A beautifully refurbished, centuries old stone house located on a working farm, but a quiet setting with no other neighbours, except the very pleasant owner, Cecile, who leaves you to enjoy it all in privacy. Very secure.
We loved our stay in this charming private villa on a beautiful active vineyard. The villa/cottage has everything needed to make it feel like home. We enjoyed cooking up our purchases from markets in the evening. The beds and bathroom are comfortable, and everything was clean and in nice condition. It was also helpful to have a washing machine The host, Cécile is friendly, welcoming, and helpful, communicating before and during our stay. The location was perfectly centralized for traveling to many of the most desirable towns by car. The town of Tarascon doesn’t have much to offer, so we needed to make the most of our trips out before returning to the villa. What a gorgeous place with so much to offer in nature, history, ambience, and markets! We didn’t want to leave!
Great house with lovely garden and view, very Provence feel. Great location to explore a wide area of Provence. Great communication with the lovely owner. Highly recommend!
Cecile has in this perfectly located house a part of Paradise. It is aqn honest proposal, authentic, and her disposal to make the stay great is top. I definetely recommend this for a peaceful stay in this part of Provence. Perfect to visit the area from Avignon to Camarge.

Beautiful, clean, well-appointed cottage with a friendly and helpful host. Excellent location to explore the area.
Wonderful setting on a large vineyard and apricot farm. We chose this location as our home base for a 2 week vacation in Provence. We wanted to be halfway between Arles and Avignon, and drove all over Provence from here as well. Host Cécile is delightful. She offered us complete privacy and autonomy - the entrance and parking spot amongst the cypress trees are private - but we wanted to meet her and so glad that we did! Fascinating history and stories, and we learned how a vineyard works. C’était un séjour très agréable! Merci beaucoup!
My group of 4 friends stayed in this Tarascon house in the heart of Provence. It was perfect and the air conditioning was very welcoming after a long day of visiting nearby villages and towns. Cecile was a lovely host, and we really enjoyed exploring the area.
We had an amazing stay at this peaceful and beautiful VRBO rental. The place is perfect for unwinding, surrounded by nature. Cécile, the host, was super easy to communicate with and always quick to respond.
The location is fantastic for exploring the area. We loved visiting the Pont du Gard aqueduct—perfect spot for a picnic by the water. Also, don't miss dining at La Maison Penchée. The food is delicious, and their outdoor patio is lovely.
Overall, this rental is a gem. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway and as a great base for local adventures. Thanks, Cécile!
Cécile was a lovely host, and her home was just perfect for us traveling with two children. The house is very comfortable. The surrounding area is tranquil and relaxing, yet very easily accessible to attractions in and around Provence. Highly recommend!
My friends and I stayed here for three nights while we explored the Provence region. The location was great to explore nearby towns. Cecile was an excellent host! The house was very clean and comfortable. We walked the property and admired her family's residence for many generations. We will be back!

The property is beautiful. It is in front of a big vineyard, so is peaceful and quiet.
We had a lovely stay. Cecile recommended great places for us to go which was really helpful. The house was exactly like the photos described and it was nice and clean and had all the things we happened to need, so it was well furnished. It is safe for children, and it is peaceful. I felt very happy with the rental.
Lovely characterful Provencal house in perfect location for visiting the local towns and villages, Arles, Saint Remy de Provence and Pont du Gard, all within easy driving distance.
The house was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our 4 day break.
Cecile was an excellent host, warm, welcoming and gave us plenty of recommendations of places to visit.
It was our first visit to Provence, just perfect and we hope to come back.
Thank you Cecile :)
We had a wonderful time on the property. Cecile was a most wonderful host and provided us with everything we needed and also was very helpful in finding us local restaurants and shops. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with items to make food with and most important, make coffee. Sitting outside sipping wine and watching the sunset was most magnificent! Thank you very much.
We really enjoyed our stay in this cute little property. Cecile was very welcoming and easy to communicate with in French or English, and very accommodating with regards to arranging arrival and departure details. The property had everything we needed for a few relaxing days in the countryside. The little town just down the road (under 5 minutes by car) had a grocery store and all the other shopping we needed to cook for ourselves during our visit. The property was clean and things were as described in the listing. Thanks, Cecile, for such a lovely few days in the French countryside! :)
An ideal location (a working vineyard/farm near Tarascon), a perfect, elegant little house and a generous, welcoming host in. Cécile. As a base from which to explore some of the best Provence has to offer, it’d be hard to beat. And if you’re looking for a place to just stop for a while and breathe in the beauty… this is it. We didn’t want to leave.

