Welcome to Absolutely Shore, your perfect Finger Lakes vacation rental on the east side of Seneca Lake! This charming lakeside log home offers the ideal mix of rustic Adirondack style and modern comfort for a relaxing getaway with family or friends.

Step inside and feel right at home in the spacious great room filled with natural light from skylights and warm hardwood floors throughout. The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a large island with bar seating — perfect for gathering over meals or morning coffee. The dining area overlooks the lake and comfortably seats six, expandable to ten, for memorable family dinners or celebrations.

Cozy up by the beautiful stone fireplace in the living room, a stunning focal point for chilly evenings. The main floor also offers a queen bedroom and full bathroom for easy living.

Upstairs, find two more inviting bedrooms — one with a queen bed and the other with two twin singles — plus a full bathroom. For extra sleeping space, the loft overlooks the great room and includes a queen sleeper sofa.

From May through September, the seasonal bunk house behind the home provides a private space with a queen bed and full bath — great for kids or additional guests.

Outside, enjoy the wraparound covered porch with plenty of seating to soak up summer breezes or enjoy outdoor meals. Just across the quiet street, 85 feet of natural pebble lakefront awaits with a gradual wade-in perfect for all ages. The large permanent dock and hoist make boating and fishing a breeze.

Located near Watkins Glen and surrounded by some of the Finger Lakes' best wineries, restaurants, and hiking trails, Absolutely Shore offers a true lakeside retreat for exploring the region or simply unwinding by the water.

This vacation home accommodates up to eight guests from October to April, and up to ten when the bunk house is open from May to September. Come experience peaceful lakeside living and make lasting memories at Absolutely Shore!

This was the perfect place for our family vacation. It's close to Watkins Glen and many wineries and restaurants while being private since it's located on a dead end road. There were 7 of us, 3 generations, and the sleeping accommodations, with the bunkhouse, provided everyone with privacy. The large dining room table was a great space for game nights while the living room arrangement allowed those not playing to watch TV. Sitting on the chairs on the dock was a perfect place for me to read while enjoying views and sounds of Seneca Lake. The best part is the large porch. We would sit out there first thing in the morning while planning our day and gather at the end of the day to tell everyone where we'd gone and what we'd done when we all got back home. Great memories of our Seneca Lake vacation.

Lovely getaway!

This is a beautiful property. Unbelievably serene, gorgeous lake view from the house. We were here in the winter; getting in and out of the place was a little scary in precipitation. The road from the ridge down to the lake is quite steep. The house itself is beautifully kept, a perfect layout, and we enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen and fires in the fireplace. Highly recommended!

Weekend getaway with friends

The house was beautiful. Great location! The beds not so comfortable especially in 1st floor bedroom. It sunk in middle: 2 people could not sleep on it. The grass was very high when we got there and the step out back off porch is very dangerous when stepping off porch, almost had a few people falling. The alarm system went off at midnight every night also, lasting a few minutes then stopped.

A multigenerational family vacation from age 3 to 75. The house was a few steps away from beautiful Seneca Lake with easy access to enjoy the lake life on the dock or shore. Proximity to wineries and nearby waterfalls for hikes.

Special Family Gathering

Overall, a lovely home with very comfortable space for our immediate family to gather and relax before the arrival of our 2nd grandchild. Easy access to water for fishing. Equipped with both fire pit and fireplace to enjoy year round. Plenty of space with well appointed kitchen, games, and DVDs. Only regret was that we wished we could have stayed longer or during the warmer weather when we could enjoyed more of what this beautiful home had to offer. It was a wonderful weekend of making memories and we would love to return in the future.

Amazing Cabin on the lake

I can't imagine staying anywhere else. We loved everything about this cabin. Plenty of room for six people. Walk out your door to a private dock, fire pit and stunning views. Very clean, sanitized thick towels, great shower pressure, comfortable inside and out. Ideal location near wineries and restaurants.Modern, spacious and tons of books, games and movies to enjoy. No water toys but rentals not far. We can't wait to come back!!

Beautiful Home, Beautiful View

The home is beautiful and comfortably furnished. Beautiful view of the lake, nice yard for playing games. We were there early in the season and there was a misunderstanding about whether or not the bunk house was being used that was quickly rectified by the property management company. They were in communication and easy to reach until it was handled. Great place to stay.

Wonderful winter getaway

This house was absolutely beautiful! Very clean, decorated nicely with a spectacular view right on the lake with beautiful sunsets. We all had a great time playing board games & drinking hot cocoa by the fireplace. Our 2 girls (6) & (10) didn’t want to leave. We are already looking into renting for the summer. Great communication with Finger lakes Premier Property very attentive agents.

Seneca Lake Cabin

The cabin and location is awesome. Things pertaining to the property was as indicated; but the amenities were not. The email we received just prior to arrival stated Premier Property would supply a "starter kit" so we would not be burden with collecting provisions from a grocery store that first night. That was not true. There were no provisions, no leftover anything even condiments, boxed goods, cereal (the usual items left behind) - nothing in the home. Like it was cleared out. Typically, previous renter leave odd stuff. There wasn't even plastic wrap, foil, or baggies. ODD - that there were no kitchen amenties. Fire ring and fireplace - no firewood. (Back yard quest accommdation locked without access key code.) Not disappointed with the location or the structure - but disappointed with the usual and stated expectations.

Amazing location!

