Special place on the lake

There were four of us traveling (adults 45+ yrs old). The pictures are beautiful but being there and seeing the view was even better than what we were expecting! Marco and Daniella were incredible hosts! They were there to great us and explain how everything worked and gave us the keys. They even gave us a nice basket of goodies and a bottle of Prosecco. We had everything we needed and more from dishes and towels to wine bottle openers and toaster, the washer and dryer really came through for us as we were on a 12 day trip and needed to refresh items of clothing. We asked Marco about a cooking class that might be nearby and he suggested a friend who was a world class chef that could come to the home and teach us in private. It wound up being the highlight of the trip! The chef was very professional! He brought us all souvenir aprons and a book of the recipes we were learning. He thought us how to make Tiramisou, Gnocci and Padta Bolognese from scratch including the sauces (Pesto, Meat sauce). It was so much fun! We can’t thank Marco and Daniella enough for opening their home to us and allowing us the trip we will always remember!

First Time in Lake Como

Marco was a great host and very accommodating. The apartment was cleanly and had a beautiful view of the lake. I would strongly recommend staying here!

Relaxing

The view from the terrace is amazing! A wonderful and relaxing place to spend time on Lake Como. The location is very convenient to the ferry in Varenna. You can’t walk easily to Varenna but the drive is quick and parking was easy in the garage. If you are looking for beauty and relaxation, this is the perfect place.

Beautiful Property

We stayed for 3 nights and wished it was a week. The apartment was as comfortable and the view as beautiful as advertised. We did not have a car But it was easy to get to and from the lovely town of Varenna by cab. Marco was a very gracious and helpful host I highly recommend this property.

Loved our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our 4 night stay at Marco's villa. The views from the apartment and patio looking over Lake Como are breathtaking. Apartment was very clean and well supplied. Marco was an excellent host. Treats and bottle of Prosecco gift from owner was greatly appreciated. We cannot say enough great things about this property ! Como are breathtaking

Awesome property

For a change, the property was exactly as advertised. Plenty of room, clean , incredible views and charming hosts. Hoping to return with friends. Suggest renting a car as taxi service is a bit tough.

Absolutely phenomenal

We had the best of time. Stayed for a month. The owners Marco and Daniela could not have been nicer. The home is a dream. We took morning dips every morning in the lake and walked 2 miles into Varenna every morning for coffee (and back).

Fantastic Views and Outdoor Space

We loved our stay at this charming property! The views are stunning. The outdoor space is so welcoming and comfortable. The easy lake access is unique and was really fun for our kids. Our family loved swimming in the lake then coming back to warm up on the turf. Daniella and Marco are fantastic hosts who kindly welcomed us with champagne and snacks. We did have to take a taxi to town each time, but the hosts provided drivers we could contact via Whatsapp. The taxis were a bit of a pain, but totally worth it to stay at this property. We loved it!

Lake Como

A beautiful house with a beautiful view. The A/C works great as does the W/D. The kitchen could use a few more supplies as we cooked every night. The photos don't show it but the house is on a busy road. The owners live upstairs and there is a renter downstairs. The walk into Varenna is difficult as there are few sidewalks. I recommend renting E-bikes for the trip into Varenna. Overall a wonderful place to stay with a small family.

Stunning apartment with amazing lake views and beach access

A fabulous apartment to share with family and friends. Lovely garden and sun room with lots of seating options to enjoy the incredible views of the lake. Marco is an excellent host and was really accommodating. The little tunnel down to the beach was a great surprise and it was wonderful to have such easy access to lake swimming. A wonderful place to just relax or to explore Lake Como.

Gorgeous

We loved Marco’s apartment!! We were in awe of the beautiful views from every room. The indoor/outdoor seating areas were perfect. The location was great. Some nights we walked to dinner and others we took a taxi. We loved staying here and would highly recommend it to anyone considering it.

Amazing View

We absolutely loved this apartment! The outdoor space and view can’t be beat! The apartment is beautiful and very clean. It is located about a mile out of town and it is quiet and peaceful. Be sure to arrange your taxis the day before. Marco was very helpful when arranging our airport transfers and the welcome package was a nice touch. Thank you for a beautiful stay!

Terrific stay for Lake Como vacation!

This property is just as advertised! Beautiful property just south of Varenna. Everything was updated and clean. The patio is private and a great spot to enjoy the view of Lake Como. Marco and his wife are fantastic hosts. Marco even came and picked us up from the train station upon arrival! Pictures don't do it justice....the views of the lake are incredible from this property. The property is about a 30 min walk from Varenna, but there were local cabs (contacts provided by host) that were always available for 15 Euros per trip when we wanted a ride. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic location on Lake Como

Lovely apartment with all the necessities to make an enjpyable stay. Marco and Daniella were perfect hosts and left us a welcome bottle of Proseco and cookies. They were available for our many questions. BUT THE VIEW WAS EXCEPTIONAL. From snow capped moutains to the lake we had a panoramic view one that we will never forget. The town is quaint and ferries to other towns were easy. We highly recommend this apartment and location. Thank you again Marco and Daniella.

Lake Como Oasis

We absolutely adored our stay at Marco’s home. He greeted us upon arrival with Prosecco and goodies. The home was fully equipped and stunning. The views unmatched. We took a can from the train station but from then on truly enjoyed our walks to town daily. Although not close so beautiful and worth the steps. Definitely visit the one restaurant close by. We had one of the meals of our lives. So delicious. We would definitely return to Marco’s place.

Beautiful property

Marco and Daniella are absolutely wonderful hosts! The apartment is even more spectacular in person. You will not want to leave this gorgeous place. We were 2 couples, and we had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were nice. All were immaculately clean. Our hosts graciously left Prosecco and snacks, they were much appreciated. We were very happy to find not only a washer, but also a dryer. Varenna is a great place to visit, and the apartment was a very quick drive away. There is a large grocery store within a very short drive. We enjoyed taking the ferries to various places. I highly recommend staying here!

A Piece of Paradise at Lake Como

The photos of the apartment do not do it justice. Marco's place has a breathtaking view of the lake. We loved our stay there and would return in a heart beat. The apartment is cleverly designed to maximize space and the outdoor patio area is spectacular. A highlight was watching the sunset over lake Como every evening. Marco was an excellent host and he even assisted us with firewood so that we could have a BBQ one evening. They were very kind to our granddaughter and provided books and toys for her to play with. The apartment is located a distance from restaurants and shops so it is highly recommended to have a car. Walking on the road is dangerous as it busy and very narrow. For those that love hiking there is a famous trail with beautiful views on the hill above the house. Thank you Marco for a wonderful stay in your amazing home!

Lake Como gem

This has been the best property we’ve ever stayed in. Our family of 6 (4 children ranging from 10-18 years old) could not fault anything. The house, the views, and the lovely walk along the greenway to Varenna made this a very special experience. Thank you Marco and Daniela.

Wonderful family trip

Marco was great and the property is beyond fabulous. The only thing that is tricky about it is the lack of walkabilty. But a small price to pay for such a great place to stay.

Fall in Como

Was a lovely stay and exceeded all of our expectations. Marco and Daniella were gracious hosts who managed our experience all along the way. I highly recommend this unit for anyone visiting Lake Como which also has easy access to The ferries to popular places on the lake.
