About this property

Family and pet friendly and a short walk to the beach.

You can relax at a pet friendly vacation home at one of the most sought after beaches on the East Coast. Pets are limited to two dogs 50lbs or less. The front porch faces the West and accommodates rocking chairs for enjoying the beautiful sunsets. This raised beach house has an open floor plan. Bedrooms and baths on each side. The bedrooms are furnished with queen beds. The two bedrooms on the right have their own bath. The two bedrooms on the left have queen beds and share a Jack and Jill bathroom. The living room and dining area is a large family gathering area. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed for a wonderful family meal. Keurig and Drip coffee pots. The kitchen has all appliances and full size washer and dryer. Marble countertops with double sinks. Relax on the screened in back porch. It gives you a wonderful view of the Hog Inlet. You can hear the ocean waves and watch the tides change the size of the beach. A large grass and fully fenced yard offers an area for children and pets to play. An outside shower with hot and cold water will be refreshing after a fun day at the beach. A picnic table, chairs, gas grill and Corn Hole boards make for a relaxing evening place to be out of the sun and enjoy the cool breeze. Parking allows for 4 vehicles. Pets must not be left in the yard or on the porches unattended at any time. This is a quite neighborhood with full time residents. Please be courteous to our neighbors..

Great Family Vacation Home

We thoroughly enjoyed the house! It had everything you would need. Owners were quick to respond to all questions. Only suggestion is it would be nice if all the bedrooms were not just 1 queen bed but maybe 2 twins or a full and a twin. Other than that it is perfect!

The house was wonderful and the owner, Dennis was very quick to respond to my messages. It was so nice having the gated backyard so we didn’t have to put the dogs on leashes anytime they needed to go outside. The walk to the beach is a little farther than I like, but we rented a golf cart this year, which made it easy to get to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Great getaway!

We stayed at this lovely beach house for a mini vacation and it was excellent. Great communication from the hosts, easy check in, super clean, and so spacious. There was a short walk to the beach and easy access to the NMB area. We love the Cherry Grove Beach area and this house had all we needed and then some! Definitely recommend!

Week at cherry grove beach house

Perfect for our family of 6 and 2 small dogs. Fenced in yard was a huge plus. The kids loved playing cornhole in the back yard. Short walk to the beach. Glad they had a wagon and beach chairs to use.

Spacious and roomy

Perfect for multiple families that want the benefit of a nice, quiet neighborhood and close to the beach. The walk to the beach was not bad at all. You can walk to cherry grove point within 15-20 minutes and watch a beautiful sunrise!

Extremely Clean and Quiet!

We have stayed in Cherry Grove for several years, but this was our first stay here. The house was immaculately clean. Perfect for the size and ages of our family. We did rent a golf cart for the week (which I recommend if you plan to go to the beach a lot….plus its fun to ride around!) We plan to stay here again in the future!

Perfect family vacation house

We really enjoyed the house, and immediately felt right at home. It fit the needs of our young adult and teen children with multiple bathrooms/ showers. Also was a perfect place for our little dog. She loved having the fenced in yard and hanging with us in the expansive outdoor space. The house was clean for the most part, provided everything we needed to feed a large group. The view of hog inlet from the kitchen/ back porch was also very enjoyable.

Great beach house!

We loved our stay at this great beach house! It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. There are 2 bedrooms on each side of the main living area was perfect for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked which made mealtime quick and easy. We loved the rocking chair front porch and beautiful view from the screened in back porch. The house is on a very quiet and laid back street away from the crowds. You can’t go wrong on this rental property. We had a great week here and the owners were always nice and helpful to work with.

Quiet lovely neighborhood

The house was very nice. We loved the screened in porch and the view of hog inlet. Dennis was easily accessible. I requested an early checkin if possible and he was instrumental in making it happen. Also, due to a brief power outage we lost internet connection and through texting Dennis helped me to reconnect. We will definitely rent this property again in the future.

The inlet

This house was perfect for our stay. The view of Hog’s Inlet from the kitchen and porch was fun to watch as the tides covered and uncovered the sand bar. The house had everything we needed (except sheets and towels as requested in Vrbo.) This is a pet house and perfect for our two little furry critters who loved watching birds from the screened porch. The owner was helpful messaging reminders such as trash days and such. We had a great two week stay, only wishing we could stay longer!

Awesome vacation home!

We booked this home to be close to the point at Cherry Grove for our family vacation which included our kids and grandkids. We usually book a larger house in May or September and one closer to the beach. Space, location, and outdoor space is very important to us. I was a little nervous that this house would be too small and too far from the beach …. Nope! It was perfect! My family LOVED the outdoor space and the walk to the beach was not bad at all. We ended up using the paid parking towards the end of island a few times just because we had so much stuff and there were plenty of spaces available. The house was equipped with a wagon and chairs. The point is absolutely gorgeous and there is lots to explore. The neighborhood was quiet and my grandson was able to ride his scooter without fear of traffic. The guys played lots of corn hole. The space was perfect. The view from the screened in porch is absolutely beautiful. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space. My kids even mentioned it was their favorite house. I have trouble sleeping away from home and my back hurts like crazy when the mattress is too hard or soft but I had no complaints. I slept just as well as when Im at home. Dennis was fantastic at communicating. We had a blast - hopefully not so much that we annoyed the neighbors. We tried to behave but we did thoroughly enjoy our stay! We would definitely consider booking this house again!

Great house

We had a very lovely time that got cut short by hurricane ian. House is spacious for the 7 of us. Owner is very informative . only change i would make is upgrade the mattress. House was very clean and supplied. Also big plus was able to bring our dogs to a house with fenced in yard.

Nice place - close to ocean

Had a very nice stay. Yard was nice for the dog though he preferred the waves on the evening beach walks. Downstairs shower made cleanup a breeze. Communication with owner was very good. Really enjoyed the quietness of the area and screen porch for morning coffee!
