2023 renovated 5 bedroom house located on the back side of ski Windham mountain. located 10 minutes from the town of Windham and 10 minutes from the town of Hunter. sleeps 16 persons ..A fully furnished home with new furniture , 3 king size beds and 1 twin bed , a twin bunk beds, full bed and a Queen size bed, 4 bedrooms have walk in closets , towels, sheets, blankets and pillows, Jacuzzi tub in master bedroom. 4 bathrooms with 2 upstairs and 2 down stairs , full furnished kitchen with all amenities , very clean with granite counter tops/island. washer/ dryer, Spectrum cable company with WIFI with 4 flat LED screen TV mounted on the walls and the Great room tv is a 70” LED smart tv , DVD players , furnished great room with two couches, Foosball table ,and a wood burning stove , 2 gas fireplace with one in the master bedroom and the other in the living room, Ping Pong table/foosball and smart TV , 2 central air conditioning units ,barbecue and a very large stone fire pit outside with adirondack chairs ..Large garage (23'x25') which you can park your vehicle inside and personal storage. land /DEP borders the back of property with many walking/hiking trails leading to the top of the ski windham. Great Spring and Summer getaway to relax and enjoy the mountains …for winter rental ,I do have a plow contract so snow plowing included …

***Horse shoes and bean bag cornhole game are available for summertime use ***

Vidbel Mountain Homestead is a horse farm located in Windham And has a petting zoo which is very kid friendly

winter house

The house was the most amazing layout for our family and friends to enjoy after skiing at Windham. We had plenty of room to spread out, kids loved the basement and playing in the woods. There was ample room to have multiple families, to cook, and relax in the fireplace room. It was an awesome retreat after a full day of skiing. The owner was always on hand to communicate with and we truly loved it. Location was great and we would recommend it to anyone!

House was perfect and spacious for our 3 families. Anthony was super responsive and easy to communicate with. Everything worked well and was clean. We skied windham and it was a short drive over.

Excellent Stay in the Beautiful Catskills

Anthony is a great host - we have stayed at this house for the last 3 years and each time the experience has been nothing short of wonderful! The house has amazing views of the surrounding hills from the wraparound porch/deck, a HUGE firepit, treehouse and other cool amenities. Great spot to get away from it all. Inside, very clean and spacious to easily accommodate our large group. Especially enjoy relaxing in the entertainment room and eating meals together in the large kitchen!

Great Place to Stay

This is an amazing house for the price. I was amazed at the size and really impressed with the amount of entertainment it brought for a group of 16. Everything was clean and in order. Anthony was extremely helpful and assisted with everything before we went in and during our stay. Would recommend coming this house again.

Great for group ski trip

Spacious house was great for a few families to gather and ski Hunter Mountain (approx 15 minutes away). Owner is very friendly, communicative and clearly cares a lot about maintaining/improving the property. Great for school age kids & adults. Would return.

Awesome relaxing time

The house was perfect with lots of space for a group of 10 to spread out. We had a mix of adults, tweens and teens and at no time were we on top of each other. The fire pit provided hours of entertainment and relaxation as well. The wildlife was a pleasant surprise.

Great Family Weekend!

First let me say Anthony is a great host, very accessible and communicated with us from check in to check out. We were a party of 11 and the house very spacious for us, clean and well stocked. The great room was perfect for our family gathering in the evening to relax and be together. I would without a doubt recommend this home and look forward to a future rental at this lovely home. Plenty of Room for Everyone!!

We were so pleased with our stay at Anthony's house for a family friends weekend! In years past we've gone camping but it will be hard to camp after a weekend at this place. The property (inside and out) was clean, spacious, and ideal for our group It is a huge secluded piece of property and an ENORMOUS fire ring in the backyard. Any questions we had were promptly answered and everything we needed was already there. We had a GREAT time!!

Great summer weekend trip

Anthony’s house was lovely and worked out really well for our group of 4 families with many young children for a summer weekend. Only feedback is that I wish the house had some more backyard activities for younger children like a swingset or games. The twin mattresses were a little thin/could feel the springs. Otherwise house was large, clean, and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Thanks Anthony for the great stay!

Spacious, airy, mountain comfort for the whole family

We had our family reunion here and it did not disappoint. We had people coming from other states and Puerto Rico and we were 15 ranging from 2 years old to 67 years old. EVERYONE had a blast. The house is just so spacious yet not overwhelmingly big. There was space for everyone, especially our first two days that were rainy. The huge play room is amazing. Kids and adults went back and forth between the big playroom, to the smaller living room, to the kitchen, to the basement to play ping pong or even workout, to the deck outside, to the fire pit! Really, there was just enough to do without leaving the house! Anthony was extremely attentive and super responsive. He clearly truly cares about his home and guests having the best time. We definitely recommend.

Great House

We rented this house for our ski trip during MLK weekend. We have 4 families sharing 5 rooms. The adults could sit and chat in one room while the kids used another room to play. The furniture and appliances were like new and clean. It was 10 minutes drive to Windham Ski Resort. It was very convenient. If the house has internet access, I would give it 5 stars. If you want a movie night, make sure you download the movies and bring them with you. Pros: -Two living rooms -Two dinning tables -Three TVs (one in each living rooms on the 1st floor and one in master bedroom on the 2nd floor) -Cable TV (Dish Network) -Two car garage -Nice decorations Cons: - No internet or Wifi. One or two bars for AT&T service.

Amazing!

We stayed here over the July 4th weekend and had an amazing time. The owner was fantastic—responsive to all our questions and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The house itself is beautiful, perched on a hill with stunning views. Everything was clean, including the bathrooms and linens. We especially enjoyed spending time around the firepit in the backyard. Highly recommended!

A perfect Catskills vacation

We were a big group with 5 kids, and the house worked great, Anthony was a great host and helped with everything we needed. We cooked a lot and enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, and after dinner we made s'mores around the great fire pit outside. A perfect Catskills vacation

Wonderful house and host

We were a group of 12 with 3 families and everyone from infants to grandparents thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The firepit was wonderful entertainment and the kids spent hours playing ping pong and foosball. The house is comfortable with ample space and supplies and a great family room that can accommodate the entire group. Would stay here again!

Family Reunion in the mountains

We had a wonderful time at this property. The house is spacious and accommodated our large family (13) comfortably. The small children had their own space to play right off the kitchen, and the teens enjoyed their own large screen TV, as well as ping pong and foosball. We all loved the firepit area where we gathered at night. The property owner is very communicative and helpful. We look forward to returning in the future.

Multi generational stay was perfect

We were an extended family that had a wonderful stay. The place had enough room that 11 of us (7 adults and 4 kids) weren’t on top of each other constantly. There was plenty of common space to gather in and the rooms were large enough to accommodate pack and plays or mini air mattresses for the littles. The outside is beautiful and we ended up having family photos taken right there instead of venturing somewhere else. We stayed put for the entire trip and that’s exactly what we were looking for, however it’s a bit remote if you’re looking for entertainment or restaurants. We were completely content staying and eating at home so it wasn’t an issue at all. The owner was very communicative and helped us have a wonderful stay.

Perfect for 2 families to share for a ski weekend

Great house (layout, space, etc), great furnishings (tempurpedic mattresses etc) was perfect for a ski weekend for 2 families to share. Very close to Windham and Hunter, and the owner couldn't have been more helpful.
