Modern cabin w/ all Amenities in Windham -> 5 minutes to Skiing

Just a 2.5-hour drive from NYC, you can escape to a relaxing and fully furnished modern cabin on five acres of wooded land. The house is located just five minutes from the town of Windham, full of great restaurants and shopping. For skiers, the house is only a 5 minute drive to the Windham Mountain Club.

The cabin is perfect for small groups and larger families, as it sleeps 10 comfortably. The house has a master bedroom with a king-sized bed and master bathroom complete with a soaking tub. Upstairs, there is a second bedroom with a king bed and third bedroom with two single beds. The fourth bedroom is in the basement with bunk beds (twin over full), and there is pull out couch in the living room and a large couch in the basement. There are 2.5 baths.

For the summer and fall, there is a large outdoor deck with a table for 8 and propane grill. Firewood is provided for the outdoor fire pit—great to use year-round.

Beautiful Home!! Cozy and Spacious.

Our family had a wonderful stay! Modern log cabin was spacious yet cozy. The owner Matt was easy to speak with and offered dining recommendations. Skiing was great, town of Windham was quaint - everything was minutes away. This is a great one!! Loved the privacy yet close proximity to all Windham has to offer. Highly recommend.

Lovely Windham Cabin! Where Dreams Come True

This cabin is perfect for a weekend (or week!) away from the city. I stayed recently with a group of old friends from college (and their young children), and we throroughtly enjoyed our time. The house itself is clean and incredibly cozy, with a huge deck (and a grill), and a yard large enough for wiffle ball and lawn games. The large, open kitchen is great. The firepit out front is a fun bonus for late summer nights (and probably all fall). The location is ideal: tucked away on a quiet street in the woods, but close enough to the cute restaurants and shops in town. On top of it all, Matt is a superb host--willing to answer any questions and provide helpful recommendations for things to do/places to eat in the area (French bistro, Cave Mountain, etc.) Certainly hoping to come back again to ski in the winter!

The Most Perfect Weekend Escape

This house was exactly how you may picture a mountain getaway cabin, and then some! Gorgeous house with a lot of exposed wood and fine craftsmanship, spacious rooms, comfy beds, fully stocked kitchen, and lots of games. Matt was super helpful throughout the entire process of booking, sharing recommendations, and answering any questions we may have had promptly. We visited the downtown for some local flavor and food. We went on a nice long hike too with access to a lot of trail options 5-30 minutes away. I would highly recommend this property to anyone searching for a mountain excursion!

My family had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful country cabin in August 2015. The experience we had with the owner, from the initial contact regarding the property through our departure, was straightforward, prompt, and pleasurable. The photos truly do not do the house justice. The rooms were large, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked. Matt was helpful regarding our questions about the area. Our visit to this beautiful area was enhanced by ending our days at our "home away from home" where we all kicked back and watched movies, or played ping pong. When we return to the area we plan on booking this property again!!!

Comfortable Cozy Home

This was our first vacation rental as a whole family and had alot of questions, that Matt answered for us and made it easy and pleasant. Very cozy clean. Modern style cabin, beautiful high ceiling, remote fireplace and comfortable furniture. Nice size rooms with tv's. We had a memorable mini vacation and are looking forward to making this a family tradition!

Picturesque Ski Cabin!

This is an absolutely beautiful rental! It's new, clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable - the kitchen is big and well stocked - and the living room is cozy and welcoming. If you are planning on skiing you are only minutes from the mountain. If you want to skip the skiing, downtown Windham is only minutes away. Check out all the cute antique shops and restaurants! Added bonus - the owner is really nice and helpful! He answered all of our questions and was wonderful at communicating with us before we checked in. Perfect vacation house!

Wonderful Mountain Vaca

What a lovely home! I loved how the house was easily accessible to the town (restaurants, shopping, etc.) and the ski slopes but still feels remote and private. There was plenty of room. We so enjoyed our long weekend and will absolutely be back during the summer time.

Perfect home minutes from ski mt. this home was warm and inviting pictures dont do it justice! My family stayed this febraury and had a blast, the owner was great,answered any question right away that came up(werent many) The kitchen had everything you could need to cook. Very clean, very private! Having stayed in many home rentals for vacation this was easily one of my best experiences and highly recommend the home if your staying in windam, you wont be dissapointed!

Perfect getaway

Absolutely beautiful cabin! Perfect location from the town and ski resort. Perfect place for a quiet get away! Walking into the cabin you feel right at home and very cozy through out the entire stay. Already planning our next trip back! Expected a place like this to be a lot higher in price! Highly recommend!
