

Superbe Mas pour des vacances en famille

Nous avons passe une superbe semaine dans cette propriété, pour une réunion de famille a laquelle se sont joints quelques amis. La propriété est très attirante sur les photos. Elle est encore mieux dans la chaire. Cette ancienne batisse agricole a été restauree avec goût et dans de beaux materiaux il y a une dizaine d'année. Elle est meublée surtout avec des meubles anciens de belle facture. La cuisine est très bien equipee en matériel de cuisine et vaisselle, et tout se trouve a la bonne place. Les chambres ont toutes une belle salle de bain privée, sauf deux dans le grenier qui s'en partagent une. Les chambres sont toutes équipées d'appareils d'air conditionné individuels qui ont été très appréciés durant la canicule de Juin 2019. Les lits sont de très bonnes qualités, fermes et confortables. Draps et serviettes étaient fournis. La salle de sejour est très spacieuse et maintenue fraîche par l'épaisseur des murs. Beaucoup de livre pour adultes et enfants sont mis à disposition. La salle de séjour a un babyfoot (un vrai de qualité pro, pas une copie en plastique) et une table de ping-pong était instalee dehors. Cerise sur le gâteau, l'extérieur est un régal pour les yeux. Une vigne vierge maintient deux grandes tables a l'ombre pour déjeuner en grand nombre avec vue sur une petite oliveraie ouverte sur une forêt de pins. Une plancha et un barbecue, les deux a gaz, sont a proximité. La piscine (en dur, pas un liner) sur le côté est clôturée pour la sécurité, et entourée d'un grand espace de terrasse, a l'ombre d'un toit ou au soleil. Il s'agit réellement d'un petit coin de paradis. Nous y avons passe la plupart de notre semaine pour en profiter au maximum. Les proprietaires ont étés très acceuillants et ont répondu rapidement a toute demande que nous avons faite. En final, la partie la plus difficile a été de rendre les clefs. Nous y serions très volontiers restes une semaine de plus. Nous y retournerons, pour une durée plus longue.

Prachtig gelegen woning midden de wijnvelden, rustig. Joviale en behulpzame eigenaars maar discreet. Groot zwembad ,dagelijks onderhouden. Antiek ingericht huis, sfeervol. Voorzien van de nodige borden, bestek, BBQ, tepanjaki, ligzetels, enz. Veel ruimte beneden en ruime kamers op eerste en tweede verdiep. Je moet wel trappen aankunnen. Lange buiten eettafel, onder een koel bladerdek, grote schaduwrijke tuin. Voor de kinderen is er ook speelgoed e.d. voorzien. De omgeving leent zich tot meerdere uitstappen. Het enige minpuntje , de wespen in en rond het zwembad maar ze zijn niet agressief. Algemeen positief, aan te raden woning.
