Next to the Kasbah museum on the charming square of the same name, its Blue Café and its snake charmers, close to the souk and the markets. The house has 4 levels and the decoration is in Moorish and contemporary style. Little house near the kasbah

The house was very well equipped with fabulous architecture. Great sitting on the terrace watching life on the rooftops in the evening. As it is on 4 levels you do need to manage living between the levels efficiently. Particularly when in your mid 70s as we were. Definitely a good experience staying in the local community.

Nice for a short stay

Lovely house in the medina. It is a special experience to sleep here and i’m happy we did. The barbeque on the roof iv very usefull and the view is amazing. The beds are very stiff and the medina is noisy and full op young men bothering you constantly trying to sell you drugs. If you got thin skin and forgot your earplugs i would nor recomend. We left in a hurry and did not know where to put the glass trash.

Exciting and colorful

The 4 story apartment was just as pictured. Sitting in the living areas was like being inside ‘I Dream of Genies’ bottle! The location was very convenient to the busy markets and downtown. Views from the rooftops were incredible! The only negatives was the noise at night…kids out playing at all hours and since it was Ramadan there were prayers being broadcast constantly over loud speakers and men pontificating all night on the street. But…it was Ramadan. Two men met us at the door and said they were our guides and would protect us and show us the market. We mistakingly assumed that Monique had sent them. They were harmless but took us to their friends shops and restaurants and pretty much took over our evening. We had a wonderful guide the next day. Last thing…pack TP, wipes and wear comfortable shoes!

Wij hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad in het meer dan adéquate en smzaakvol I gericht e huis van Monique. We werden ontvangen door Sidi saidi die ons weg wijs maakte en klaar voor ons stond voor het geval dat we iets nodig hadden. Monique zelf was op af stand ( niet in Tanger ) zeer gastvrij en antwoordde uitgebreid op onze vragen . Dankzij haar, Saidi en de chauffeurs die zij ons aanraadde hebben we een fantastische tijd in Tanger gehad. We hadden nog weken kunnen blijven!

Petite maison au cœur de la vieille ville

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison typique. Attention : adaptée uniquement aux personnes mobiles ! Escaliers sur4 niveaux ! La terrasse surplombant la ville est superbe ! Juste une chose : il y a juste 2 lits de 140 et non 3 comme indiqué initialement sur le descriptif .

Séjour inoubliable

Nous avons eu énormément de plaisir à découvrir Tanger depuis cette petite maison typique et charmante au cœur de la Médina. Nous nous sommes sentis chez nous... L’emplacement de la maison a l’entrée de la Kasbah, l’accueil de Saidi, la vie quotidienne marocaine depuis la terrasse a été un enchantement ! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir :)

We had a great time at this property. The location was convenient to the medina. Our host was very helpful in arranging a late night taxi pickup on our arrival. Lunch at the nearby Salon Bleu was delicious, as were all of the other nearby restaurants we visited. The roof top patio offers respite from the day's heat. The only downside was the noise at night. We were there in the summer and apartment is at an intersection where neighbors gather and talk until ~2am

Vacances bruyantes.

Maison typique et bien conçue ce sera que les points positifs. Les points négatifs sont : accès véhicule impossible prévoir 15 bonnes minutes de marche, environnement très très bruyant jusque très tard dans la nuit prévoir boules quies. La télévision ne fonctionne pas, l'une des chasse d'eau coule et la salle de bain finie en piscine après la douche, le réfrigérateur ne refroidit pas assez. Pour conclure médina oui pour la visite mais pas pour l'hébergement.
