Wonderful stay in Venice

Donatella was great welcoming me into the apartment with excellent directions and checking in. The place is just as pictured and very well equipped with everything you will need. If you like to cook you will not be disappointed. Venice is right at your feet with wonderful restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay here again.

Very spacious and clean home with a large outdoor patio to relax and drink wine. Lots of information of what to do and where to eat. Owner was very friendly and knowledgeable with anything you want to know. Thanks for the wonderful stay and lots of great memories!

Fantastic location, Fantasitc host

Wow! A fantastic location, steps from Piazza San Marco. Easy to find, despite those famous maze-like Venice alleyways! Donatella was an amazing host. She was quick to respond to my multiple inquiries, especially when there were some unexpected delays to my arrival time. Her instructions on navigating alleyways to find the location, check in and check out were super clear. Highly recommend!!

Great Property

This is a great property, wonderful location (literally 2 minutes to st mark’s basilica/doges palace. In the heart of everything. The apartment is spacious and wonderfully appointed. Donatella was a gracious and helpful host. Would 100% stay here again.

Best VRBO so far

This was the third VRBO we have stayed at, all top rated. Donatella offers the best of the three. The cleanliness, expanse, furnishings, supplies, location are lovely. The kitchen is well supplied and spacious and well lit. There is 1 1/2 bathrooms. Donatella was always available and very helpful. We would stay again. Thank you,Donatella for everything.

Pleasant stay in Venice

Apartment was very nice in an excellent location just outside San Marco square. Easy walk to sites and restaurants. Donatella was helpful and patient as we missed our flight connection from Rome, arriving 4 hours later than expected. Certainly will stay again when in Venice.

Great communication and location

If we are ever in Venice again we will stay here again. Great cimmunication with host, prime location, easy in and out access. Host was a great help with local transit options. Cant recommend enough.

Great spot near San Marco

Comfortable and close to everything. Tiny street but directions and a review of Google maps got us there without trouble. Donnatella was a perfect host giving us valuable information from the first day. Perfecto!

Wonderful host, lovely home

From start to finish, Donatella was warm and helpful. Her home is lovely and more well-furnished than we've had before: kitchen items, towels, extra pillows and blanket. Lots of space. Perfect location. I would recommend this home to anyone going to Venice.

We enjoyed our short stay in Casa Lombardo very much ! Very central situated, in the shadow of San Marco, the appartement is large, very charming and has everything you could think of. Even Wellingtons for the not unlikely event of Aqua Alta … We can highly recommend this nice place as a perfect base for exciting days in La Serenissima Daniel & Marie

Brilliant host and exceptional apartment

We loved staying here. The apartment is literally 2 minutes from San Marco and is very well situated for super markets, cafes, restaurants. The space was really clean and tidy and there was everything we needed; from loo roll, olive oil to herbal tea. The host was easy to communicate with and we had all the info we needed. We would both stay here again!

Wonderful and convenient!

Everything from Donatella's communications, directions and advice, through to the apartment's location a stones throw from Campo San Marco couldn't have been better. Facilities in the apartment were superb. Just like a home from home! Feel like a local, not just a tourist. Highly recommended.

Amazing location! authentic property!

Donatella met us at the apartment and explained everything. She was also extremely responsive. The apartment was clean and comfortable and in an amazing location just steps from St Marks Square. It was a great find.
