Comfortable and clean

Enjoyed our stay in this private and comfortable gite with a really nice outside space to relax. We did some considerable travelling and it was a good central base in a nice village with a decent restaurant and shops. Hosts were lovely. Thank you both.

The rural cottage

The cottage was lovely with plenty of parking for a small camper van though we were a little concerned about access through narrow streets. Any larger motor home would have great difficulty turning round. This maybe needs to be reflected in the description and was our only concern. Josiane and Sandrina were very helpful and welcoming.

Gite calme et très bien situé pour visiter le Marais Poitevin tout en étant aussi assez proche de la mer. Le gite est bien équipé, propre et bien clôturé permettant de laisser son chien à l'extérieur en toute confiance. Les propriétaires sont agréables et nous les remercions pour la petite attention (gâteau et jus de fruit) lors de notre arrivée. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans la région. Attention l'électricité n'est pas comprise dans la location (la propriétaire nous a prévenu) même à l'inter saison ce qui correspond à une dépense de 25 Euros pour la dernière semaine de septembre (automne) en chauffant le salon et la cuisine de 19 à 20 degré et la salle de bain de 20 à 22 degré et sans chauffage dans les chambres. Il faut donc prévoir cette dépense supplémentaire surtout pour ceux qui loue en période plus froide. Les ouvertures de la maison sont situés au Nord et à l'Est avec peu de soleil dans le gite ce qui est un avantage en été et un inconvénient lorsqu'il fait plus froid.Le matelas de la chambre possédant un lit en 140 est un matelas à l'accueil ferme et confort ferme ce qui peut être gênant pour ceux qui ont des douleurs d'épaule ou de hanche ou autre.., il vaux mieux en conséquence prévoir l'apport d'un sur-matelas afin de rendre l'accueil du couchage un peu plus moelleux.Hors mis les 2 points précédent nous conseillons ce gite à tous ceux qui veulent visiter cette région dans un gite calme et confortable.

A FAIRE ABSOLUMENT

Le Marais Poitevin mérite le détour, c'est un endroit merveilleux pour qui aime la vraie nature, le calme et la volupté sont au rendez-vous, les promenades en barque sont source de recueillement et de bien être. De plus pas loin de l'océan avec l'Ile de Ré très abordable au mois de mai.

Tout était parfait !!!! La maison est très bien situé . Près du marais avec ballades en vélo ou en barque à proximité . La maison est grande, d'une propreté irréprochable et rien ne manque . Belle semaine dans le Marais Poitevin

Nous avons passé une super semaine à Saint Hilaire La Palud. La maison est tres bien agencée. Tout y est bien pensé, il ne manque rien et la literie ewt excellente. Il y a les commerces essentiels dans le village qui se trouve qui est au carrefour de belles villes a visiter comme La Rochelle, Saintes, Niort,.... Josiane et Jean Claude ainsi que Sandrine sont adorables et a l’ecoute. Nous reviendrons.

Séjour famille et vélo

Semaine sympa et reposante pour découvrir le marais et la nature environnante à vélo. Maison très propre et accueillante attention toutefois à l'accès aux chambres et toilettes à l'étage bas de plafond. L'extérieur est très agréable également et tout bien équipé. Nous avons passé un bon séjour!

location agréable et région près de la nature

Malgré un peu de pluie le séjour au coeur du marais Poitevin ne déçut personne. Le paysage et la faune étaient là pour passer quelques jours d'évasion..
