Ski Vacation in Allemond/Vaujany

Very simple but cozy place for our ski holidays. It is the perfect place to enjoy winter sports far from the most turist and crowded places. It is only 15 min drive from the Vaujany ski resort, and it is well suited for a family with many kids. The host is always reachable and kind.

Fijne tijd gehad in dit authentieke huis. Je verblijft in de onder verdieping van een woonhuis. Verwacht geen luxe, maar wel een zeer gastvrije eigenaar die je overal bij wil helpen. Buiten is een klein grasveldje weer je heerlijk in de zon of schaduw kunt zitten. Rust is het belangrijkste kenmerk dat bij dit huis past; ons gezin (2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen 1 & 4 jaar) hebben daar heerlijk van genoten.

Perfect activity base

Stayed here on a cycling holiday and would undoubtedly recommend it. The house is rustic but well equipped, with a full set of cooking equipment and plenty of hot water. The wood stove is a nice touch as well, helping keep the place warm overnight. The beds upstairs were particularly comfy as well. All in all it's a perfect place to base yourself if you plan to be busy as it is within easy reach of many famous ski resorts and cycling routes. Gilles, the owner, was particularly helpful and dropped in midweek to check we were happy with the house. He was also very useful in planning our shopping and knows the area very well. This is an excellent choice if you're looking for a simple place to stay and are happy to be independent.

I stayed here in a group of 4 keen cyclists hoping to conquer some of the Alps. When we turned up we only knew of two or three climbs and had thought of doing nothing else nor how to get there. Giles was incredibly helpful; gave us his cycling specific map he made of the area and his recommendations for unknown climbs were fantastic. We found tougher climbs than Alpe D'Huez and more picturesque than Col du Glandon thanks to him. The house was ideally located for cyclists/hikers/walkers. The house was large and quaintly decorated with adequate cooking equipment and kitchen to ensure you can cook a 4 course meal. It also had a great shed for the bikes and a nice fireplace. Would love to return!

Great!

I stayed here as a party of 4. There was plenty of space for us all to sleep/relax comfortably. The kitchen equipment provided is excellent. The house is away from the road in a small hamlet so is very quiet. There is a stream at the end of the garden which is a great place to relax. We were on a cycling holiday and it took us around 40 minutes by bike to reach Bourg D'Oisans and the foot of Alpe D'Huez. Gilles is a keen cyclist and was able to provide us with a very helpful map of the area and some local tips. Gilles was a great host and went above and beyond what you would expect. He even drove us into Bourg d'Oisans so we could get some shopping! The house was perfect for us and if I ever return to the area I know where I will be staying!

Très bon séjour

La Maison d'Olle est idéale pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis,vue magnifique,pièces spacieuses,située loin de la route donc beaucoup de calme c'est parfait pour se reposer.Nous avons beaucoup apprécié avec les enfants ( 5ans et 12 mois) l'équipement mis à notre disposition à savoir des paires de raquette ainsi que des luges. Propriétaire très à l'écoute et répondant présent si besoin est... Nous sommes très satisfaits et envisageons dors et déjà d'y retouner cet hiver...