What a beautiful home! Perfect location to enjoy the lake views, go wine tasting, and just relax. I was so happy that it was still decorated for Christmas as we were looking for a place to spend a few days after the holidays decompressing but still enjoying the break. Be sure to bring ANYthing you'll want to cook with though that's considered a food item. No oil, spices, salt and pepper or saran wrap/foil at all. Probably the most disappointing thing was not realizing that the fireplace was a woodburning one and having no wood there to enjoy it. One of the top reasons I picked this place was to have a fire so to get there and realize that was going to take some effort to achieve was definitely disappointing. I admit that I just assumed since it was a vacation rental it would be a gas fireplace, but nowhere in the listing or things to bring did it say that this property had a wood fireplace and to definitely bring wood. I think we spent well over 100 to go buy wood for our stay so that was frustrating. Also note, that the TVs are not smart TVs so you are limited to watching whatever is on, and you can not choose what to watch from your apps. There was no guide to the remote so figuring that out was challenging for a bit. Our very last day (New Year's Day) there were at least 4-5 duck hunters shooting ducks from the dock beside the house so that was also less than relaxing hearing guns going off all morning, but overall...I'd still come again. With lots of firewood. :)

Excellent location but terrible service.

The Finger Lakes Property Management service is the worst I have ever experienced. I suggest avoiding them, if possible. Here are the details for those who might want them. 1. Got the lock box code after multiple calls. Should have given us touch pad code from the start. 2. They took >24 h to fix a clog in the upstairs bathroom sink. 3. The day after the sink was fixed, it started leaking in the kitchen. So 6 of us were restricted to using a single bathroom sink for 2 days. 4. Provided absolutely minimal cleaning supplies: only 2 dishwasher cleaning tablets and 2 kitchen towels for 6 days of rental for 6 people. When I called to request more kitchen towels, I was told they cannot provide more. 5. Don’t have expect the most basic kitchen supplies such as coffee filters, salt, pepper, etc. Have never experienced this before. 6. On the last morning, we were asked to leave the keys on kitchen counter and we accidentally left one of our backpacks in the house. I called the Property Management people, who indicated that the cleaning lady will arrive in about two hours. When she didn’t, I called again and was told that she was delayed because she had a hard time retrieving the key from a lock box. To cut a long story short, she finally arrived and entered the house using the touch pad lock on the back door (she didn’t need a key and we could have been given the touch pad code to retrieve our bag pack 3.5 h earlier). Moreover, she told us that she was not contacted by Finger Lakes Property Management at all. In fact, she would have come sooner to open the door for us, if she had been contacted. Bottom line: we were fed a lot of lies by the Finger Lakes Property Management Service. This was the final straw that broke the camel’s back. 7. Finally, when I called to complain, it took them 4 days to get a customer care manager to call me back to discuss my issues- unacceptable behavior by a company in hospitality business. Stay away!

Comfortable cabin on the lake

Our stay was comfortable and sitting on the dock was wonderful given the unseasonably warm weather we were lucky enough to have. I had read some of the reviews before booking and was a bit unsure, but took a chance and was glad we did. This is not the most luxurious home we have stayed in, but it was clean, comfortable and we would recommend it. We were a party of 4 and I’ll share our experience in the hope it helps others make a decision. Pros: - there were plenty of towels and linens with multiples left in every room. The sheets and towels come wrapped in plastic as a COVID measure, so you have to make your bed. We did not find this off- putting. There are plenty of additional blankets, pillows, etc. in each bedroom closet should they be needed. - Supplies: there was a cute welcome package on the counter that included 1 roll of paper towels, dish soap, a new sponge, 2 dishwasher tablets and 2 kitchen towels. We were also left a complimentary bottle of a locally produced salad dressing. There were extra garbage bags left in all the wastebaskets. The kitchen bags are HUGE and can hold a lot! There were 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom. As we were there for only 3 nights, we found all supplies to be ample and satisfactory. We never expect unlimited supplies when renting a home. - in addition to the living room, each bedroom has a TV with cable. The room I stayed in has a smart TV that wasn’t connected to the internet to watch any streaming channels. I connected it :) - the house has great internet and we never had an issue with connectivity. Please note the login information for the network is not correct although the password was. I just clicked on networks until the password worked :) Cons: - there was a note on the counter when we checked in to “not use the upstairs shower for 24 hours” without explanation. There were only 4 of us so this wasn’t a hardship, but an explanation would have been appreciated. We used it after 24 hours and all the plumbing worked perfectly without issue including the dishwasher. - the home could use some updating, but everything was functional. - the queen bedroom and the bathroom upstairs are missing blinds. The curtains could be closed so you have some privacy, but it’s a small, inexpensive fix that makes a difference. Overall, we recommend it for its location and cleanliness. We’d stay again!

Better than the pictures

Our family had a wonderful stay at Absolutely shore. The house was even nicer in person than the pictures. Very clean and cozy. The boys particularly liked being able to have a firepit down by the lake. Mom and Dad really liked having a fire lit inside the beautiful great room. Really a nice experience all around. We would definitely stay again.

Great Family Vacay

From the first splash in the lake to the final paddle around, it was a great multi-generational family vacation. The house was well stocked, and the neighborhood was safe. We loved being able to walk out the front door and walk onto the dock where we could swim, paddle, or fish. Took advantage of hiking Watkins Glen one morning.

Location Location

For us the location of the house right on the lake with easy access to the dock was the crowning feature. It had nice seating and a glass of wine made for a delightful sunset experience. The house itself is spacious and nice and worked well for us. ( two couples). The kitchen was well stocked and had nice appliances and room to cook. Our major suggestion is declutter the house. Too much stuff (toss pillows, old lamps, books, vases, etc) take away from the amazing living space and beauty of the cabin!
