Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Surfmaster 108. The property was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the view was great. Living room furniture was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. The pool was nice (although a bit small) and the walk to the beach was quick and easy. Convenient location to walk to the Pavillion, the pier, restaurants, etc. That said, we had a few hiccups that I think could have been avoided. First, the room pictured with bunkbeds (twin over full) no longer has bunk beds. The beds have been taken apart and put next to each other, which leaves almost ZERO space to move around in the room. It was not comfortable and felt claustrophobic. I don't know why they were taken apart and nobody from the rental company notified us in advance. Additionally, there is now a twin bed located in the room with the queen bed, also leaving less space to move around, but definitely not as cramped as the bunkbed room. The furniture on the patio is also not what is pictured in the listing photos. I liked what was there (blue wood chairs and a table) but I didn't like that the photos hadn't been updated. When we arrived, the kitchen light did not work. We didn't notice it until after the office closed for the evening on Saturday, and nobody was available on Sunday. I called to report it on Monday morning. It was not fixed until FRIDAY afternoon right before we left. Nobody even showed up to look at it until late Wednesday. It made it nearly impossible to cook after it got dark. We were literally going in there with our cell phone flashlights to see what we were doing. Overall, I would recomend this property to other travelers, with the caveat that things might not be as pictured when you arrive.
