Rasina House is situated in a stunning position at 500 mt of altitude over the Tuscan hills of Cortona, which give the house a fantastic and unique panoramic view. Rasina is an ancient rural house that has been recently restored strictly using traditional materials, in accordance with the typical building typologies of the area. The house, which lies 8km away from Cortona town center, is surrounded by woods and olive trees terraces, ideal places for enchanting excursions and walks.

Rasina House is composed of 4 bedrooms, all with a fabulous view, for a maximum of 8 people (1 double bed, 6 single beds). It has 4 bathrooms, 1 living room, 1 large kitchen, 1 dining room and a veranda, all furnished in a perfect rural style. There is also a beautiful 'infinity edge' pool with a panoramic view on the valley. The house is also supplied with an hybrid heating system (solar+diesel), air condition, a large typical fireplace, TV, Wi-Fi Internet connection, washing machine, dish washer, electric oven and wood-fired oven.

Perfect stay in the hills of Tuscany

We hugely enjoyed our time in Casa Rasina, a spacious villa situated in the Tuscan hills close to Cortona, withn a unique view (from the infinity pool :)) on the plain and the surrounding hills.

Excellebt remote location, stunning views, nice spacious property, stunning swimming pool - added bonus of EV charger on site. Air conditioning in bed rooms was a welcome releif from the heat but not very effective, only reducing rooms to 27 degrees overnight and a couple bits of the property need a bit of maintenance but the owners are amazing, really responsive and willing to fix any issue. Would absolutely stay here again! Dog owners should note there is a footpath leading to the rear of the property that mountain bikers like to use and then cut through the grounds of the property

Stunning Views and Location

This is a stunning property, very spacious, well furnished and enjoying spectacular views. The bedrooms are all large and with spacious en-suite bathrooms and there is plenty of space to relax. Outside is a beautiful pool that is very clean and plenty large enough. But the best aspect of the property is it’s location. The views are stunning and you can really enjoy the peace and quiet. On arrival we were met at an agreed rendezvous 2km from the property by the owner who lead us to the final destination. To get to the property you climb a track through the hillside forest and emerge at a clearing with spectacular views. I would certainly recommend the property and the owners for a great holiday. We all had a great time.

Beautiful Property in an Excellent Location

My wife and I selected this property for our Tuscany stay during our Italy honeymoon. It was absolutely beautiful. The property was well-equipped, clean, and extremely comfortable. The view was beyond anything we could have ever hoped for, and it was easy to travel to and from the house. If you stay here, you need a car. It would be very difficult to navigate back and forth without one!

Stay in a beautiful house on the hill in a stunning location

We enjoyed a very pleasant two weeks in the Casa Rasina together with our dog. The Casa Rasina built with native construction materials is situated in a quite unique location and offers incredible views into the distance. Being an ideal starting point to visit the close areas of famous wineries and cultural locations in Tuscany and Umbria. The stunning property is very spacious, equipped with elegant antique furniture and a classic Pizza oven in the kitchen. The infinity pool has a high quality and the pool area is a perfect place for relaxing. For our next stay it would be great to have a flexible garden table and chairs with pillows to sit comfortable anywhere in the garden. Thank very much to Fiorenzo and Francesco della Rosa to be on standby for addressability in case of assistance and for the opportunity to spent a restful holiday in Casa Rasina.

Very Nice Holiday

The Pictures on the site are not even showing how beautifull it is. Our communication with the owner was great and fast. Our check in was exactly on time and the house was really clean. If i really have to find and search for something negative then the pool should be heated with solar. Thanks Alot from our whole family.

Privately located in the hills

We have just returned from our stay at Casa Rasina and we enjoyed every day! The villa was exactly as described in the internet, and particularly the view was just breathtaking. Geweldig uitzicht, superleuk verblijf!

Zowel de ligging als het huis zelf zijn echt de moeite waard. Het huis is groot, kamers dik in orde, airco werkt heel goed en heel goede bedden! De weg naar het huis is wat hobbelig en je rijdt wel een aantal minuten de berg op voor je er bent maar het is helemaal de moeite waard! Een aanrader! De communicatie met Francesco verliep ook vlekkeloos!

Stunning property!

We loved our time here. The location is beyond belief. We felt so lucky to wake up to such an amazing view every morning. The house is very secluded and private and offers incredible views looking down from the hillside. The house is strategically located in an area that allows for easy day trips to many of Tuscany's popular tourist destinations. There is about an 8 minute drive up some very steep gravel roads to reach the house that was intimidating at first but was well worth the trip. Also, it would be recommended to stock up on food and essentials prior to arrival as the options for markets in close proximity are sparse. We were traveling with 2 toddlers and a small dog and found the house to be well suited to all our accommodate everyone. We'd highly recommend this place for those looking for a private getaway in the countryside.

