While many guests, especially the service and Naval Academy families who spend holidays, summer vacations, and time between deployments with us, consider our property a home away from home, I am truly sorry it was not what you were looking for. Our housekeeper is meticulous, and based on prior positive feedback, we were surprised to hear you felt the home needed a deep cleaning and that the kitchen wasn't fully equipped. Based on your feedback, we will work closely with our housekeeper to ensure the home is always cleaned and stocked to the highest standards. The ash shovel is kept in the garage near the receptacles to prevent it from rusting. Because we live next door, we would have been happy to assist you with the fire pit or provide anything else you needed during your stay. We pride ourselves on cleanliness and are sorry the home did not meat your standards. As we live next door, we wish you would have brought your concerns to our attention upon arrival. We would have rectified any findings immediately. We still have yet to find ants. We do rely on guests to use the dishwasher to clean kitchenware and can understand your disappointment when faced with having to clean some pots and pans. While we were concerned about the number of cars and people you had on property given our house policies, we hope you enjoyed your stay.
