Magnificent sea and mountain views from the roof terrace. Quiet and restful place

Two bedroom apartment located in a secure house, fenced yard. Parking on the way to park a car. American kitchen well equipped, with a large living room and dining room with all comfort / TV with satellite, DVD player, WIFI broadband internet connection. From the roof terrace there is a magnificent view of the sea on one side and the mountains on the other side. Access to a path less than ten meters from the house, leading to the cliff with a splendid view of the sea. Dolphins can be seen from the terrace early in the morning or late afternoon. For those who like to walk, the public beach is 20 to 30 minutes away. A well maintained pool and BBQ are on site.

This property is ideal for people who want peace and quiet holidays, the owner Mohan & Pushpa are very accommodating, and this property is very spacious and well kept and spotless, Flic en Flac village, public transport and the beach is within walking distance ideal for the energetic otherwise a car is a must.

We stayed for two months at this spacious home in uptown area of Flic en Flac. Functionally and thoughtfully structured rooms including a large master bedroom equipped with a working desk big enough for two people, connecting walk-in closet (room!) with a built-in dresser. Good water pressure with plenty of hot water in the shower. Highly recommend for those who seek independent, quiet time off. Suggest a rent-a-car to explore the active atmosphere at downtown Flic en Flac and other areas. Warm hospitality of the host added an excellent value to our stay.

Wonderful stay in flic en flac!

The neat house is situated in a quiet and pretty district a litte outside the centre of flic en flac. To get to the centre and the public beach, you have to take a litte walk (20 min) or rent a scooter/car in the town. If you are looking for recovery and restfulness, this apartment with the beautiful sea-view from the rooftop and from your balcony will be perfect. With our rental car, it was no problem to discover the whole island. You come to every place of mauritius in max. 1-2 hours. (Port Louis, Pamplemousse, Le Morne, Blue Bay,...) The apartment is equipped very good and you will have all the things for your self supply. The whole apartment is very big and clean. You can also use the pool in front of the house. We really enjoyed our 3-week-stay and also the hirer Mr. Kalasekaran was very nice and helpful!

Das Apartment ist sehr groß und liegt im Obergeschoss. Die Vermieter wohnen ebenfalls in dem Haus. Es gibt einen Zugang zum Flachdach, von dort hat man eine gute Aussicht. Allerdings hat das Dach keine Aufenthaltsqualität ... es ist mit Solaranlagen belegt. Der Balkon bietet etwas weniger Aussicht, ist allerdings überdacht und somit sowohl in der Mittagssonne als auch bei Regen nutzbar.Das Haus liegt in einem (gehobenen) Wohngebiet. Hunde sind dort üblich und auch gelegentlich zu hören. Es findet sich alles benötigte in der Wohnung, allerdings ist vieles nicht mehr auf dem modernsten Stand. Die vorhandene Waschmaschine ist praktisch. Ohne Mietwagen ist das Apartment allerdings nicht zu empfehlen, da das Wohngebiet keinen ÖV-Anschluss hat und auch keinerlei Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Großartige Lage und super nette Vermieter

Wir verbrachten dort fast 4 Wochen . Die Lage ist perfekt um die ganze Insel zu erkunden .Ein Auto ist unbedingt erforderlich, da es zum Badestrand und zum Einkaufen zu weit ist zum Laufen, besonders wenn es dort Sommer ist. Der Linksverkehr war ab dem 2. Tag auch kein Problem mehr ( unbedingt Automatik buchen) .Wir waren jeden Abend froh wenn wir in dieser ruhigen Wohngegend waren.Vom Balkon kann man auf‘s Meer und in die Berge sehen und von der Dachterrasse hat man einen perfekten Rundum - Blick.Die Vermieter sind super nett und immer hilfsbereit.

Pushpa ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin, sie hat uns gute Hinweise für Unternehmungen gegeben. Sie war telefonisch immer für uns erreichbar. In der Ferienwohnung haben wir vor allem den Balkon mit seitlichem Blick auf das Meer genossen.

Enjoyed 3 months in this comfortable clean apartment, spacious with every modern appliance in excellent condition. Situated approx 3 k from Flic en Flac beach in quiet good residential area. Pool area enclosed giving complete privacy, the only sound being birdsong We hired a car and explored every part of the island , the roads being good , & parked daily inside security gated garden. Recommend a car, although buses to many areas 20 minutes walk away Overall a memorable experience, if returning to Mauritius would wish to stay at Safelands again

Grand appartement avec chambres climatisées, propre et bien équipé, bonne literie, grande salle de bain, salle de douche, séjour cuisine non climatisé nécessitant une forte aération la nuit. Propriétaire sympathique et disponible. Changement des draps après 5 jours. Quartier calme, fenêtres sécurisées avec moustiquaires, coffre-fort. Place de parking dans l’enceinte de l’immeuble. Nous sommes des amoureux de l'île Maurice où nous venons depuis 6 ans toujours un peu plus longtemps. Le logement correspond à la description la situation est excellente avec une vue d'ensemble exceptionnelle des couchers des soleil idylliques depuis la terrasse supérieure.Les propriétaires sont charmants. Aucuns problèmes de sécurité.Seule chose il faut un moyen pour se déplacer. Juste un petit commentaire sur une appréciation datant de juillet 2017: celle-ci est regrettable car tout est faux et n est pas le reflet de ce que nous pensons et de ce que pensaient les autres évaluations qui sont toutes positives. Nous pensons y revenir !!! Michèle et Claude

nice and quiet apartment nearby the seaside

We stayed in Dec.2016 four weeks in this well equipped, spacious apartment. You´ll really get, what you see on the pictures. There is only one apartment for rental >it´s the left balcony on picture< - From there you have a good seaview, while taking breakfast or lunch. On roof-top you have a marvelous panorama seaview - especially at sunset. It´s only a short walk -2´- to the cliffs at the seaside - there you´ll find a great place to relax and watch the seaside. To reach busy Flic en Flac-Center, you should use a car or scooter (there is a good offer at agency `Bon plan de voyage´ in FeF) - in this house/ apartment you´ll find everything you need to spend perfect, relaxing holidays. Thank you very much to the kind owner Mohan, who offered his help to buy some food for the first days - and thank you very much for your hospitality during our whole stay!!! Next time -we´re back to Flic en Flac, we try to rent this apartment again.
