Another great stay at the Weldon Farm Cabin. Plenty of room and everything worked perfect. Host Dan was super responsive to any questions prior to and during our stay. Looking forward to the next stay!

Peace and Tranquility AboundWe loved staying at the Weldon Farm. Peace and tranquility abound. The daytime sky full of sun,the night sky produces beautiful stars. The view looking out into the green rolling countryside with the 2 ponds is outstanding! Even better, when night arrives the frogs sing proudly. We also saw a woodchuck and rabbits. The farm was great with a comfortable couch and bed.The kitchen was well equipped. Dan was very accommodating by helping us out of our difficult situation. He is great to work with!

Spacious and comfortable

This was our second stay with Dan and, like the first, it was wonderful! He was very flexible with dates as we had to make some almost last minute changes which he was very accommodating with. The Eagels Nest was very clean with plenty of room for our party. Looking forward to our stay next spring already!

Great getaway!

Very relaxing, lots of room inside and out. Nice views with picnic tables scattered throughout. Traeger available. They even supplied a cookbook for it. I can't say enough good things. Definitely worth a repeat stay.

Family weekend

We stayed for the weekend. The house was beautiful. It was the perfect size for our family of 5. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and making smores at our fire. The property was so pretty. We are hoping to make it a yearly tradition.

Country Stay at it's best

We rented both houses for our group who was in the area for a wedding. It worked out great for us and we have no major complaints. We loved the space and would have loved even more time at the property. It was also hot and muggy so it was much more appealing to stay inside in the air conditioning. The owner was VERY accommodating and helpful!

Remote peaceful location in the heart of Iowa

This location was quiet and peaceful and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed some of the nearby restaurants and walking trails. There are two ponds, only one seemed suitable for using the kayaks, and it was plenty big! There was also covered seating areas to enjoy nature and a large fire pit. Google Maps took all of us to the wrong location but it was only a few miles off, do double check your final destination before leaving to assure your GPS will get you there. The home itself was clean and had adequate space for all of us. I loved that there were fans in each room, as well as extra pillows and bedding. Everything was great. Would stay again!

Another great stay

A little mix-up initially but got that straightened out quickly. It's a trek to get there but that's true country. Caught and released lots of fish. Saw plenty of deer and raccoon. Don't forget to look up at the millions of stars.
