We have the best location at Papakea! Our fourth (top) floor, corner unit is the perfect accommodation for families or couples looking for a relaxing, peaceful setting with stunning sunset and ocean views. The soothing ocean waves and warm tropical breezes add to your Maui experience. The vaulted and exposed beam ceilings give an extra spacious feel to our home away from home!

Our updated condo sleeps six: the main bedroom has a comfy king-size bed; there is a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room, and the airy loft has a queen-size bed. There are two full bathrooms: one on the main floor and another in the loft. Our fully equipped kitchen offers granite counters, dishwasher, a full-size oven, and a microwave. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit for guests' use. **AC upgrade completed in July 2023!**

Stroll through Papakea's lushly landscaped 13 acres and you will find two swimming pools, two Jacuzzi hot tubs, putting greens, tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, and koi ponds. Fabulous golf courses are just minutes away. During winter months, the whales can be seen from our lanai breaching and slapping their fins on the water.

Perfection
Unfortunately, my family and I were only on Maui for 3 nights. We all agreed we wish we had more time in this incredible condo. The views couldn't be beat. Too many whales to count right outside and several sea turtles 30 feet from the retaining wall. The check in / out process was very easy, and the owners were quick to answer any questions. We will definitely return.

Ocean Front Relaxation
Our stay in Papakea condo A407 was perfect. We had previously stayed in another Papakea condo off of the the ocean, which was also very nice, but the location of A407 on the ocean was amazing. The views from the corner lanai were breathtaking. You could see the sunset during the evening, and also the sunrise over the mountains in the morning. The big picture window in the living area overlooked the island. The kitchen was very nice and had everything we needed to make our meals. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed sleeping in the open loft, which had its own bathroom, and listening to the ocean waves every night. We had a very relaxing stay and will definitely come back to A407 someday.

Beautiful corner ocean front unit with loft second bedroom and bath. Well equipped with everything we needed. Papakea conveniently located to sites, shopping and dining nearby. Sitting out on the lanai gave us perfect views of rainbows and whales, a real treat. Thanks for the welcome floral arrangement that lasted all week. Your binder of pertinent information was very helpful. A great experience in total!

Fantastic Ocean View
The condo has a fantastic view of the Pacific ocean and we enjoyed watching the whales and waves on this our 2nd stay. The beds are comfortable and the unit had everything we needed. We plan to return next year.

Welcome to Papakea!
We traveled with family to Maui for Christmas, 4 of us stayed in this unit. Upon arrival at the main office we were greeted with an arrangement of beautiful Hawaiian flowers from the property owners Reno and Janelle. What an amazing way to greet your guests! Our time spent in Maui was filled with lots of family fun and adventure. Thank you Maui for the memories!

Reno and Jenelle met in Northern California on a blind date and have been together ever since. We lived in Georgia and Texas for a few years, but returned to our California home and raised our family there.

Why they chose this property

One of our long term goals was to own a vacation property. When the time was right, our connection to Hawaii made that the place to search. We looked on the big island of Hawaii, then on Maui. We started with Kihei (south Maui) but then refocused or search on West Maui. We were getting close! We looked at several properties and just happened to find Papakea. As soon as we walked on the property, we felt it was the place for us. The ocean front location, lush landscaping and tidy buildings provided the feel we were looking for without the hustle and bustle of huge resort. Our search was over!
