Stay at villa Collbato

We just returned from a lovely stay at villa Collbato. The house is located in a nice quiet area near mount Monserrat. From the pool you have a great view off Montserrat. A great environment for a relaxing pool holiday. Especially our daughter (11) loved having her own private pool. If you like hiking, the area would be great as well. (The weather was too hot for long mountain hikes when we visited) The owner is very attentive and welcoming. Any questions we had, he was always quick to answer. We enjoyed our holiday very much.

Lovely House, Great Location

Pics are accurate: this is a tidy 4-bed, with three double-bedrooms (one smaller than the other two), and then what might otherwise be a large office with four single (folding) beds. These were perfect for my kids aged 11-16. There is a large living room with fireplace (we were here over XMas, so useful), a few sofas, TV, and a dining table which we could fit 9. The kitchen is workable if small--a "two-bum kitchen" Two toilets, one shower. All was clean, tidy, and in good repair. The exterior is large and would be wonderful in the summer, as it was in the winter. There's a very pretty & well-maintained pool which we took an *exciting* polar bear dip into on New Years! There's parking for two cars within the compound, and more on the street. Jordi met us on arrival and departure. He's a lovely, easy-going guy and communicated with us well before and during our stay. He explained (the quite complex) recycling structure in Collbato, which we followed without much trouble. He gave us lots of recommendations of local food & excursions. The location is fabulous. It is right beside the Montserrat massif, and we did amazing hikes up the west face, and then across to the summit at 1,236m. We also went to see the monastery, taking the funicular up most of the elevation. So if you like walking/hiking, its a great spot. The Salnitre Caves were a great visit too--book ahead! Its also close enough to central Barcelona. 30-40min. Parking was easy.

El alojamiento nos ha parecido bastante bien en general pero con algunas cosas a mejorar: La casa esta bien cumple su funcion, las habitaciones son pequeñas y las almohadas un poco finas perl estan agradables, la casa no tenia dvd como indica, las bicis y la zona de la petanca no esta cuidada al igual que la barbacoa que esta un poco vieja. No hay aire acondicionado son ventiladores, pero tampoco pasamos calor.

Un super hôte avec une jolie maison bien équipée dans un joli cadre . La maison est bien située dans un quartier calme à proximité d un petit village avec un supermarché à 1km . Il faut compter 50 minutes pour aller à la plage ou au centre de Barcelone . Une belle randonnée est à faire pour aller à l abbaye en partant de la maison . La maison offre une belle piscine avec du fond de quoi amusait petits et grands mais aussi diverses espaces pour déjeuner , passer la soirée . Les ventilateurs suffisent pour rafraîchir la pièce et passer une bonne nuit . Jordi est toujours disponible en cas de besoin . Je recommande +++++

Nous avons passé 2 semaines dans la maison. Nous étions 2 couples + 2 enfants. Nous sommes satisfaits. La maison a quelques années déjà, mais tout est en ordre de fonctionnement. Et lorsque quelque-chose était cassé le propriétaire était très disponible (WhatsApp) et nous a envoyé quelqu'un rapidement pour intervenir. Le village est chouette, au pied de la montagne et du parc naturel. Il dispose de commodités (courses, équipements) et de 2 restos très sympa. Nous sommes à environ 45 min de Barcelone et des plages. La Iluminacion exterior deficiente, tanto la piscina ( 1 foco) como un farol estaban fundidos. Calor por las noches , aunque habia ventiladores en todas las estancias. La estancia en conjunto ha sido buena , tranquilidad, estupenda piscina y entorno agradable.

Nous avons passé d'agréables vacances. Maison et piscine très propres et très bien entretenues. Hôte disponible et aimable. Il y a des vélos à disposition. Petit bémol : pas de wifi et pas de clim ; il a fait jusqu'à 37° pendant notre semaine. mais il a des ventilateurs dans toutes les pièces. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances. Superbes vacances en famille

La maison est grande et confortable avec un grand jardin et de nombreux coins ombragés tout au long de la journée. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour et les enfants ont bien profité de la piscine. A noter la présence de vélos et de nombreux jeux de société. Sur Collbato: supermarché bien achalandé et marché hebdomadaire le dimanche. Pour les amateurs de randonnée Monastère de Montserrat à 2h de marche (superbes paysages). Propriétaire sympathique, disponible et facile à joindre. Le tout est conforme au descriptif et aux photos. Seul point négatif: les moustiques!

Maison simple et confortable très bien située

La maison est mieux en vrai qu'en photo. Elle est très bien située pour visiter Barcelone (30 mns) et randonner à Montserrat . Les paysages sont magnifiques, le propriétaire est très sympathique. Il y a de nombreux jeux pour occuper les enfants et la piscine est très agréable. Collbato est un village où l'on trouve tous les commerces nécessaires aux vacances. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Très bon accueil, propriétaire très sympathique, parlant très bien français. La maison correspond à la description, idéale avec des enfants (nous étions 6), le jardin est plus joli que sur les photos, très bien entretenu avec des petits coins à l'ombre tout au long de la journée. La piscine est grande et très agréable et bien entretenue aussi (le jardinier passe régulièrement vérifier la propreté de l'eau). L'intérieur est bien équipé, mais le mobilier ancien. Autour, il y a le Montserrat pour des randonnées et un restaurant sympa, sinon le village ne présente pas d'intérêt. Barcelone est à 30 minutes et très facile d'accès en voiture, de même que les plages au sud de Barcelone. Un bon point de départ pour visiter Barcelone.

"This holiday house was even better than we expected. After a very warm welcome by the owners we entered the friendly house, which is very well equipped, and the outdoor space is large and has many different places to sit in the shade or sun at every time of the day. The pool is fantastic! The village is closeby, where daily groceries are available. The view of Montserrat is stunning."