Lovely house, great location and super hospitality
We chose this house because it was between the two places we most wanted to visit - Avignon (20 mins drive) and the Camargue (1 hour).
The house was very pleasant, set in a quiet location surrounded by vineyards. The bedrooms were neat and comfortable, the kitchen area was large enough to cook simple meals, and there was enough room in the dining / living area to eat comfortably and relax.
Cécile and her family were very friendly and welcoming, and made us feel at home straight away.
I can definitely recommend this house to anyone who wishes to explore this part of the Provence!

worked well for family; perfect central location to explore
We stayed for 4 nights as a family of 4 (with 2 teens) to visit several spots in the vicinity. The property worked very well for us -- we liked that the 2BR had 2 twin beds for boys vs. sharing a bed (not easy to find). Also appreciated on inside: great AC in the bedrooms... and screens on windows if breeze is blowing want fresh air, nice shower and roomy bathroom that is workable to share for 4 across the stay, kitchen had utensils needed for short stay for making snacks/breakfasts, washing machine with drying rack makes it possible to pack light, outside patio is nice to relax in evening with snack or morning with coffee (great to have coffee maker... was a bit slow to brew... might need some work). WIFI is in unit, but a bit slow for our teen's taste! : ) Only two minor inconveniences on inside is that the toilet is downstairs, so you have to navigate stairs at night to use and seating in the living space is tight for 4 grown people. But overall, it is a great space for four and tastefully done... very much like pictures. Location is very central --- we visited multiple areas all within a 35 min max drive (St Remy, Les Baux, Nimes, Pont Du Gard, Roussillon, Camargue).... there was more we wanted to do and ran out of time... just means we need to go back! Amenities are easy to find -- bakery, butcher, produce market and supermarket are 5 min away by car at entry to Tarascon. St Remy market on Wed is amazing... a must see. Restaurants in St Remy were very good -- favorite was Moulin de Sophie. Give it a try. We appreciated the security of the property ... closed gate at night and set back from main road that passes by so you don't worry about trespassers, you have secure parking for car on site and don't hear road noice. Cecille is a lovely hostess -- met us on arrival for an orientation to property and area. She lives on site and is available if you need her, but not meddling if you don't. Met and exceeded our expectations -- both the property and the area. We hope to return. Thank you Cecille for hosting us!

Perfect Provençale home in the heart of a vineyard.
Would you like to stay in a place once owned by a king that in recent times has been a winery? In the country, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, but five minutes from the nearest town? In a large apartment housed in ancient stone but with all of the modern conveniences? Then stay here!
This is a large apartment on two floors in an old building with thick stone walls, beautifully decorated, very comfortable, with modern amenties. Paintings by Cécile’s artist husband adorn the walls. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower (minus the toilet, which is downstairs). The ground floor has a full kitchen, including full-size refrigerator, a spacious dining area, and a laundry room with washing machine and drying rack. Good Wi-Fi is available.
The apartment is part of a larger compound owned by Cécile’s family. It is rural and peaceful, yet the town of Tarascon is nearby should you need groceries or other supplies. Or an emergency visit to a dentist, which with Cécile’s help was arranged quickly! Tarascon is centrally located and an excellent base for exploring Provence.
Cécile lives next door, in the other half of the same building, with her husband and son. They are quiet; you’d probably never see any them if that were your choice. But you would be missing out. Cécile is a delight. She made us feel as though we were staying at a friend’s house. She is warm and generous; she can speak French or English, or both, as you wish, and she is patient with those of us whose French is primitive. She responds promptly to communications and is happy to help if help is needed.
Within these fine old walls, among the vines, and made to feel at home by our host: we cannot recommend the experience too highly.
Merci beaucoup Cécile. Meilleurs voeux à vous, Dahai et Louis. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable et espérons revenir et avoir le plaisir de vous revoir! Jusque là. Rick et Katherine
