Cool place, a hunters delight. Warm, dry, plenty of room and comfy beds. Great commutation with host. A few things need fixing but no big deal. Had I know I would have fixed them while there!
While the house has charm, and the potential for being a great place to stay, it was too dirty to be able to enjoy it. We shortened our stay because it was uncomfortable staying there. Dirty appliances and kitchen, bathroom tub not draining correctly. The list could go on. I hope that some time is spent cleaning up the entire house.

Lily isn’t a place for little girls and easy bake ovens. My new cleaning lady is way better than the old one. This is the Mecca of the outdoors in SD
This property was definitely the worst VRBO I’ve stayed in because of the filth and due to the owner’s personal effects left out ie. toothbrush, mouthwash and deodorant.
We found mouse droppings in the toaster, under the sink and in all the cupboards.
Because we were pleased with the location we stayed, making sure all our food was stored away from rodents and we washed everything before using.
It’s too bad because it could be a good place if it was deep cleaned and the personal belongings of the owner were put away before guests arrive.
I did reach out to the owner who quickly blamed the conditions on his ‘cleaning lady’. Interesting fact; he stayed at the house right up until our arrival and could have taken care of what the cleaner missed.
I cannot recommend this place.
We found the lodging to be perfect for a small group of hunters. Everything we needed to cook meals, etc was available. The house was clean when we got there and the garage was a perfect place to store some of our extra gear.
Awesome out-of-the-way cabin. I fished and explored most of the state. It was a very quiet time that was very much needed.

Had everything I wanted
I and relatives thought it was great. Not five stars cause I think if you bring your wife it could be a little cleaner. Shower curtain could used replaced. But for guys, perfectly fine. I enjoyed it. Thank you!
