3-star (Gîte de France) holiday estate, magnificent 360° views, overlooking the Venasque mountains from the terrace and the national forest from the pool.

The 6x12m swimming pool is fully fenced and private. You can enjoy this fully tiled and illuminated pool in the evening. Sun loungers allow you to enjoy the exceptional view (pool open from May to the end of September).
The very spacious living room of approximately 50 m² opens onto the terrace. The covered terrace (approximately 30 sq m) and open terrace (150 sq m), in a Provençal style with its antique tiles, will charm you with its large stone table (seating 8) and allow you to enjoy everything from breakfast to dinner while taking in the panoramic view.

On the ground floor:

a) 1 master suite in two rooms with a king-size bed (180 cm wide), a bathroom/WC, and a cot;

b) 1 bedroom with a double bed (140 cm) and its own en-suite shower & WC.

Upstairs:

1 bedroom with two single beds (or a king-size bed upon request) and a child's bed,
1 bedroom with a double bed (140 cm),
1 shared bathroom for both bedrooms with toilet and storage space.

This house is ideally located in the heart of Provence for sightseeing excursions and is near one of the most beautiful villages in France, Venasque, nestled in the Vaucluse Mountains. Between forests and cherry orchards, it offers peace and quiet, all modern comforts, and an exceptional setting with unobstructed views of nature. Perfect for nature lovers and those who appreciate beautiful landscapes.
The property overlooks the forest, and hiking trails are accessible directly from the house.

Beautiful Villa

Really is a tasteful, nice large house. The Grounds and Swimming Pool are equally as impressive. A lot of care and attention has gone into maintaining the Villa. Location at peace with Nature.

Fantastic House In A Beautiful Location

The location is superb - exactly what we were looking for - a secluded spot in the middle of quiet, rustic countryside but within easy driving distance to local villages and towns. (Be aware of this when planning your food shopping trips) The house is spacious, clean, and very, very well maintained. All furniture, appliances and amenities are modern and fully functional. The gardens of lavender, rosemary and oak literally buzz with fascinating beautiful wildlife and at night thousands of stars are visible from the terrace. The 12m pool is well maintained and deep enough for fun and swimming, with shady areas by the poolside. It was very welcome in the 35 degree temperatures we experienced during our stay! The owner Peter was incredibly helpful, approachable and friendly, providing all the information we needed in advance. We truly enjoyed our relaxing and stay at this exceptional property and would gladly return.

Heerlijk rustig en rustiek ! Alle voorzieningen zijn aanwezig. Netjes al is het hele huis wat verouderd. Zwembad lekker groot ( ook wel diep) en warm genoeg voor einde augustusMakkelijke communicatie met peter en sandrine.Leuk ook dat bedden opgemaakt waren bij aankomst en we vroeger konden aankomen

Großes Haus mit Pool in idyllischer Lage

Wir hatten zu sechst mit drei Generationen einen tollen Urlaub in diesem großzügig geschnittenen Landhaus. Ideal für große Familien oder mehrere Paare, auch mit mehreren Autos. Sehr gut gelegen für Tagesausflüge mit dem Auto (z.B. nach Gordes, Apt, Avignon, Orange, Arles, Nîmes, zum Mont Ventoux, in die Camargue oder nach Marseille …). Nachmittags zum Runterkommen in den fantastischen Pool und abends Grillen auf der Terrasse. Durch die Entfernung zum nächsten Ort (Venasque) gibt es kaum Lichtverschmutzung und daher einen phänomenalen Sternenhimmel. Als Nachbarn grüßen Wiedehopf, Blauracke, Nachtigall und Fledermaus. Das Haus hat neue, moderne Fenster, teilweise mit Fliegengittern. Der Pool wird regelmäßig gewartet. Sehr nette Eigentümer, denen das Wohl ihrer Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Klare Weiterempfehlung.

