About this property

This old magnagnery has retained its authenticity in the middle of a wooded park and an area of more than 1ha. Located at the gates of the Cévennes, it is the ideal place for starting walks to the mountains, the sea and tourist sites such as Nimes, Uzès, the Camargue, Aigues Mortes, Anduze, Pont du Gard are very close (1 hour max). Region which has just been classified as World Heritage by UNESCO.
By the 11.5 x 5.5 pool with a huge paved beach, you can enjoy the midday sun in the middle of nature.
Maryvonne and Gérard will be happy to advise you on your walks in the region and to share with you a few moments of conviviality or a game of pétanque.

Superbe

L'accueil est vraiment chaleureux par nos hôtes fort sympathiques. Extérieurement, une très jolie et grande piscine est entourée par un très grand jardin aux multiples espaces et variétés de plantes, très bien entretenu, c'est magnifique, bravo. Bien vu aussi la petite cuisine d'été, très pratique, ainsi qu'un terrain de pétanque. Nous nous sommes beaucoup plu dans cet espace où l'on peut profiter du chant des cigales, particulièrement puissant ici. L'appartement est un peu petit mais dispose d'un équipement assez complet. Nous l'avons trouvé peu ergonomique et le mobilier plutôt vieillot. Pour nous qui sommes habitués au modernisme (volets électriques, clim...), on est revenu quelques décennies en arrière. Mais ça fait du bien, on s'est vraiment ressourcé et reposé dans cet espace. La salle d'eau est très réduite: wc, douche et lavabo tiennent dans à peine 2 M2. La région est très calme et campagnarde, le village dispose de quelques commerces mais pour faire ses courses, il faudra tout de même faire quelques kilomètres. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les marchés locaux ainsi que les villages médiévaux. Pour résumer: nous recommandons cette location, allez-y les yeux fermés et encore un grand merci à nos hôtes, nous ne les oublierons pas.
