About this property

Spacious luxury house with splendid view to Pyrenees, on "domaine" of 40 ha

Rates given for 8 - 10 people. Up to 20 people possible by adding one or more of the other houses - please ask for a quote (between 400 - 900 Euro per house extra, according to season).

Ideal for those who look for peace and seclusion on holiday: renovated farmhouse with 3 cottages (150 - 240 sqm) of which "Maison Syrah" is the biggest, ideal for families and groups. Surrounded by 40 ha of fields and forests and with view to Pyrenees. Well-equipped kitchen, large living room and each bedroom with bathroom en suite. Terrace with garden furniture.
Very quiet but yet close to village with all amenities.
You can make magnificent walks here and enjoy the unspoilt nature or explore the surroundings on a mountain-bike (bike hire on request). You can fresh up in the pool (round, 6m diam.) or go to the nearby Lake Montbel or Lake the Puivert, where you can surf, sail or hire a pedalo. In Chalabre, only a 10 minutes drive away, you will find shops, a supermarket, a bank and restaurants.
Supermarket also in lovely medieval Mirepoix, just 20 minutes away, or in Limoux with its cosy market place (restaurants, café's and shops)


At the end of the rental period the tenant should yield up the premises to the landlord in a flawless and clean condition, according to a checklist that will be handed out on arrival. However, a cleaning service is at his disposal (90 €/house)
Electricity will be charged according to meter readings (0,25 €/kWh)

Très bon séjour

Une adresse à recommander. La maison est très spacieuse et très bien équipée. L’endroit est au calme en pleine nature, vraiment très agréable. Pas très loin pour faire quelques achats de nécessité et notre hôte est une charmante dame très agréable. Nous avons beaucoup aimé cette adresse.

Superbe! Un écrin de nature

Superbe séjour entre amis. Le gîte sera un régal pour ceux qui aiment la nature. Vue magnifique. Super équipement. Chambres spacieuses avec SDB. Seul bémol est la distance aux 1ères commodités, 15 à 25 min pr supermarchés et environs 25 minutes pr les 1ères attractivités comme le lac de Montbel Je recommande vivement !

Pasamos una Semana Santa Perfecta. La casa es muy cómoda. Estuvimos en la más grande que tiene una zona común amplísima y espectacular. Las habitaciones son más sencillas pero correctas y las camas muy cómodas. Los alrededores son grandiosos. Reina el silencio y la paz. Si podemos, volveremos.

Belle Maison, très spacieuse

C'est une très belle maison, isolée en pleine campagne, très spacieuse. J'y passerais volontiers plus de temps pour mieux découvrir la région. Un très bon accueil. Un petit bémol, même si ce n'était pas d'actualité mi-avril, une piscine qui n'est pas en accord avec la qualité exceptionnelle de la bâtisse. Une vraie piscine transformerait la propriété en demeure de rêve. Merci.

"Trés belle maison dans un endroit trés calme. Cependant,vaisselle et batterie de cuisine un peu limiter pour faire soi même sa cuisine. Trés grand avantage si vous aimez faire du cheval. Avec Manuel, ces chevaux sont sur place et vous pouvez vraiment faire des ballades à la carte."

"Es una casa preciosa rodeada por un frondoso bosque. La casa está equipada al 100%. Está situada a una distancia ideal en automóvil para visitar los castillos cátaros. El trato con las personas de la propiedad es perfecto. Sin duda, recomiendo esta casa. It''s a beautiful house in the middle of a lush forest. The house is equipped 100%. "L''endroit ou se trouve la maison et les villages environnants sont magnifiques. Ne manquez pas Mirepoix et ses superbes boutiques, ses marches ainsi que le chateau de Foix et la merveilleuse Carcassonne. Nous avons adore notre sejour, la maison est tres bien equipee, tres calme et nous y etions tous tres comfortables (a 7 adultes et 3 enfants). Merci a Nicole et son fils pour leur accueil et pour avoir pris tres bien soin de nous. C''est un petit coin de paradis et c''est tres genereux de le partager. J''espere que nous pourrons revenir tres bientot. A tous ceux qui consultent cette annonce, ne manquez pas de passer vos vacances a Chalabre."
