Het is een heel gezellig en net chalet met een schitterend uitzicht. Contact met de host opnemen lukte niet na een “pech op de weg” waardoor we later aankwamen. Maar de eigenaar was bijzonder behulpzaam en vriendelijk, we mochten een dag langer blijven om voor onze verloren vakantiedag te compenseren.

Chalet confortable et très bien équipé

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le chalet et ses environs. C'est un endroit où nous sommes prêts à retourner. Attention toutefois car il est peu propice aux personnes qui se déplacent en voiture (ce n'est pas notre cas) ou qui ont des difficultés à marcher (bébés et personnes à mobilité réduite s'abstenir). A part ça, impeccable !

Nice house. Fully equiped.

The Chalet Olga is a very nice house at the edge of the village. It is fully equiped, complete kitchen etc. We had a stay in february and fortunately we could use the 'upper' road to unpack the car. The stairs to the house require good shoes in wintertime. We were well informed about this and other aspects of the house and stay. Thank you very much Nicole for the hospitality of your cosy chalet.

Outside paths needed clearing

Beautiful views and a charming chalet. Our main problem would be that we were not aware of the access down to the chalet. The steps were steep and totally overgrown with long grass. We slipped many times and it was incredibly difficult to carry luggage up and down them. It was also nearly impossible to carry the huge bin liner filled with linen which was given to us on arrival down these steps! The same for where the car park was allocated as the walk down and up was also overgrown and difficult. The table outside was unkempt and we decided not to use it. I would recommend that the access paths be mentioned on the website as people need to be aware of the difficulty, but trimming the grass on these steps should be done regularly.

I’m really sorry for the inconvenience, but if you told me about the grass and the table on your arrival I would have solved the problem immediately as I did for the TV set. Anyway I will complain with the agency because they disn’t have the grass cut as requested. On the website, it’s written (in french) that it takes a 5 minutes walk from the car park to the chalet by a rather steep path. I acknowledge that reaching the chalet is not completely easy but I think the peacefulness of the place is worth the effort! Nevertheless, I still hope you could have enjoyed your holliday.

Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub in diesem schönen und gemütlichen Chalet. Die Ausstattung im Haus ist sehr gut, geniale Idee die Holzliege auf der Terrasse und sehr praktisch der regionale Urlauberpass. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein großes Dankeschön an den Vermieter.

Lovely chalet, lovely village and valley.

Very nice, cosy, quiet chalet. My husband and I stayed for 10 days in September and had a wonderful time. The views from the veranda across and down the valley are lovely. Lots of equipment, especially in the kitchen. Saint Luc is a very pleasant village, it has a medium sized supermarket with everything you need, including several restaurants and a few bars. Val d'Anniviers has lots of things to do, and it is only 25 minutes drive to a larger town Sierre where there are lots more facilities. There are several cable cars/gondolas and plenty of walking opportunities, but it is still beautiful and quiet. Nicole (the owner) was extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I would definately recommend Chalet Olga!

Magnifique séjour à St-Luc

Magnifique chalet avec cheminée meublé simplement. Situation avec vue et très calme dans les hauteurs du village. Attention à l'accès qui peut être difficilw en hiver pour les personnes âgées peu sportives.

Séjour très agréable dans un chalet chaleureux avec une vue imprenable. Très bien situé au pied de nombreuses balades, ce qui compense la difficulté d'accès en voiture. Petit bémol niveau literie (un peu dure à notre goût,ce qui reste très subjectif). Excellent contact avec les propriétaires.

"Séjour du 21/07/12 au 04/08/12. Chalet idéalement situé à la lisière de la forêt, au calme car en haut du village. Bien équipé. Contact avec les propriétaires aisé et cordial. Plusieurs randonnées au départ du pas de la porte ou moyennant une quinzaine de minutes de voiture (Zinal). Parfait pour partir tôt le matin et éviter le rush (toutefois modéré) sur les sentiers, la chaleur estivale et les orages. Vue imprenable sur le val et bonne orientation. Fromages du val (tomme, sérac et raclette) à déguster absolument."

"Second séjour dans ce sympathique et chaleureux chalet bien équipé (cheminée très appréciée), cette fois dans un ambiance très, très hivernale avec de fortes chutes de neige ! Nous avons apprécié de pouvoir revenir au chalet à ski. Neige excellente et très peu de monde sur les pistes ! Adorable village et propriétaire très cordial. Nous reviendrons.
