In 45 km of beaches and ocean, we suggest you getting fresh ideas in this house the XVIIIth end with its 3 fireplaces, his(her,its) stone tiled floor, its baker's oven, its sunny closed garden and of which the RDC is accessible to the handicaped persons. We restored him(it) tastefully, decorated carefully (the former(ancient) lives with the modern and of the furniture mocked design).
Ideally situated in a hamlet very quiet and protected in the heart of Saintonge Romanic and of the vineyard native of the Charente region, just a step from beautiful historic cities … In the property, big spaces will be provided you with and it will be possible to visit a Distillery-museum of cognac always In service and to participate in a tasting.

Sehr schönes altes Haus mit viel Platz. Es hielt die Hitze sehr gut draußen auch der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Schönes Umland und ungefähr einen Stunde bis zu den Stränden des Atalantik!

Grand, avec tout ce qu'il faut, au calme et jolies balades autour.

Tout était parfait. A louer sans hésiter ! Dégustation de Pineau et Cognac excellentes juste en face. Bonne literie. Le charme du rustique.

Comfortable, quiet, just what we needed!

We had a wonderful two weeks at this property in mid-September. It is situated just a 15 minute walk from the small town, next to a very friendly Pineau / Cognac distillery. Most mornings I would walk to the boulangerie for breakfast provisions. There is a very friendly local bar too with good food and an excellent butcher’s shop too, as well as a Coop. The property is full of character with everything we needed. As my husband is paralysed, we did require our own shower chair but the wet room was ideal and we had no problems at all. The bed had even been kindly raised so he could transfer more easily. He has a bike attachment for his wheelchair and we had many delightful treks down the quiet country roads. We feel so lucky to have found such a charming place in such a relaxed setting. It was everything we were looking for. Many thanks.