An outstanding spot to enjoy your privacy

When you start screening you next holiday object in the internet of course you highly rely on the images and visual impressions you get. And usually you should better reduce your expectations to not be disappointed in the end. BUT Casa Rasina will surprise you. The pictures even can’t catch the full beauty of that place ! It is a very spacy house (app 450sqm), very well equipped with nice local style dark wood furniture. The furniture is in good shape and partly does not look used at all. Casa Rasina has 4 nice bathrooms (1 smaller, 3 large) and its showers offer quickly much and warm water. The kitchen is large and we enjoyed baking our own pizza in the wood oven. But the unique and outstanding thing is the location on the hill with the super nice view down to the valley. You have this nice view from everywhere in the house and also from the pool area. The pool is high quality with infinity rim which also keeps out all flying insects. it’s the perfect place to chill. If you have a dog you will enjoy many options to walk around the area and discover the wild nature around. The house offers full privacy. Even if you might discover on Google Maps that there is a house close by. Firstly this house seems not to be in use, secondly it is completely isolated from the rest. You can’t see it and you will never see someone from there. The communication with Francesco was prefect right from the beginning of the booking. And although he needs to manage the house remotely from Milano there’s Silvio taking care on anything if you need support. He is the "friendly heart“ of the area and really caring on demand. We took over a super tidy and clean house and the team cleaned it after one week again. Thanks a lot Francesco for that nice holiday. We will „apply" again for a stay in some future time ! Best regards from Munich, Claudia, Ralf + Kids + dog One recommendation for shopping: You really do not need to drive to the big shopping center in Cortona/Camucia. There is a small family owned store in Pergo (direction Cortona on the right side). It looks very small, but they have really everything you need and still to reasonable prices. wonderfull stay in Resina House

we had a fantastic stay in this beautiful house. Spring time was coming and we enjoyed walking around, the landscape and the daily sunset. Everything was perfect. Cortona city is not far away and beautiful. We will go again. Suzanne and Carlos from PARIS

Stunning location and a fine house

Casa Rasina is situated in a quite unique location with breath-taking views and is very private. The drawback of the location is the access road, which is effectively a 500m rutted track. A car with reasonable ground clearance is preferable, though we didn't need the use of a 4x4. We enjoyed a very pleasant two weeks here, the house being quite large with the chances for our party to come together or be apart as we wished. We found that the soft seating in the living room was unusable and quite unacceptable at this price point, which was a bit of a drawback as we didn't have the very best of weather and often needed to be indoors. Fiorenzo and Francesco Della Rosa could not have been more attentive. A thunderstorm took out the electricity supply to the water system, which they fixed within an hour of calling them, likewise a problem with the (fast) internet connection during our stay. The bed linen and towels were changed at the end of the first week and the house cleaned. Many promise this service but our experience is that few deliver, a real plus point for the owners. The barbecue is well worth trying, especially as the meat and fish in this region are so good. Tuscan sausages and rib eye steak were favourites. The local amenities are very good, though you do have to negotiate the access road to get to the shops and empty the bins. Special mention here for Locanda Del Molino and Corte Dei Papi, two local restaurants in the valley below the house.

Schoener und entspannter Urlaub

Wir hatten einen sehr schoenen Urlaub in einem tollen Haus. Die Betreuung und Abwicklung durch Francesco und seine Mitarbeiter wahr sehr zuvorkommend. Das Haus selbst hat einen wunderschoener Lage mit TOP-Ausstattung. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Luxury villa near Cortona

Rasina is a wonderful place for families with children and friends travelling together. A three story residence with an infinity pool overlooking the Arezzo province. In the hot weather the swimming pool kept the kids happy while the easy access to various vineyards kept the adults happy. We highly recommend the Ristorante I Girasoli Di Sant' Andrea in Umbria (20 minutes from the villa). The kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances and a wood burning pizza oven enabling us the opportunity to cook / bake fresh ingredients obtained from abundant farmer's markets. Furnishings and bedrooms were clean and comfortable with old world charm. Abundant bathrooms - 4! - and a giant sitting room giving everyone in our party ample space. We enjoyed communicating with Francesco who co-manages the property. A lovely man who was available to us at any time needed. Sad to say goodbye. We will definitely return!

Hidden beauty

If you want to get away from it, then this is the place for you. Perched high in the Tuscan hills with an amazing view, it would be hard to find anything like the Racina House. Very well equipped house with excellent wifi and a covered outdoor eating area that makes for a idyliic meal experience. With the heatwave that hit Italy during our stay, air conditioning and the beautiful pool made all the difference. Had a couple small issues that were attended to right away by the owners.
