The shades of blue and green from the outside and the warm summer colors of the interior, in a space full of soul designed for the owners to spend some of their leisure moments on one of the most beautiful beaches in the country.
In this new paradigm the doors also open for those who want to work in peace, clearing the view by looking out the window.
Here we fall asleep listening to the sea, wake up with the seagulls and the beach, that invites us for long walks.
Surf lovers have a spot right in front and those who want to learn, have a school in the condo, where there are suits and surfboards for renting as well.
A few meters away, you can find a mini market with essential goods and a terrace for a good breakfast, light meals and a cold beer in the late afternoon.
Nearby we have good restaurants where fish and seafood are known for its freshness and quality.
Peniche (3 kms away), has everything a small town can offer, in addition to the picturesque environment that fishing gives.
This region of the country has the particularity of associating fishing and rurality and now has a new dynamic that surfing has impressed. For the golf lovers there are also, great courts nearby.

Perfectly located, awesome sea views.

As a surfing family, we were pleasantly surprised with the house because of the location. It is right in front of a high tide surf break that is a little mellower than the Lagide break next to it. Both can be seen from the bedroom. Nothing better than checking out the surf from your bedroom!

Favorite Location in Portugal

We had a realy great time. The appartment is very nice, clean and just a few steps away from the ocean. The garden has a barbeque and also enough place for chilling, sunbathing and for the kids to play around. I like surfing and so it is very nice to have a balcony to do the swell check every morning. We will spend our holiday this year again in Peniche at this location!

We had a realy great time. The appartment is very nice, clean and just a few steps away from the ocean. Beautiful vacation destination

We spent 2 weeks family vacation in the exclusive located apartment with direct access to the sea. The apartment was very clean and well equipped from bathroom to kitchen with dish washer and laundry. The community pool was very often used by our children and very much appreciated. Further, several surf spots are within 3-7 minutes walk, which was perfect for morning surf sessions. Also Lisboa and other attractions are within 30-90 minutes drive. All family member have enjoyed the time in Baleal and region. We can recommend the locaton very much.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Die drei Tage am Meer waren traumhaft. In ein paar Minuten ist man am Strand. Helena war jederzeit erreichbar und die Kommunikation mit ihr perfekt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Appartement vieillissant, mal entretenu

Appartement calme très bien situé près de la mer. L'appartement a souffert de l'humidité ambiante permanente (forte odeur de moisi dans la maison). La cuisine est mal équipée (lave-vaisselle très bruyant, micro-ondes inutilisable, casseroles en très mauvais état). L'appartement n'était pas nettoyé avant notre arrivée : vitres des fenêtres très sales, joint du frigo moisi, intérieur du micro-onde sale, séchoir pour le linge rouillé (remplacé par la propriétaire à notre demande). Nous étions très déçus par cette location et nous n'y reviendrons probablement pas.

spacieux et idéalement placé

Nous avons passé une semaine dans l'appartement. La vue océan est extraordinaire, la présence de jardins aussi. Cela permet à de jeunes enfants de s'amuser et aux adultes de faire un barbecue ou de faire des repas à l'extérieur. La situation géographique est idéale, des sentiers de promenades avec accès à la plage à moins de 50m sont bien accessibles. L'appartement est très spacieux, bien équipé, joliment décoré. les chambres à l'étage permettent de pouvoir respecter la tranquillité des uns sans empêcher les autres de continuer à passer d'agréables moments au salon et à la cuisine en rez de chaussée. Helena, (la propriétaire) a toujours était disponible pour nous répondre si besoin. il y a de grandes chances que l'on revienne!!

Uma casa de Sonho num dos melhores spots de surf

De facto foi uma excelente experiência acordar e ver a praia. A casa proporciona a calma necessária para um fim de semana de surf, praia e amigo. Com uma excelente decoração e acima de tudo muito bem cuidada. Foram os detalhes que fizeram também diferença, uma aparelhagem com uma óptima selecção musical, TV, cozinha ampla e uma sala espectacular e muito bem decorada. A voltar de certeza absoluta… Internet (é só ir ao café do lado - Buzio :) )

Wunderschönes Haus in herrlicher Lage

Wir sind in den Osterferien als Familie mit zwei Schulkindern zum Wellenreiten nach Peniche/Baleal gereist. Schlichtweg begeistert waren wir von Helenas Haus mit Meerblick. Es war in tadellosem Zustand und bietet, alles, was man braucht. Außerdem ist es sehr geräumig und wirklich hübsch eingerichtet und liegt in einer schönen grünen Anlage lärmgeschützt von der Straße. Der Blick auf das Meer ist grandios. In dem einen Schlafzimmer ist zum Einschlafen nur das Meeresrauschen zu hören. Die Jungs haben den Garten mit Begeisterung zum Kicken genutzt. Die Vermieterin ist überaus zuvorkommend und flexibel. Wir sind nachts angereist, alles kein Problem. Verschiedene Surfspots sind zu Fuß zu erreichen, genauso wie ein Supermarkt und verschiedene Restaurants. Wir waren erst zum zweiten Mal in Portugal und haben diese Region gleich in unser Herz geschlossen. Die Menschen sind freundlich, die Landschaft herrlich und nicht hoffnungslos verbaut. Helenas Haus empfehlen wir gerne weiter. Auch wir werden sicherlich wieder herkommen! Obrigada Helena!

"Grand appartement duplex très agréablement décoré et lumineux. Il est parfaitement situé avec une jolie vue sur la mer. Au bout du jardin, un petit sentier descend jusqu''à la plage. Si vous aimez la nature, c''est un endroit parfait pour de longues et splendides promenades le long de la mer. C''est également une plage de surfeurs avec de nombreuses écoles à proximité (dont une juste à coté de la maison ou j''ai pris mes cours sous les conseils de madame Furtado. Je vous les conseille vivement. http://www.dropsurfcenter.com/# madame Furtado, la propriétaire, était disponible avant et pendant le séjour pour des conseils, infos,... Avec une voiture de location, les villes de sintra, lisboa, obidos sont facilement accessible. Un séjour parfait!!!!! "

I have always loved nature and above all the sea and deserted beaches.
Baleal is one of the few beaches where on a few walks, even in mid-summer, we can be alone and feel the magical atmosphere that surrounds us. I am a psychologist living in Lisbon and my life has some very stressful moments. I escape to Baleal by the sea to ground myself.The soothing sound of the sea rocking me to sleep and the salty smell of the tide and the algae in the morning help me to cope with manic days in the city. I also love to dine on seafood or fresh fish accompanied by a fine wine and often take advantage of the great prices on offer in the area.

Why they chose this property

Baleal is one of the most stunning beaches in the country with soft, white sands and clear waters.The natural scenery, the sweet smell of the tide, and the locals' simple friendliness are typical of this rural, fishing region and give it a special charm.Young surfers from all over the world give colour and liveliness to the beach. Here you can go on long walks through areas where your sole companions will the sea gulls and the waves. I have come on holidays to Baleal since I was little. It is still my favourite beach and is a big part of my life and now that of my daughters too who started bodyboarding from a young age here.

What makes this property unique

It is a privilege to be so close to non-polluted waters and a large beach, not to mention the wonderful fish.
