A unique place to stay

A very individual property. The large balcony is a huge point. It gets the sun in the morning and is lovely to sit and look out over the bay in the evening. The apartment is decorated with original artwork. There is a lovely bathroom with a good shower and the bed was comfortable. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the lane and the train station is about 10 mins walk away and is a very quick route into Marseille. However my favourite was the little shuttle boat which links the two harbours wnd is a very scenic trip. As I found in Marseille, everything is up a hill and this flat is up near the top. However it was worth it for the view and I got quite fit in a few days 😊

wir sind in der Beurteilung dieser FeWo sehr ambivalent. Der Besitzer ist SEHR nett und der Kontakt ist SEHR schnell und freundlich!Die Lage ist wirklich sensationell mit diesem Blick bis nach Marseille und ĂŒber L'Estaque, der großen Terasse, man ist in 8 Minuten am hafen, bus, navette, Zug, Restaurants, BĂ€ckerei, Lebensmittel. Zum Strand sind es ca 25 Minuten zu Fuss und die Verbindungen nach Marseille bestens fußlĂ€ufig zu erreichen. Allerdings ist man in der Stadt, die Bahnlinie ist nah. Man sollte sich auf LautstĂ€rke einstellen. UNS hat es nicht gestört! Die Anfahrt ist trotz Beschreibung etwas speziell, sehr eng (SUV), sehr steil, keine Wendemöglichkeit, parken am Haus ist möglich, falls kein Nachbar schneller war... Man muss passgenau rĂŒckwĂ€rts zurĂŒck. Wir haben im Ort geparkt (was uns nicht gestört hat), u.E. sollte man das aber wissen!Das Appartement selber ist wirklich haargenau wie auf den Fotos, das muss man mögen. Wir finden, es hatte seinen eigenen Charme und wir mochten es.Leider war alles etwas schmutzig und verwohnt und obwohl die wichtigsten Dinge geputzt waren, war es durch die vorherigen BrĂ€nde und den Mistral alles verrusst und das tĂ€glich neu. Das hat unser VergnĂŒgen getrĂŒbt, wir konnten aber mit dem Besitzer darĂŒber sprechen.

Wunderschöner Blick, kreative Unterkunft

Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist ziemlich steil - aber es lohnt sich! Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist einfach nur traumhaft. Das Zimmer ist wunderschön und kreativ. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Das Bad ist groß und die Dusche sehr gut (warmes Wasser, Wasserdruck). Die (Außen-)KĂŒche ist etwas gewöhnungsbedĂŒrftig, aber fĂŒr uns war es OK. Am Hafen unten gibt es gute Restaurants, wenn man nicht selber kochen mag. Im Sommer fĂ€hrt dort auch stĂŒndlich ein Shuttleboot direkt zum alten Hafen von Marseille. Alternativ gibt es aber auch einen Bus (mit Umsteigen) nahe der Unterkunft. Ein anderer Bus fĂ€hrt vom Hafen in ein paar Minuten zu einen schönen Badestrand. Von der Lage her absolut perfekt! Nur ist es etwas laut (Autos, Flugzeuge, ZĂŒge) - aber das ist beim Urlaub in einer Großstadt wohl zu erwarten und war OK fĂŒr uns.

Hormis la vue incroyable sur le port de Marseille et la propretĂ© du logement, des dĂ©tails qui n'en sont pas des moindres ont gĂąchĂ© notre sĂ©jour : - stationnement Ă  proximitĂ© du logement presque impossible (Ă  moins d'avoir une petite voiture puissante ou un 4x4, sans compter que soit vous montez en marche arriĂšre pour redescendre en marche avant soit vous faites l'inverse, en haut d' une petite ruelle Ă©troite, pentue et sinueuse oĂč aucun demi-tour n'est possible. - A l'arrivĂ©e, nous avons attendu pendant presque 2h le voisin du propriĂ©taire (nĂ©anmoins trĂšs gentil) qui devait nous ouvrir la porte. - nous avons dĂ» rĂ©clamer les draps pour le 2eme lit, non fournis Ă  notre arrivĂ©e - le coin-cuisine (situĂ© Ă  l'extĂ©rieur du logement sur la terrasse) ne possĂšde pas d'Ă©vacuation des eaux usĂ©es (seau qu'il faut vider). Nous avons donc dĂ» faire la vaisselle dans la douche. -

Bonjour, l'impression est trÚs positive. Claude nous a accueilli trÚs chaleureusement, et a été vraiment adorable avec nous pendant notre séjour. Il a eu la gentillesse de nous rendre un service avec une grande générosité. Merci à lui ! le logement a une vue superbe sur l'Estaque avec un peu de vent, ce qui fait du bien les soirs pour se reposer un peu de la chaleur ambiante. une adresse à garder !

"We had a very nice holid...

"We had a very nice holiday. The price for the rental was very good, so we did not have a lot of expectations. It was nice and clean. There was a big sunny terras. The only thing we missed was a little kitchen to prepare our own food. The rest was perfect! Althougt there is running a train behind the house, it did not bother us at all. Estaque is a very nice village. Restaurants are good if you like fish. The people are a little arrogant but it means also they dont bother you with anything. To get from Estaque to Marseille city takes you about 15 minutes bij train or bus. The bus is easy and cheap (about €1,50 single way pp). "

GĂźte avec vue imprenable sur le nouveau port de Marseille.

Nous avons reçu un trÚs bel accueil, ce qui fut apprécié, étant arrivés tard en soirée. Le gßte est parfait pour dormir et pour les soins personnels: le lit est confortable et la salle de bain est bien équipée avec une belle douche. On peut profiter d'une grande terrasse bien aménagée avec vue magnifique sur le nouveau port de Marseille. Pour se nourrir, il faut se limiter à des repas déjà tout préparés car la cuisine n'est pas aménagée suffisamment pour cette fonction. Pour le petit déjeûner, ça peut aller. Ayant habité le lieu en octobre, il faudra prévoir un grand ménage du logis mais cela est sûrement dû à la fin de la haute saison. Aller marcher au nouveau port nous a fait vivre une belle expérience: c'est plein de vie. Louise et Michel du Québec

unglaubliche Aussicht!

Wir hatten eine fantastische Woche in Marseille und haben uns jeden Abend vom Trubel der Großstadt auf der Terrasse erholt. Die Wohnung ist sehr charmant, L'Estaque sehr malerisch und die Aussicht von der Terrasse phĂ€nomenal. 5 Sterne.

Vraiment un super endroit ou passez ses vacances, bon marchĂ© et trĂšs joli : un peu de marche (montĂ©e pour accĂ©der au logement) mais la vue sur la ville et la mer vaut largement le coup. location a proximitĂ© des transports, commerces et l estaque est un endroit de rĂȘve. .. et l hote tres sympa
