Amazing, Clean Place!

We had a great trip to Rehoboth, thanks to Michael's house! The house had everything you could need to cook with, lots of seating options, a spacious back porch, and perfectly sized bedrooms. Our family loved the close proximity the property was to the beach, and the fact that it was on a quieter street, but an easy walk to downtown. Friendly host and beautifully decorated home. We would definitely recommend this booking to any family looking for a place to stay in Rehoboth Beach, DE.

Perfect House and Location

This house was perfect for my family of 7. There was plenty of room for everyone, the house was well furnished, and the kicker was the huge porch on the back where we spent most of our time. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more (the ice machine was great for the beach). On top of all that the location was perfect! Nice and quiet but not far at all from all the life of the town. Thank you Michael and Andres for having us!

Amazing beach cottage in prime location!

We had a wonderful week in this lovely cottage. The house was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and well appointed with anything you could want or need. The large screened porch is fabulous for reading, relaxing, and dining. We parked our car for the week as restaurants and the beach are within easy walking distance. Michael and Andres did a great job. We will be back and highly recommend this property!

Exactly what you want in a beach stay!

We had the perfect stay at this property. We were there for an extended time and it had all the comforts of home. The property manager is quick to respond and super helpful. We would gladly rent 7 Cookman again.

We loved the charm of the house. The location was great for the beach, restaurants and shops.

The moment we walked into 7 Cookman we absolutely loved the house. Tastefully decorated and beach cozy at the same time. Our hosts provided plenty of amenities to make our stay enjoyable. Cooking meals was a pleasure with a very well organized kitchen. Once our meals were prepared we enjoyed dining out in the bright and airy screened in porch. We loved the quietness and charm of the Pines. The location was convienent to the beach and also downtown Rehobeth. We give 7 Cookman 5 stars and would recommend this home to all our friends! We look forward to visiting again! Linda & Don Engwall

Amazing Home

Our family of four enjoyed our second summer at this wonderful home on Cookman, and it again exceeded our expectations! The house feels like a spa when you enter to the amazing art and furniture, soothing music, and absolutely clean and well-organized set-up. Michael also is incredibly responsive, and it is clear that he cares about making our time at the beach special. The screened porch and outdoor shower are perfect, and the rooms are spacious. As for the location, it can't be beat in terms of walking to the shops, restaurants, Deauville beach, and we also took easy bike rides through Henlopen Acres and to Gordon's Pond. And, if you want to drive to the beach or the south side, the two parking passes make it easy. This really is a perfect home in Rehoboth -- just don't take our weeks for next summer! :)

7 Cookman is the best!

Second time staying at 7 Cookman! Our trip began with a warm welcome note & gift from Michael & Andres! 7 Cookman is immaculate and has a lot of charm! Bath towels & beach towels provided is always a nice perk! Very convenient- walking distance to town. The Beaches in 'The Pines' are less crowded as well. Perfect for us!

Amazing Stay!

We stayed for four weeks this past summer, and it truly was an awesome experience. The house itself is perfect, with plenty of room, a private master bedroom on the first floor, wonderful décor, and a great screened in porch. Everything was incredibly clean and felt like a 5-star hotel when we arrived. The location also can't be beat; you are on a quiet and peaceful street in the Pines but are only a short walk away from all that Rehoboth Ave has to offer as well as the restaurants on Baltimore Ave. The beach also is within walking distance (our choice is always Deauville), or you can drive there in 2 minutes and park right at the beach entrance with the parking passes that are provided. Finally, the owners, Michael and Andres, were amazing -- totally responsive to anything we needed and very clearly invested in wanting to make sure we had a great vacation. The experience really was amazing, and we are coming back in 2018!

Comfortable Cottage in the Pines

This is our second stay in this quiet and relaxing cottage. We were five adults and one child, and we had plenty of room. Once again, we spent most of our time on the screened porch. It is perfect for early morning coffee, afternoon naps, family meals, and late night card games and cocktails. It is an easy walk to the beach and the downtown with its shopping and excellent selection of restaurants.

4 years of enjoying 7 Cookman!

The last 4 consecutive summers my family has thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 7 Cookman. Michael offers unlimited hospitality and support. The little things they provide really make a difference. For example, the welcome note and gifts, the industrial ice machine that works tirelessly, the cozy furnishings that welcome you "home", and the well-appointed kitchen. The heart of the home is the screen in porch where we tend to gather for all of our meals, card games, fierce backgammon competition and of course reading. One thing should be mentioned is the location is excellent. We can walk to the beach (driving is an option also if you have tons of gear, parking is usually very ample at Oak). A short walk to great restaurants and shopping, and of course the boardwalk. Thank you Micahel for sharing your home!

