Sonnac: Secluded country cottage on large domaine

This confortable gite that sleeps 4 is situated on some distance of the main building and the horse stables. Very quiet spot with beautiful views. Pool shared with the other cottages.
The house is well-equipped, has a living room with TV, kitchen and showerroom/WC on the ground level, on the first floor are the 2 bedrooms and another showerroom/WC. Large terrace, furniture and sunshade.
From September till mid May electricity expenditure will be charged (0,25 €/kWh)

Heerlijk verblijf!

We hadden de gite geboekt maar toen we aankwamen bleek dat ook nog een deel van het grote huis beschikbaar was, waar we zonder meerkosten mochten verblijven. Heerlijk ruim verblijf was dat. Met wasmachine en vaatwasser! En met een mooi uitzicht. In de buurt van het schilderachtige dorpje Camon en ook Mirepoix met z'n markt was niet ver. We hebben genoten van de speelse poesjes die op het terrein woonden. Aanrader!

Jolie petite maison perdue dans un Ă©crin de verdure

La maison est trĂšs mignonne avec ses grandes fenĂȘtres et fraĂźche (malgrĂ© 38 degrĂ©s Ă  l'extĂ©rieur). Les salles de bain sont agrĂ©ables, la cuisine est trĂšs pratique et la literie est confortable. Pour les couples, il faut prendre en compte que ce sont des lits simples et prĂ©voir les draps adaptĂ©s (on le voit sur les photos mais on ne fait pas forcĂ©ment attention). Les chambres sont grandes avec de belles vues sur la nature. La petite terrasse isolĂ©e de la grande maison est bien agrĂ©able. L'accĂšs peut ĂȘtre un peu compliquĂ© et je dĂ©conseille une voiture sur baissĂ©e (partout en AriĂšge d'ailleurs !). Il faut aussi Ă©viter les jeunes enfants car l'escalier n'est pas adaptĂ© mais en ce cas regardez les autres gĂźtes de la grande maison. L'accueil a Ă©tĂ© trĂšs sympathique et nous n'avons eu aucun souci bien que nous soyons arrivĂ©s plus tĂŽt que prĂ©vu. La maison est propre dans l'ensemble mais comme toujours les locataires prĂ©cĂ©dents peuvent ĂȘtre plus ou moins maniaques. Nous avons passĂ© 2 semaines et je recommande pour le cadre et la localisation (mirepoix Ă  25min, foix Ă  40min, Montsegur Ă  1h et on peut facilement aussi aller dans l'aude comme alet les bains qui est Ă  25min. A noter chalabre Ă  10min avec un petit carrefour, boulangerie, boucherie, tabac et Camon juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© pour la baignade dans la riviĂšre).

Gite en pleine campagne

Gite propre, bien équipé. On y accÚde par un chemin empierré avec "nids de poule". Pas facile. La piscine est propre et partagée avec d'autres locataires. La voiture est indispensable.

Avkopplande och vackert

Ett mysigt hus, perfekt för upp till fyra personer. Ligger avskilt och naturskönt, men med intressanta platser inom köravstĂ„nd. Ägaren var hjĂ€lpsam och tillmötesgĂ„ende. Alla bekvĂ€mligheter finns i huset. Det finns dessutom en svalkande lite pool med underbar utsikt över PyrenĂ©erna, som man delar med andra gĂ€ster. Trots varmt vĂ€der var det svalt i huset. Grannen har hĂ€star och katter, men det störde inte.

"Owner was very helpful and we had a wonderful stay. Her friends were staying in the larger house and were also extremely friendly. The house has been renovated to a very high standard and the surroundings are superb. The children enjoyed the pool and the horse-riding. It would be nice to have WiFi, although it was only a few meters to walk to the main house, where we could use our lap-top."

"Le logement et l''Ă©quipement est trĂšs bien, merci. Nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© le gite surtout quand il ne faisait pas beau. N''oubliez pas vos CDs, la petite chaine a un bon son bien agrĂ©able. Je met que 2/5 pour l''environnement car d''une part la vue sur le hangar n''est pas trĂšs joyeuse, le propriĂ©taire devrait faire un effort pour cacher la vue avec de la vĂ©gĂ©tation haute par exemple. Et d''autre part, les lieux touristiques, notamment les chĂąteaux cathares sont assez loin du gite (1h30 de voiture pour aller Ă  Peyrepertuse). A voir dans une distance raisonnable (ce que nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ©): le lac de Chalabre, Camon et la balade sur l''ancienne voie ferrĂ©e en direction du tunnel, le centre de Mirepoix, Le chĂąteau cathare de Puivert que nous n''avons pas visitĂ© Ă  cause du guichetier qui n''Ă©tait pas sympa... Et le musĂ©e des dinosaures d''Esperaza, super bien fait pour les enfants. Au niveau des caves, nous sommes allĂ© chez "Castel Negre" en bas d''Alet les bains: Son vin est dĂ©licieux. Nous avions achetĂ© de la Blanquette de Limoux - non sucrĂ©e - et du syrah, et nous nous sommes rĂ©galĂ©s. N''emportez pas de fruits!! PrĂšs du gite, vous pouvez aller chercher vos pĂȘches Ă  Sonnac sur l''hers chez un producteur: nous avons rarement mangĂ© de pĂȘches aussi bonnes! Un rĂ©gal! Bref, un excellent sĂ©jour mĂȘme si nous aurions aimĂ© ĂȘtre plus au centre des chateaux Cathare."
