Perfect stay!

A truly beautiful property with excellent facilities. The children enjoyed the large garden and heated pool. A very good location for excursions throughout Provence and Gérard was a perfect host – we would be happy to come back anytime.

Country location, but well connected

This gite is in the countryside, but extremely well located to visit a good number attractions. Just 15 minutes away from Saint Remy, 30 minutes from Avignon and L’Isle sur la Sorge for example. The gite was superbly clean and we found nothing lacking in both the house and especially the kitchen. There was even and ice and cold water facility in the fridge-freezer. We were presented with an array of items (Tomatoes, courgettes, milk, fruit and more). The heated swimming pool was used on a daily basis. The host was welcoming and very helpful. Although the host lived next door we found no issues with privacy. There is road noise that is noticeable when outside the house, but we did not find the noise to be an issue. Highly recommended gite. Well worth a consideration.

The perfect stay in Provence in a peaceful, central location

This is a lovely property in a village (Mollégès, pronounced "Mollegesse") with a wonderfully large Provençal garden with olive trees. The lodge is in fact a 2-bedroomed mas with its own separate entrance and whilst the owner lives next door, it is completely private. The lodging itself is superbly equipped with everything (even olive oil made by the owner!) and has very comfortable beds and overall decor. A large rainforest shower is a bonus, as is the bright Provençal kitchen that enhanced my cooking experience hugely. Our 2 dogs loved exploring the garden and the smells of the aromatic plants everywhere. Mollégès is really well situated for all the activities in Provence, be it hiking or dining or museums or nature etc. Or shopping in the nearby larger cities. The owner is wonderfully attentive and easygoing which made our stay really memorable. I can not recommend it highly enough. Ps the Wi-Fi can be a little too unreliable at times but that's probably a great excuse to switchboard entirely!

Perfect cottage for a nice vacation

My family and I stayed at this house for two weeks. Our kids are in the age 9 to 15, two girls and one boy. The house is perfectly located if you want to explore Provence by car, and the location is exactly as shown on the map on this site. The highway is only 10 min. away at the city Cavaillon where you will find large supermarkets, shopping streets and many nice family-type local restaurants. Close by the house is the small city Mollégès – a wonderful small city with the best backer and butcher you can only dream of. The house you rent is one part of a twin house. Right next to it lives the owners. I would say they do their outmost to stay invisible so you can feel you have it all by yourself. Inside the house is very clean and very tasty modernized. It contains two bedrooms, a kitchen and a large living room. There is one bathroom and one toilet. Outside is a nice terrace with a large gas grill. The pool is located approx. 20 meters from the house. It is very nice and is quite large. It is facing the open fields and fruit trees with mountains in the background. The owner offers you fee access to several good mountain bikes I all sizes. Our kids used them a lot to go around in the fields and explore the area. The owners allowed us to use the vegetables and fruit we could find, which was a lot, and that was a great experience to send out your kids to find tomatoes, onions etc. before cooking. The owners are very friendly and trustful. I can only think of one negative thing, which was the road that is behind the house. It is a smaller road with not that much traffic, but traffic is coming fast and quite noisy. If you are looking for a place where you have 100% privacy with no disturbance at all this house does probably not fit perfectly. On the other hand, if you are looking for a house with all the other qualities this is offering you should definitely consider this house. We had a vacation we will never forget!

Eine tolle Zeit!

Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen im Haus von Gerard verbracht. Nach einer unkomplizierten Kommunikation während der Anreise empfing er uns sehr herzlich und führte uns ins Haus, wo ein großer Korb Gemüse, eine Flasche Wasser, Saft und - vor allem! - eine kühle Flasche Wein für uns bereitstanden. In den Tagen darauf genossen wir das parkartige Grundstück, die schattige Terrasse und den herrlichen Poolbereich, den wir ganz für uns hatten. Im Haus (man ist im Juni in der Provence ja selten drinnen, aber wir erinnern uns dennoch) befinden sich zwei Schlafzimmer mit großzügigen Doppelbetten, ein stilvolles Bad (Toilette separat), eine offene, gut ausgestattete Küche und ein geräumiges Wohn- und Esszimmer, alles durchgehend mit Travertin-Boden ausgelegt. Die liebenswerten Orte der Umgebung wie Arles, St. Rémy, Roussillon, Bonnieux, Ménerbes, Lacoste oder Oppède sind mit dem Auto in 30 bis 45 Minuten zu erreichen. Wir können das Haus von Gerard ohne Einschränkung weiterempfehlen. Merçi beaucoup!

