The island of Sicily has always been known as a crossroads of peoples and cultures olive-sicily, thanks to its strategic position in the center of the Mediterranean. This has generated an extraordinary richness and cultural variety that, together with the original characteristics of the territory and its inhabitants, makes it a unique place. Tourist destination par excellence, in the eighteenth century Sicily becomes part of the Grand Tour attracting young aristocrats of northern Europe.
Divided into 9 provinces, with Palermo as its capital, Sicily shows a great diversity of landscapes: from the high mounts of the interior, the Madonie and the Nebrodi which reach almost 2000 m in height, to the more modest Erei and Iblei; the archipelagos of the Aeolian, the Egadi and the Pelagie; the volcanoes, Mount Etna, Stromboli and Vulcano; 1500 km of coastline. Syracuse
The largest metropolis in the ancient Greek world, preserves throughout its territory the vestiges of its Greek and Roman past, ancient theaters, temples, sculptures. From the bustling city life to the tranquility of its countryside, Syracuse is able to satisfy even the most demanding traveler thanks to its vast cultural and gastronomic offer.

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment, there was a bread shop just outside the apartment and the market was brilliant for getting fresh veg/fruit and fish.
It's a fantastic location and the rooms were spacious and bright. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment.
I'd thoroughly recommend the property.
We had such a lovely time in this apartment - newly renovated, nice and clean with efficient air conditioning, quiet although in the center, and everything you need to make your own meals if you wish. Manila was very helpful with everything; thank you!
