Renovated Family Friendly 4 bedroom Cottage - Walk to Beach and Town

This renovated and tasteful home features four well appointed, large bedrooms (2 bedrooms have twin beds, one has a queen and one has a king). It also has two updated, full baths (one upstairs and one downstairs), as well as an outside sun shower. The first floor has an open flow with a brand new, modern kitchen that any chef would enjoy. There is also a comfortable family room with an HD TV and cable television. A large utility room features a full size washer and dryer. The house gets lots of light and comes with in-window air conditioners plus fans.

The backyard features shady trees and a two car garage. A large porch at the front of the house (complete with a porch swing) is perfect for relaxing in the late afternoon. Lawn furniture and beach chairs are provided.

A third floor attic can be used for storage or as an informal playroom.

Although the listing pictures didn’t match the house we were in, it was a perfect house for our group attending a wedding. We especially enjoyed the bikes and the closeness to the village and the beach. Nicely stocked kitchen.

Relaxing Home - fit for a Beach Vacation

The house was well stocked, light, simple and in the BEST location. Being able to walk to Amagansett town AND the beach was awesome. House worked perfectly, and we had everything we needed. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Clean and quiet in great location!

The house was very clean and well maintained. Kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable, and there were plenty of nice thick towels in both bathrooms. Step in shower downstairs was easily accessible but tub in upstairs bathroom was high to step in to with no grab bar and it was slippery. The neighborhood is quiet and a short walk from Atlantic Avenue Beach. Great location for exploring the area. Would stay here again.

A gem in perfect neighborhood

Outstanding location, clean, recently renovated property with everything you may need!

Lori hosted us for a week over July 4, 2023. The house is located 0.8 miles from the beautiful Atlantic beach, can easily walk there in about 13 minutes (we wagoned our kids over there). Alternatively, you can drive and drop off the rest of your party, drive back to the house, and bike to the beach. Bikes are a courtesy for use with the house. The house is tasteful, well-appointed, and conveniently located to town. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant to walk around. Lori was very responsive prior to and after our stay. Everything during the stay was so smooth that we didn't have to contact her. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks for a great holiday week!

Wonderful

Despite the construction occurring next door and across the street, we had wonderful stay. Clearly the construction was in a rush to be completed prior to the onset of the summer season, but that couldn't have been helped by the host. She did respond and speak to the town regarding their work hours. (Lesson learned: Just make sure to ask about ongoing construction if you are planning on renting anywhere in the Hamptons.) The host provided an additional bike for us since we were a party of four. She was very responsive and helpful. The short walk to the beach is beautiful and the grocery store close by for essentials. Thanks for the great vacation!

Summer stay July 2023

We loved our stay at Lori's house! The home is newly renovated, well maintained and super clean. It was a short walk to town and the beach and we enjoyed the local restaurants and farms. We spent a lot of family time on the front porch and on the comfy swing. Lori was a fabulous host and we would definitely stay again, We were very sad to leave. Lori, thank you for a lovely stay!!

Lovely week in Amagansett

Lovely renovated home with a great kitchen for family meals. An easy walk to the beach and to town. We loved Balsam Farms, Amber Waves and Mike’s seafood shop and did not stray too far from the property.

Wonderful house!

We had a great time in this lovely home. It had everything we needed to accommodate our group. The large living room and comfortable seating were great for visiting and watching TV. The table was great for games and meals together!

Wonderful home great location

The house was wonderful - the location was great, so close to the beach and bikes/beach chairs are included. The neighborhood is lovely. Also very close to town and two great small farms for fresh food. Lori was easy to communicate with and always available. Would stay again without a doubt!

Wedding Weekend Wonderland

Nothing beats the Hamptons in September and this charming spot made our family wedding weekend epic. Just a few blocks from my favorite beach and a charming mix of old and new, it was perfect for our extended family. Lori did everything she could to enhance our stay and we would return again for sure! From the bikes to the porch swing, it was all we wanted!

Clean, bright, roomy 4 comfortable bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms suited our family of 6. Five adults, one 4-year old . Easy walks to the beach, visits to many favorite places from more than 20 years ago. Highly recommend this house in a quiet neighborhood.

The house was so beautiful and well maintained. My family was delighted to stay in this house.

My overall experience is that this house a big for seven people. Everyone in my family enjoyed staying over Lori' house because it was so comfortable. It was an convenient location since, you can go East Hampton to buy something or you were able also go to golf in 9 holes golf course located at the Sag Harbor. Our overall experience was terrific.