Perfekte Gastgeber in der Provence

Unser Urlaub in der Provence Anfang Oktober 2022 war rundum gelungen - nicht zuletzt dank des gemütlichen und sehr gut ausgestatteten Ferienhauses und der absolut perfekten Gastgeber. Nach der Anreise machten sie uns sogar eine köstliche Quiche und eine Pflaumen-Tarte, da am Sonntagnachmittag die Geschäfte geschlossen hatten. Am Abreisetag waren sie uns bei der Suche nach einer geöffneten Tankstelle sehr hilfreich. Die zehn Tage in dem schönen Haus und auf dem Grundstück mit dem fantastischen Pool konnten wir in aller Ruhe genießen. Die Bilder entsprechen der Realität. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Gerne kommen wir wieder. Vielen, vielen Dank für alles - auch für das Lavendelöl zum Abschied!

Sehr schöner Urlaub

Vielen Dank erstmal an die sehr netten, höflichen und doch diskreten Gastgeber Fabienne und Gerard. Zur Begrüßung bekamen wir einen liebevoll zusammen gestellten Gemüsekorb. Auch aus dem großen Obstgarten durften wir uns bedienen. Alles sehr lecker. Das Ferienhaus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man sich wünscht ( und noch mehr ). Schöne Zimmer, tolles geräumiges Bad, Super ausgestattete Küche und großes helles Wohnzimmer ( mit viel Technik). Die Terrasse war auch sehr schön, haben diese aber wegen den Mücken nur bedingt und mit Räucherschnecken, die uns Fabienne gebracht hat. Der Pool mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen wurde auch täglich gepflegt und von uns ausgiebig genutzt. Die Lage des Hauses ist ideal für sämtliche Ausflugsziele in der Provence. Auch die Ausflugstipps von Fabienne und Gerard waren super und haben sich gelohnt anzusehen. Ausserdem waren sie immer für uns zu erreichen. Nochmals vielen lieben Dank für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

We hebben hier een fantastische week gehad. Gerard was een fantastische gastheer. Bij aankomst een flesje wijn en wat groenten en fruit en we mochten heel de fruit uit de boomgaard plukken. Huis was geweldig en het landgoed en zwembad ook.

Belle région à proximité des Alpilles et beaux villages

Maison agréable dans un grand domaine avec piscine. Une cuisine équipée pour les épicuriens, il y a tout les ustensiles nécessaires. 2 petites chambres et une belle pièce à vivre en plus des extérieurs. Petits bémols, il est important d'avoir une voiture pour se déplacer et la chambre coté route est un peu bruyante. Le propriétaire est discret, disponible et attentionné. Merci pour ce séjour.

Super Urlaub im Herzen der Provence

Das Ferienobjekt ist einfach nur traumhaft: sehr zentrale (und dennoch ruhige) Lage zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Provence, Haus und Bering (Pool 12x6m, riesige Spielwiese mit 2 kleinen Fußballtoren, sehr schöne Bepflanzung (Schatten) ...) lassen keine Wünsche offen, überaus nette und hilfsbereite Besitzer ... Das Objekt ist ideal für ein Familienurlaub zu viert.

Wir haben das Objekt so vorgefunden wie beschrieben. Sehr gute Ausstattung, nette Vermieter. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Technische Ausstattung im Haus ebenfalls sehr gut, mit Gasgrill, Side by Side Kühlgerät etc. Einrichtung gemütlich, und Zweckmäßig, sehr schöner großer Garten, (wirklich groß) toller Pool. Insgesamt eine unseres Erachtens perfekte Anlage die in einem sehr guten Preis- Leistungsverhältnis steht. Wir würden das Haus jederzeit wieder mieten.
