About this property
Couples romantic cabin
Three Rivers Cabins are located at 45155 Sierra Drive Three Rivers, CA. Entering the charming vintage yet fully updated romantic River Oak Cabin, you will be delighted by the warm glow of handsome knotty pine paneling, granite counters and other natural materials used in the renovation and preservation of this 1945 cedar built vintage cabins. Updated, yet with the vintage authenticity preserved, located on an ideal setting, backed up to a slope of wildflowers, boulders and wildlife. You'll hear the river below, and a lot of bird life! You are surrounded by Mountain Peaks, with unforgettable views.
This Cabin ~ The River Oak Cabin, sleeps two in new queen bed, with new bedding. The River Oak Cabin is an ideal romantic cabin for a trip to the Park. Features Smart TV, Wifi, kitchen, and walk in shower. Private sitting area with fire pit and bbq. If you want to eat out, there are popular restaurants within a mile, and the best bbq across the street! You may also eat out on your deck with your complete kitchen and outdoor bbq at your service. You have private screened areas with your own outdoor fire pit. This cabin is attached to the Twin Oaks cabin, both romantic cabins each with private outdoor fire pits, bbqs, and private outdoor seating. The River Oak is reserved for just two occupants.
Just a short walk up and across the road, you will enjoy the convenience of the Totem Market and Deli. Best BBQ tri tip, chicken and chili beans. Be sure to visit the Redwood wine tasting room and Craft Beer bar, located inside of the Totem, no Uber required. The walls are paneled from clear heart redwood from 1940's wine vats.
The staff at the Totem is friendly and willing to assist with anything you require. We serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
The River Oak cabin, is one of four cabins on the Three Rivers Cabins property of one acre, within two minutes driving distance to the Park.
This cabin is cozy and romantic with a complete kitchenette, beautifully appointed with everything you will need to prepare meals.
The kitchens include refrigerators and are equipped with toasters, microwaves, complete dish sets, pots, pans and utensils. The cabins are pleasing, inviting relaxation in a woodsy environment. You will enjoy the first class photographic art of National Park scenes by Phil Simons.
Savor beverages and views from your deck with sweeping nature views. Bear, deer, and other wildlife sightings are a common experience in this location so close to the Park Entrance.
Attention and detail has been given to the River Oak cabin to insure a quality, comfortable and a convenient 'cabin experience' while visiting the National Parks.
See the other cabins by checking on vrbo. com. Our listing numbers are #563377 for the Kaweah River Cabin, sleeping up to 10, #602909, the Live Oak, perfect for parents with two children, and the Twin Oaks Cabin, which is attached to the River Oak Cabin, a romantic cabin reserved for just two.

About the host
Hosted by Shea Lockhart
Family and friends, natives to California and The Sequoia National Park area. We love our area and enjoy providing accommodations that have the best locations, and amenities offered to travelers, coming to visit the Sequoia and Kings Canyons National Parks, and the Mineral King Alpine valley. Just 1 and 1/2 miles from the Sequoia National Park Gate!
Why they chose this property
It's all about the location. The views are spectacular, and convenient, yet back up to wilderness of wildflowers fields with beautiful boulder garden designs and River below. You are literally surrounded by nature, but a short walk to groceries, bbq, deli, gift shop with a new redwood paneled wine tasting room. The cabins are great accommodations for visits to both the Sequoia National and Kings Canyon National Parks.
What makes this property unique
A great Cabin experience with knotty pine paneling, with all of the amenities of home. You will not be roughing it here; more of a retreat feel.