Urlaub mit 10 Freunden

Wir haben eine tolle Woche in dem Haus verbracht! Das Grundstück ist super, der Ausblick auch! Die Küche ist groß genug für 10 Personen, alles gut. Ein Schlafzimmer wird nicht durch das Haus, sondern gesondert von hinten erreicht, dies ist aber kein Problem, solange es nicht regnet. Insgesamt definitiv empfehlenswert! Auch der Kontakt mit den Eigentümern war sehr nett und unkompliziert.

Superbe ! Mas provençal magnifique Rien à redire Le propriétaire nous a même contacté en milieu de séjour pour savoir si tout se passait bien. 1.Klasse-Urlaub in traumhafter Lage

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in einem tollen Ferienhaus. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und hat sehr viel Platz. Wir waren mit 8 Erwachsenen und 2 Kleinkindern dort und hatten reichlich Bewegungsfreiheit. Das absolute Highlight ist die Stimmung des Hauses aufgrund der Panoramalage, sowohl am Pool, der im Übrigen auch sehr schön ist, als auch auf der Terrasse. Sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Merci Ben pour vos compliments, nous sommes heureux de voir que vous avez passé un agréable séjour. La météo était exceptionnelle avec des températures records partout en France, du jamais vu encore!. L’avantage de notre maison est qu’elle est en élévation, à 470m ce qui apporte de la fraicheur le soir et la nuit. Pour cette raison aussi il n’y a pas de moustiques, ce qui est très appréciable! Il est surtout important, d’ouvrir la maison la nuit et tôt le matin et ensuite de tout fermer, car elle est très bien isolée. Au plaisir de vous accueillir à nouveau!

Zalige rustige familievakantie

We hadden een erg aangenaam verblijf . De woning ligt afgelegen wat erg rustig is, alles is voorzien in het huis, prima zwembad, propere kamers. Gemakkelijk om te communiceren met eigenaar / verantwoordelijke Zeker een aanrader voor een familievakantie !

Les chambres et les salles de bain du rez-de-chaussée ont été refaites l'année dernière et toutes les fenêtres et portes-fenêtres de la maison remplacées l'année précédente. Une superbe maison au milieu de la garrigue. Si vous rechercher à la fois tranquillité et un point à proximité de lieux pittoresques à visiter tel que Senanque, Gorde, Roussillon, fontaine de vaucluse, mont Ventoux etc.., cette maison est idéale. Nous y avons passé un séjour très agréable.

Great house but some rooms musty. Towels were very rough and had bad smell.

Kitchen well equipped—we cooked often and enjoyed it—and was roomy enough for all 7 of us to help cook. Patio was very with amazing view, several chairs and a huge dining table under cover. Lots of bathrooms. Living and dining room very roomy and comfortable but fireplace smelled of ashes to one guest. Lots of privacy with 5 Bedrooms and 4.5 baths. Only complaint is that the pillows were flat and need to be replaced. Also not all the windows had screens so if we left them open, inserts came in. We did not use the pool but was well maintained and had a nice apron around it with lounge chairs. Good washing facilities with indoor and outdoor drying. WiFi was spotty sometimes and had weak security. The house was remote which meant that it was very quiet and no light pollution. The local contact Valerie was very accommodating and helpful. She Even brought us a bottle of wine when she came before we left.

Thank you Kathy for your comments. We are glad you had a great time and enjoyed your stay. Valerie cleaned all rooms before your arrival and so we are sorry you encountered a musty smell. We hope this did not bother you too much. The fireplace is not used during the summer (no fires allowed because the house is surrounded by forests) and was cleaned last spring, but we will check this, thank you for letting us know. Regarding the Wifi connection, the access is password protected and the house is remote, so nobody from outside should be able to connect to it. Thank you for staying with us, we hope you had a safe journey back!

Maison très agréable avec de grands espaces

Cette location est juste géniale pour les amoureux de la nature et du calme. Les espaces de la maison sont grands et permet à chaque famille si vous êtes plusieurs d'avoir son petit espace. La cuisine est très bien équipée. La piscine est grande et beneficie d'une super exposition. Le must : la terrasse et sa vue pendant l'apero du soir pendant lequel le soleil est très agréable.
