A private Stowe home in a perfect location!

Spruce Pond Haven is a favorite home that our guests love returning to year after year. The open floor plan and central location make this property a sought-after choice for families, couples, and small group getaways.

This welcoming three-level home is well-appointed with a fieldstone gas fireplace, comfortable furnishings, artwork, and a flat screen TV. A fully stocked kitchen and large dining table are ideal for family-style gatherings. With four bedrooms and three baths, this home comfortably sleeps nine people with plenty of privacy. Thoughtful touches are found throughout.

Perched just above Mountain Road (Rt 108) on a private lot adjacent to the popular Cady Hill mountain biking and walking trails, Spruce Pond Haven is the perfect home base for getting out and exploring all that Stowe has to offer. Myriad restaurants, cafés, music venues, shops, and Stowe's famous Recreation Path are just down the hill. All this and you are only a 10-minute drive to the mountain for skiing and other activities. This secluded home is beautifully landscaped and features a large pond—a haven for wildlife.

Great house, great location

We came for our annual ski trip with a group of 6. The house had plenty of space, clean and welcoming. hot tub and fireplace are great features. Hot tub was at the perfect temp when we arrived. House is in a great location. 15 min to the mountain, right down the road from alchemist and other shops and bars. Will definitely return

The property was a nice property but wished we were made aware of some surprises.

Overall the property was beautiful. The pond outside was a plus. There was AMPLE utensils and supplies we could use. Very good property for a family with children. The only issues was the issue getting sound on our tv, getting the hot tub to work and the main issue was a broken window that had a taped screen over it. With children it is a safety hazard and that room was quite chilly.

Great for ski weekend with friends

This home is a great layout and the hot tub was a hit! Living room has a nice gas fireplace and open floor plan. It was clean and well stocked. The lower level bedrooms can get chilly in very cold weather so just something to be aware of. We also did inquire about the possibility of a late check out and never got a response through text or email. Even if not possible, a response would have been nice. Overall a very nice home and great weekend! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Awesome week of winter fun

We really enjoyed our stay at Spruce Pond Haven. Nearly perfect location between village and resort with all the amenities. Hot tub was great after some really cold days on the mountain. Radiant heat from floors and gas fireplace were clutch. The property had plenty of space for parking, storage, and socializing. The hot tub cover needs to be fixed and there were some light bulbs out in quite a few places. I would go back the next time we are in Stowe.

Wonderful Stay on Beautiful Property

We had a wonderful week celebrating Christmas here. The property is beautiful and the house was lovely with an open floor plan and ample sized rooms. Our favorite features were the hot tub (ready and hot upon arrival and perfect after a day of skiing), the heated floors of the master bedroom and bathroom, and the cozy living room centered around the fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked and the management company was very responsive. Our only disappointment was that it seemed from the online site that pets were not permitted but that the rental materials indicated otherwise upon arrival and we would have loved to have brought our dogs so make sure to ask!

Beautiful house and area, but…

There were no photos of the 3 bathrooms at this property on the listing. They are all in need of updates. Drier filter had not been cleaned in sometime (fire danger). Deadbolt on front door desperately needs fixing. And lastly, cover on hot tub is broken and requires manual removal (much too heavy), so we could only open it halfway. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed this property and its surroundings. Very nicely decorated and very comfortable.

What a beautiful properly- private and serene- but steps away from the best restaurants and recreational activities in Stowe! Loved the house and hot tub. We were there in the summer to enjoy the lily pond, but hope to return for ski season. Thank uou for sharing your home!

Ski family Stowe-away

We really enjoyed our stay, lots of games to play, puzzles and beautiful setting. Thank you for letting us have our dogs. The only thing to point out is to put new light bulbs everywhere, many were out. The people that clean the hot tub came but it seemed like it could have been cleaner (more chemicals). Other than that, loved the scenery and your house is very comfortable for the 4 couples that joined. Skiing was awesome too!
