When guests soak up the quiet beauty of nature, I realize how much I enjoy being able to give them some respite in the business of life.
It really isn't so quiet here with birds and frogs. I love all the sounds and hope every guest takes some time to just sit and listen to them.
The property is beautiful. One of our favorite parts of the trip was spending mornings and evenings on the porch watching the hummingbirds. Tony and Daisy were wonderful and we will absolutely be back at some point.
Wonderful place to stay. The full kitchen was terrific and waking up to singing birds made the stay all the more memorable. We would absolutely stay again.

Beatrice, I’m glad you enjoyed what we offer here: peacefulness with just the birds and frogs breaking the silence. I like taking a nap on my porch also. I hope you return.
Looking for a place to disconnect from the busy, hectic city life and take in the natural beauty of this area of TN? This is the perfect getaway. Nestled off a lovely country road you'll enjoy this quaint cabin with a wonderful screened-in front porch to enjoy your morning coffee and/or an adult beverage while bird watching and admiring Daisy's beautiful flowers. A little bit of paradise.

If we take time to notice the beauty around us, we will find it, in nature or in gentle people.
We are continuously blessed with guests who know that life is a gift to be lived intentionally, making time to savor moments throughout the day. We want to make our B&B a haven for rest and renewal. We are rewarded with guests like Jan and Joey. We are grateful.
We hope you return often.
The cabin is so cozy and in such a beautiful and serene location. It was perfect.

Dylan came here for a respite. from the hustle and bustle of Nashville. I met him when he first arrived, and we had a friendly talk. Other than that, I did not see him as he was enjoying the peacefulness that we have here. I would happily welcome him back.
Had a fabulous stay!! Beautiful scenery. Cozy cabin. Decor was adorable. Bathroom was a little small, but the rest of the place was amazing!!! We would totally go back!! So much better than staying in a hotel for sure! My favorite part was the front porch! Absolutely amazing!!

Sherrie, thanks for your review. I’m glad that everything satisfied your needs and you found the cabin cozy. Also, you thought us friendly. We try to be. Thanks again.
This is quite a gem! A close enough drive to civilization but so secluded that you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Peaceful. The cabin alis quaint, neat, and so comfortable. So many unique features that you will have to see it to truly appreciate it! For example, a Sears catalogue from 1976 and jazz cassettes with a working cassette player! WOW! There is WiFi but if you like streaming bring a laptop because no TV here....but do you really need one? Tony was a wonderful host.
Best weekend getaway! The cabin is perfectly put together with all the homey details. Property is beautiful, hosts are the best. Perfect!

Thank YOU for traveling down our dirt driveway to enjoy a disconnected private time in a non-pretentious 1952 cabin. The cabin has quirks,as all cabins do and the quaintness gives it something hard to find, simplicity.
I like adding old things that bring back memories. I also like placing little unexpected items around the cabin, I believe fresh flowers are needed, and want to provide forgotten items of travel. Thanks for validating that we achieve our goal of adding good memories to traveling adventures.
Tony & I enjoy all our amazing guests and aim to provide high quality lodging.
Peaceful location and starry nights was what I enjoyed the most

About the host
Hosted by Daisy Jabas or Tony Vincent
We have had a lot of our own travel experiences. Our goal is to make a restful renewing getaway for all that gift us with a visit. Daisy is a retired nurse, mental health advocate, likes to garden and quilt. She's a bit of a mischief maker, known as 'the straw that stirs the drink" of our Fernvale community. Last year she hiked 90 miles on the Appalachian Trail and is planning to do more this year. Tony, has a great sense of humor. He is a retired systems analyst/programmer, Montessori teacher, song writer/folk singer, bottle washer, supervisor and cohort.
Why they chose this property
Not fancy, clean and safe. Old fashioned, allows for a time to reconnect, to family, friends, yourself, and the quiet joy of life. A low stress community, where neighbors are friends. Limited internet and phone service does make it easier to disconnect. (There may be a little reception on a corner of the porch. There is good reception at the end of the drive).
What makes this property unique
An entire log cabin to yourself, with only birds to wake you. The cat probably will ignore you. We are friendly. The Innkeepers that are ever so happy to make sure you have what you need, as well as to sit on the porch and talk.
