Thank you so much, Justin! We’re really glad the cabin was a great fit for your family and that everything met your expectations. We truly appreciate you staying with us and hope to host you again sometime!
OMG a little slice of heaven. The kids and adults had a blast in the pond. They were able to swim, fish, kayak, and paddle board . The house is very nice. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, plenty of towels and towels for the hot tub. There was coffee for the coffee maker and plenty of games for our family to play. Bathrooms were fully stocked with TP. It was very homey and the outside was phenomenal.
We loved our stay! Perfect spot to relax after hiking in Hocking Hills State Park. Our family of 5 and our dachshund had plenty of space to spread out in the different living spaces-basement, loft, and main floor. The kids enjoyed all of the board games and Pac-Man! The hot tub was great in the snow, but would love to come back again and enjoy in warmer weather!

Thank youShelby! We’re so happy to hear you loved your stay and that the whole family (including your pup!) had room to spread out and relax. Glad the games and Pac-Man were a hit, and that you enjoyed the hot tub in the snow—such a unique experience! Hope to welcome you back again soon, especially in the warmer months!
Property has great amenities! Only thing I could think to add is a drying rack for dishes! Ha…which is so minor! The towel warmer was a great addition!
This was the perfect size house for my family, check in was okay, would have liked getting in earlier than 4pm seeing how I paid for a full day but only allowed 8 hrs the first day. It was well equipped with all the necessities for my family. The rooms worked well, the only issue were the mattresses, they need to be replaced as they sink in the center of the beds… 2 rooms and 2 of the bunk beds. Fishing was the best part of our stay along with the Hot Tub (needs updating) all systems worked well. Overall, it was a great getaway, my grandkids loved their time!
Had everything we needed to cook and entertain our family. Loved the different rooms for the kids to enjoy. We also enjoyed the fire pit and the chill vibes of relaxing next to the lake and in the hot tub.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Lisa! We really appreciate you coming back and making this your getaway spot. Can’t wait to have you and your friends again next year!
We stayed here to celebrate the New Year with some friends. The house was very secluded and sat on a large amount of property, which was great and gave us a lot of privacy. The kitchen was fully stocked and the grill was easy to use, making cooking an ease. There was also fast Wi-Fi with complimentary TV, which we used to watch football. Greg was very interactive in the chat and ensured that we were always satisfied and was always eager to answer any questions we had. Would highly recommend staying here!

Stay was great! Fire alarm certainly works as I never burnt any of our food but went off every time I cooked.

Glad you enjoyed your stay! Sorry about the fire alarm it wasn't well placed and the heat the stove gives off tends to set it off. I'll work on a solution!

Why they chose this property
Back in 1989, my parents bought this property when I was a year old. When it was bought, a name just could not be agreed upon, so it simply became known as The Place! I have been going down to this property my entire life and have some of my best memories there.
When my dad passed in 2005, I inherited the property. In 2011, I tore down and rebuilt half of the home and renovated the other half. It is a place that I absolutely love and am thrilled to be able to share it with others.
What makes this property unique
The Place is truly unique. There are not many places where you can find such a secluded, private home with two large private ponds as well as fantastically relaxing views and wildlife.
