"The casale degli aranci" is a typical Sicilian villa,indipendent, on the
slopes of Etna surrounded by evergreen citrus fruit trees. It has two wide terraces and you can see the jonic coast from Taormina to the touristic port of Riposto and the spectacular charm of the mount Etna. There are two bedrooms the kitchen and a big bathroom. All rooms are equipped with all necessary things:air conditioner in the bedroom, indipendent central heating, television whit satellite-antenna,washing-machine, cooker, fridge,hairdrier, linen,etc., and privat parking lot. The lodging is in an ideal geographical context to relax.It's easy to reach the beach (4Km) and the most important touristic centers in the zone as Taormina,the Throats of the river Alcantara,Acireale,Acitrezza,Etna,Catania,Syracuse,Piazza Armerina,Messina and the Eolie islands.The airport of Catania is about 30 Km far from the villa but it's easy to reach it taking the highway road Catania-Messina.

The property is in the middle of a citrus grove. Spectacular views of MtEtna and Sea. The coastal town of Riposto has some good restaurants pizzerias and a lively fish market. Mario and Angela were magnificent hosts. Loved the house and location.

Amazing place

We spent 7 days in this place and it was the best choice we made. Very large and spacious villa, fully equipped. We were very warmly welcomed by Mario and Angela. Wonderful and warm people who did everything to make our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this place.

This is an excellent property that is perfect for side trips up and down the coast from Taormina to Catania, Syracuse, Noto and beautiful beaches. The area is quiet and the views are spectacular. The hosts Mario and Angela are lovely and did all they could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Mario and Angela are great hosts. They made us feel so comfortable. There are lemons, tangerines and oranges all over the property to eat! Kitchen is well equipped. Beds are big and comfortable. We would book again if in Sicily.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house. Mario and Angela are lovely! It’s nice and quiet, the roof terrace is ideal for stargazing at night and play during the day. The flowers, the citrustrees, everything is perfect! The house is close to a small bakery, so you can get fresh bread every morning, the other shopping has to be done by car. For us, this was the perfect place to be.

Amazing 360 degree view.

This would have been 5 stars all round except for the many dogs barking, thankfully not through the night and unfortunately we were bitten many times by mosquitoes. The views of Mount Etna were breath taking plus we had the added bonus of watching it erupt for hours late into the night from the comfort of the terrace. The villa is brilliant with private secure parking. Mario and Angela are excellent hosts. We would definitely recommend their villa for a holiday.

Perfect Getaway with everything we needed

You have everything you need here. Complete detached, mature villa. Surrounded by orange and lemon groves. With a roof terrace and another terrace below, you have ample space. A fully equipped kitchen, very comfy bed, all in all a home from home. Angela and Mario are perfect hosts and thank you for the homemade marmalade. Holiday in Scicilly

The house is located in a beautiful setting and was very clean with everything we needed. It consists of two good sized bedrooms; kitchen and bathroom, the kitchen being in the centre of the property. There is no lounge but the kitchen does have a couch. The patio area outside (where we spent all our time when not sight seeing) is a substantial size and we were able to view the sea in one direction and Mt Etna in the other. It was very hot the whole week. The property is set among lemon and orange groves and was prone to mosquitoes. There is a machine at the property to repel them. Fairly reliable wi fi. There were four of us (two adult children) my son decided to come after I had booked so he slept on a camp bed in the kitchen which Mario and Angela very kindly made up. They were so helpful and even took my daughter and myself to the supermarket to stock up whilst my husband made a turnaround trip to pick up our son from the airport. The property is further out than I expected; and although it is only 4 km from the sea it actually took a while to get there due to the winding roads. I would recommend this property and the owners who were extremely obliging but without being intrusive. Thank you Mario and Angela

Die Aussicht war ok und hätte nicht den ganzen Tag ein Hahn gekräht und abends ein Hund gekläfft wäre es auf der Terrasse sehr angenehm gewesen, war aber gerade noch erträglich. Was mich aber sehr gestört hat, waren die Eidechsen und irgendwelche ekligen Würmer im ganzen Haus und auf der Terrasse. Allerdings war der Strand nicht 6 Minuten sondern eher 15 bis 20 Minuten entfernt und die Straße ist in einem sehr schlechten Zustand.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour en famille (2 adultes et 3 enfants) dans ce charmant petit gîte en Sicile. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis. La maison était spacieuse, propre et parfaitement équipée pour notre famille.Le vrai bijou de ce lieu est sans aucun doute le jardin. Il est magnifique, avec des fleurs et des citronniers et une vue sur la mer. Soggiorno oltre ogni aspettativa. Gli Host sono davvero gentilissimi e disponibilissimi. Ci hanno accolto con i nostri due cagnoloni con grande empatia. La villetta è un vero gioiellino, curata in ogni dettaglio, pulitissima, ordinata e completa di tutto. Ci siamo sentiti davvero come a casa nostra. L’alloggio gode di un panorama mozzafiato a 360 gradi, offrendo una meravigliosa vista sul mare e sulla Calabria ed una altrettanto affascinante vista sull’Etna, in tutta la sua imponenza. L’agrumeto che circonda la casa, poi, è il valore aggiunto, offrendo agrumi a volontà. Ne abbiamo goduto soprattutto durante le nostre colazioni in veranda, baciati da un sole meraviglioso. In posizione strategica, a pochi minuti da negozi e supermercati. Si raggiungono poi agevolmente tutte le più note località della Sicilia Orientale. Ein herrlicher Panorama-Ausblick!

Das in einem kleinen Zitrushain gelegene Ferienhaus entsprach nicht nur exakt der Beschreibung, sondern war auch perfekt ausgestattet - das ist unserer Erfahrung nach nicht selbstverständlich. Ein üppig befüllter Korb als Willkommensgruß stand auf dem Esstisch bereit (Die selbstgemachte Marmelade ist absolut empfehlenswert!!). Das Gastgeberehepaar Angela und Mario sind unglaublich zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und jederzeit zuverlässig erreichbar. Und schlußendlich der morgendliche (nachmittägliche und abendliche) Panoramablick von der großzügigen Terrasse auf das Meer in seiner ganzen Weite und den friedlich vor sich hin dampfenden Ätna im Rücken sind herrlich.Weiterhin warten Taormina, Catania, Siracusa (und - wer möchte - auch die Liparischen Inseln) darauf, entdeckt zu werden ...Chris & Zora

“Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno fantastico! L’appartamento era pulito, ben arredato e dotato di ogni comfort necessario per sentirsi come a casa. A pochi chilometri dal meraviglioso circolo di golf Il Picciolo, la posizione è perfetta per esplorare la zona e godersi una pausa rilassante. Unico neo, il Wi-Fi non era molto veloce, ma è stata solo una piccola pecca in un’esperienza altrimenti perfetta. Accoglienza stupenda dal proprietario. Accueil super

Mario et Angela sont adorables. Un super accueil avec un petit panier composé de produits typiques et une confiture d'oranges maison pour le petit déjeuner, un régal .Le cadre est calme au milieu des orangers, citronniers et mandarinier avec vue sur l'Etna pour régaler de son spectacle explosif le soir venu.
