At the entrance of a Pyrenean valley, on the border of Béarn and Bigorre, rental is located on one of the mythical roads of the Tour de France passes leading to the Aubisque and Soulor. The house, combining 'old stone' and modernity (wifi, pool, game room and fitness ...) is located in an area with dispersed habitat, in the center of an old farm of two hectares, wooded area. Its location allows in mountain hiking in the footsteps of the last bear or ballads Gave the edge of a housing trout and even some desmans! The heated pool 11x5m is shared with the couple that owns it can be used from May to October. Grwat place for visiting the Pyrenees

We loved the stay, friendly hosts speaking both French, English and German, with great pool and a friendly atmosphere where the Haut pyrenees start. Great shopping 20m away, a decent distance to the best of the pyrenees. 6 beds in adult size. Well functioning Gite. Thanks for great hospitality.

Beautiful place to stay in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Hosts very help and on hand when needed, despite the language differences we coukd still communicate. Lots of amazing scenery to explore. Pool was welcome, middle of the stay when the weather was very hot. Accommodation had everything we needed

A great house in a fantastic location. Everything we needed for a good holiday. The large pool made it even better. Daniel was the perfect host. If spotting eagles/kites/vultures are our thing then this is the place to be.

Stunning house in a beautiful location. Plenty of space inside and out ( for 4 people and 4 dogs). We all decided that we could live in this house. Very quick response to our emails and helpful whilst there. Thankyou we will hopefully be back.

Over het geheel genomen viel de accommodatie ons tegen. Het was anders dan de omschrijving suggereerde. We hadden dit huis specifiek geboekt vanwege het verwarmde privé zwembad. Echter het zwembad is gelegen achter de woning van de eigenaars, dus niet privé. Daarnaast was het niet verwarmd en nog niet schoongemaakt.Wij hebben niet gebruik kunnen maken van het zwembad.Er zijn buiten geen fijne stoelen om te relaxen. Speelhal was niet op orde, en vol met andere zaken. Daarbij kwam dat eigenaar bezig was met het bouwen van een garage op het terrein in het zicht van de vakantiewoning, en dit geeft bouwlawaai van betonmolen en gereedschap. Dit gaf ons niet het gevoel van rust en vakantie. Het huis zelf, keuken en badkamer waren wel prima in orde. Schoon en alles aanwezig. Uitstekende Wifi.De omgeving is prachtig, daar hebben we wél van kunnen genieten!

Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez apprécié le gîte dans son ensemble, et que la localisation vous ai permis de découvrir notre magnifique région. La période à laquelle vous êtes venue est une période quelque peu aléatoire pour la piscine : certaines années le mois de Mai permet la baignade, malheureusement cette année ce n'était pas le cas (conditions météo catastrophiques : pluies et neige à proximité...) Concernant les travaux, nous sommes navrés pour la gêne occasionnée durant la phase de maçonnerie. Ces travaux sont destinés à améliorer le confort des voyageurs et seront terminés prochainement. Au plaisir de vous revoir !

Nous avons passé un grand week-end très agréable à ARTHEZ D'ASSON. Les propriétaires du lieu sont très sympathiques, le gite de qualité avec tout le nécessaire pour rendre le séjour au top !Le beau temps n'était pas au rendez vous mais nous avons pu aller visiter les grottes de Bétarram (Arthez d'Asson pour les "locaux") et fait 2 jolies balades à ARTHEZ et FERRIERES nous faisant connaître le passé de la région.Repos et jeux au coin de la cheminée...Une dernière escapade au zoo d'Asson. Bref, je recommande à tous ceux qui ne connaissent pas le coin de venir faire un petit tour pour découvrir les beautés de cette vallée pyrénéenne.

Vacances d'hiver

Jolie maison au coeur de la nature. Une ferme à quelques centaines de mètres qui fait un bon fromage de chèvres. Et tout au long du séjour la découverte des sites de balades comme le col du Soulor, où le calvaire de Bettharam. Nous avons passé un bon moment.
