This property was fantastic. Honestly way better than the pictures even make it out to be. Plenty of room inside and a fabulous backyard with great water access.

Very nice house. Clean. Modern kitchen. Water views. Plenty of room/beds for a large family. Cons: Geese have taken over the back yard rendering it practically unusable as their poop is everywhere. Construction on the house next door is noisy. The early checkout time (10 am) is inconvenient and was non-negotiable.
We had a great stay here. There was plenty of room so you didn't feel on top of each other. The living and kitchen space were both spacious as well. The deck, backyard and water view were definitely a highlight. It was in a great location, quiet street and near everything we needed access to... beach, wedding venue, Ferry to MV and convenience store. We all said we would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone going to the cape.
Wry cute house with great sleeping but NOT overly close to town or any real beach. There is an ant problem out side, to me the deck is on its last legs and they have not even provided a working basic cable TV. House is as pictured but they should not show a canoe when they will not allow you to use any of the equipment they have there. Contact was responsive and then would not follow back up. Our check in was at 3 and the cleaning people got there at 2:45 so we could not get in until after 3:30 and sheets and towels were not done so we had to fold and make beds. We made the most of the quiet evenings looking over the lake but would be hard pressed to think about going back
Our family really enjoyed our vacation stay at this very nice home in Falmouth. The area is enjoyably peaceful and it had a nice view of the water in the backyard, enjoyed the firepit every night and the fishing. The place was very clean and a lot nicer than the pictures online depicted. All destinations were within a short drive of the house. In addition, the area has a lot of activities to participate in. We would gladly return here for another vacation.
The setting was so peaceful. Quiet neighborhood. Loved watching wildlife while on the deck. Arrived to a well stocked and clean home with plenty of room for all. There were more beds than advertised. Host was easy to reach and accommodated our pre arrival requests. A little deferred maintenance, howevever overall a great stay. I would stay again.

Nice waterfront home in a quiet neighborhood
We have been renting houses for vacations for years and decided to spend this year's vacation on Cape Cod. We had 3 adults and 3 teens/pre-teens and brought our own bikes and kayaks. The house worked out very nicely for us. The rooms are larger than we expected and there are lots of bed options. The living areas and kitchen are nicely furnished and stocked with the accessories I had expected.
Bournes Pond ended up being a shallow salt water pond which connects to the ocean at the nearby beach. With the kayaks we were easily able to paddle the length of the pond, paddle under the bridge at the beach, and get out to open ocean. The pond is beautiful with lots of wildlife to watch. The bottom of the pond is murky so I was happy that I had brought along swim shoes when putting the boats in and out of the water.
My kids had fun fishing from both the shore and our boats, catching small crabs in a nearby inlet, and catching dozens of minnows using a minnow trap we had brought.
There is lots to do nearby. The house is in a very quiet cul-de-sac but it is quite close to both the beach and Rt 28, which is a main road on The Cape. We went to the beach several times, got ice cream, visited Falmouth Center, went to the museums at Woods Hole, and took the bikes on the bike trail from Falmouth Center out to Woods Hole.
Overall the house and location were great for our Cape Cod adventure.
Note that we figured out at the last minute (by reading a review) that we needed to bring our own linens. I had expected linens to be included with this house. If renters are expected to bring linens this needs to be made clear in the listing. Traveling to The Cape and then not having sheets would have been disappointing.

Restful and relaxing vacation amongst nature in your own backyard!
Wonderfully serene and a rejuvenating place to spend a vacation!
We put in our Kayaks in the backyard, enjoyed the large deck overlooking the water, the firepit and so much more. The house was clean and conveniently laid out with everything we could have needed.
The property owner answered any questions I had promptly.
The only negatives were the grill was not working properly which I made the owner aware of. Sheets and towels are not included which is unusual for a rental property of this type.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we would love to return again. We enjoyed the Falmouth area as well. The house was so convenient to many stores, restaurants, beaches and a bike trail we enjoyed.
The kitchen was quite large and convenient with two sink areas for entertaining. There were many DVD’s for use as well.
Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Relaxing!!!
Mina's home has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing get away while being close to many beaches. The house was spacious enough to accommodate our group of 6 adults and 2 children. The kitchen had everything that was needed and the outside deck overlooking the pond was wonderful & peaceful!!! Watching the bird sanctuary across the way was great! We brought our own kayak which was great to take a nice ride all around to enjoy the lovely scenery...thanks again for letting us enjoy your lovely home! Lynda Long

Great house and location!
My friends and I stayed at the house to celebrate our 40th birthdays. There were 5 of us. The house was perfect! It was very clean with really nice amenities. The kitchen had every convenience. There is no central air, but window units in all the bedrooms kept the house really cool. The deck is AWESOME! We would sit out there and talk and watch the geese go by - at one point there was a line of about 22 geese. The location is wonderful, a quick drive to the beach down the street, a quick drive to the center of town for great dinners. We went shopping at the Mashpee Commons one day - really cute stores. It was a nice relaxing weekend and we are already trying to decide if we will stay at the same house next year or do something else:)

Views are fantastic
We have been renting houses every summer on the Cape for the last several years and we think we finally found our keeper. The house is great for families, on a dead-end road and with an amazing backyard that goes right down to the water. While the water isn't exactly great to play in, it's perfect for launching kayaks, canoes, etc. Not to mention the sunsets! Beautiful. While the house is a little worse for wear here and there, it suited our needs just perfectly and its location so near the beach was nearly ideal. I was worried the lack of cable TV would be an issue but with the WiFi, it wasn't a big deal. The only thing we missed was easy access to Red Sox games. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the house.

great house!
We had a wonderful week at this house. Sitting in chairs down by the water or up on the deck was such a peaceful and relaxing view. The house is well equipped with everything you need including a well stocked kitchen. Bedrooms are comfortable and there's lots of room to spread out. We spent the week with a toddler exploring the beaches and then coming "home" to grill and eat out on the deck. We loved it. The only thing that would make it a perfect 5 stars would be having some sort of dock to swim off of right at the house rather than having to drive to a beach, but we bought a week beach pass to go in and out as much as we wanted without paying repeatedly, so it was all good!

Very pleasant stay
Stayed at this house, and found it very nice. Really enjoyed the abundance of wildlife that was around there. Everyday we would watch the ducks swim around, the geese feed, and the nesting osprey. It was quiet and on a dead end street so there was not a lot of traffic going by. The home was very comfortable. The furnishings were fine with nice beds to sleep in, and a big comfy couch in the living room to look out at the water in the back. Overall very pleasant experience.