Lovely home perfect for relaxing and cooking

We shared the house with our two 20-something children and their significant others and had a fabulous time. The house is very well appointed and perfect for a beach house--just the right amount of furniture and decor to make you feel at home, but without the clutter. All of us found it incredibly relaxing and peaceful. It is surrounded by pine trees, away from the noise, and the house set-up has enough space to hide out and read or to socialize. The pantry was quite nice to discover with a bar area and all types of serving dishes. Each couple had a night to cook and everyone enjoyed being in the kitchen, which was very well equipped and organized. We had meals on the large round table in the dining area right off the kitchen as well as on the very pretty porch--also right off the kitchen. Michael was extremely responsive when we had a question and there were absolutely no issues. The walk to the beach (very North Rehoboth) was a bit longer than expected, but we enjoyed it given the nice neighborhood and the short-cut option through the small pine forest. The beach there is less crowded than other sections, which was also welcome. There are also quite a few new restaurants near the house on the main street and Starbucks is just a few blocks away. All of us left the house feeling like we really had a vacation--relaxed, peaceful, and with the time and the space, to catch up with each other. Would love to return!!!

Close to everything but just far enough away

We stayed for a week in August and at the end were insanely jealous of the folks who were checking in later that day. The house has just the right combination of aesthetics and warmth. We hosted several friends who came and went during the week and we all favored the porch as the place to enjoy coffee and cocktails. The hosts left us fully prepared for a week of Rehoboth fun and were available when we needed it (which wasn't much). We didn't touch our cars once we settled in and walked to and from the beach, the boardwalk, restaurants and bars and the Jolly Trolley bus stop, when needed. We plan to return and my only hesitation in writing a glowing review is that it will drive up demand for this great house on a quiet street, close to everything that is so great about Rehoboth, but far enough away to truly relax.

Relaxing home in Rehoboth

This was our first experience with VRBO, and we couldn't have had a better one. The owners were fantastic hosts - quite helpful with recommendations for restaurants, bikes, and things to do around Rehoboth. They thought of everything we would need down to the smallest detail. The home was lovely, close to everything, but on a quiet street. We had a great family vacation and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Comfortable Cottage in the Pines

My wife and I and our three adult children very much enjoyed our vacation time in this cottage. We were very comfortable and the house is very well equipped and furnished. We spent most of our time enjoying the screened porch - very relaxing. It was great to park the cars and walk everywhere. The beach, shopping and excellent restaurants were all within a few blocks walk.

Serenity in the Pines

Our stay at this lovely home was more than perfect. Whenever we needed something, it was there, down to the smallest detail. We were more comfortable than in our own home! The owners are wonderful hosts and we highly recommend this property for a peaceful stay at the beach that is within walking distance to everything.

Respite in Rehoboth

We were looking for a much needed relaxing week at the beach and wanted a home that reminded us of our childhood vacations at the shore. This classic Rehoboth beach cottage was even more than we expected and one of the best vacations we’ve had in years. From the moment we entered the front door, we were overwhelmed with a feeling of home. The welcome note, goodies, and soft music provided upon arrival created the perfect mood. The cottage chic décor was sophisticated and yet extremely comfortable. The first floor master bedroom and bath were ideal for the two of us with no need to use the second floor. The fully stocked kitchen was complete for whipping up both simple and gourmet meals. We especially loved the spacious screened porch where we spent most of our time. It has a full size picnic bench for the essential crab feast, plenty of lounge chairs for afternoon naps or reading and wonderful towering pines creating a blanket of cool shade. The new outdoor shower was fun and refreshing. The house location is excellent with really no need for a car. We loved its proximity to Cape Henlopen State Park and Beach. You can walk or ride bikes to all the great restaurants, bars and shops Rehoboth has to offer. The neighborhood is extremely peaceful and pleasant for walking. We were also very impressed with the owner Michael who was very attentive, friendly and thoughtful with helpful recommendations. He was a gracious host with a wonderful home and we will definitely be back next year.

What makes this property unique

An amazing screened porch is attached to the home with 4 exposures to enjoy the breeze and tranquil view.
