Spacious villa in a great location

On arrival the villa was just as expected, spacious, open plan and a lovely pool, it soon started to go downhill with a few issues that arose. As we turned the taps on yellow water came out and the bathrooms smelled damp, a couple of the outdoor sunbeds were broken along with the parasols, luckily we didn’t need to use them and the palm trees needed cutting back as it constantly fell into the pool which needed cleaning every time you used the pool. The middle of the week, two toilets became blocked and the owner came to plunge them but said they were old and would call a plumber, who arrived the next day, the plumber left a mess and I had to contact the owner again for someone to clean it up. The villa could be so lovely but it has been left to be rundown.

Great villa, great location, great stay all round!!

Our holiday in Palm Mar was fantastic. The villa was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We had one issue with the pool but they owner was extremely quick to rectify. Being close to the beach and the small town was perfect for our month-long stay. Whilst away, we had several visitors from home, with a large party size at its maximum: the youngest being 3 years old and the oldest being 74. At no point did we feel on top of each other, and we were ALL able to find something to do to occupy our time (when we weren’t sunbathing in the glorious sunshine). We had a choice of fantastic little bars and restaurants within a very short walking distance, and we were also close enough to the larger town of Los Cristianos if we wanted more life. Would we return? Most definitely!

Family Holiday

The overall layout, being open plan, was very good. Kitchen was well appointed, no kettle then 2 arrived. There were several issues that should have been picked up by owners and corrected. The basement bedroom had a real problem because of the sewerage smell which was reported but not actioned. Nobody was prepared to stay in the basement so one grandson slept on a mattress on the floor upstairs. I specifically require a 5 bedroom villa for our family holiday, so regrettably I will not be able to consider this villa in future

Nice Villa with way too many issues

The Villa itself is nice but there are so many little things the owners need to take care of, we can't give a good rating. Many issues seem small on their own, but all in all combined it just doesn't fit to the described luxurious house. A lot of these things were already mentioned in other reviews, i.e. missing towel holders, broken tiles, broken mirrors, broken bed frames, rusty dishwasher, broken window glass (covered with black foil), broken patio locks, leaking water heater - the list goes on and on. Contrary to the described calm area, there is a construction side right across the street. The safe wasn't usable, as you couldn't close the door properly. One toilet cistern was leaking and thus constantly refilling. Neither hot water nor a working pool pump the during the first days. Missing tiles (you could just start digging in the plain earth) due to prior water damage that just got covered with a plank. Multiple visible break in attempts (actually including a successful one during our stay) and we got a wooden stick (like somebody else mentioned) to "secure" the patio doors.To top everything, various people just enter the house on their own (once for dropping a missing key, once for pool cleaning) without prior notice. The owner and cleaning personell all seem nice, it's a pity they just let that property decay and don't do necessary maintenance. On a positive note, the pool is nice, the working equipment and kitchen as well, also the area is really welcoming .

1st Time in Tenerife

Overall good Our flight was delayed and could not meet agent at the house so had to collect keys from commercial property. As new to area, took a little time to get our bearings. Could do with possibly a key box outside property for these eventualities. Told TV was not working by agent over Whatsapp and they would get sorted Monday. I fixed the problem that night. Great place, plenty of room for 8 people or 4 couples, but if you have a couple with 4 children or individuals, the extra bedroom that is available is accessed via a staircase by the pool outside and down some stairs through a door and a room with bathroom is there. Because we had my mother-in-law with us neither she or any of my children wanted to sleep there as a bit isolated from main house. I had to sleep in there on my own for 2 weeks as my wife and mother-in-law slept in same room in the main house. Not a problem for me, but just something to note. The main fuse board tripped out a few times that night when we had just got there and if you did not know what to do or what to look for could have been an issue. Flipped it back on, but kept tripping because everything was being switched on. Informed the agent and was told someone would visit. After allocating rooms, found the some of the beds had slats that were loose or missing, particularly my eldest daughters room, she fell through the middle when sitting on the mattress. Will be an issue for people with small children as the slats moved as not fixed! moretoadd

Heerlijk verblijf

Voor het weer gekozen voor deze accommodatie in het zuiden. Wat goed was want er was noodweer op Tenerife maar wij hadden toch zon. Voldoende ruimte voor ons als familie met kinderen en opa en oma te verblijven. Huis netjes en alles aanwezig om zelf te koken. Supermarkten in de buurt en strandtent om de hoek. Wellicht mocht je een natuurfreak zijn als ik en van fotografie houden wat verder weg van de andere locaties op het eiland.

VernachlÀssigung

GrundsĂ€tzlich ist die Lage sowie das Haus inkl. 4 Zimmern gut, jedoch wird es u.E. leider vernachlĂ€ssigt. Man könnte mit einigen wenigen Arbeiten (TĂŒrgriff reparieren, WĂ€nde reinigen / Schimmelbefall etc.) sehr viel verbessern. Bei unserer Ankunft war die Terrasse schmutzig und ĂŒbersĂ€t mit Palmen- und PflanzrĂŒckstĂ€nden. Auch die Fenster sehr schmutzig. Zum Reinigen fehlten leider auch die entsprechenden GerĂ€te. BaulĂ€rm vor dem Haus sollte den GĂ€sten vorher bekanntgegeben werden. Schade um das Haus! Somit zur Zeit kein gutes Preis/LeistungsverhĂ€ltnis. Grosses Plus; der geheizte Pool!

Erholsamer Aufenthalt.

Ein schönes Haus in guter Lage .Wir waren mit 9 Personen in diesem Haus zu Gast. Platz fĂŒr jeden ,Pool Super , KĂŒche und Geschirr alles vorhanden und reichlich. Es gibt Kleinigkeiten, die schnell behoben werden könnten. Ein Handtuchhalter fĂ€llt ab und eine SchlafzimmertĂŒr lĂ€sst sich nicht zumachen. Aber das sind keine Dinge .Der einzige Punkt, ĂŒber den man streiten kann ,ist die eine fehlende HĂ€lfte der Markise, ĂŒber dem Essbereich auf der Terrasse .Im Hochsommer ein muss, im April nicht unbedingt erforderlich. Im Großen und Ganzen war es ein zufriedener Aufenthalt in einem schönen Haus. Wer etwa sucht, wird immer etwas finden, und der sollte lieber zu Hause bleiben. Wir haben das Haus ,ruhigen Gewissens weiterempfohlen.

Ankommen und wohlfĂŒhlen! Egal ob Familienurlaub, Urlaub unter Freunden oder Ă€hnliches- hier ist alles möglich! Tolles, sauberes Haus mit Salzwasserpool und Meerblick. SonnenuntergĂ€nge von der Terrasse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußlĂ€ufig erreichbar KĂŒche top ausgestattet Bars um die ecke direkt am Meer Entspannt und doch gehoben Ein paar kleine Reparaturen wĂ€ren in den BĂ€dern nötig- aber das sind wirklich Luxusprobleme. Gerne wieder!

Die Unterkunft ist eine Frechheit!!!

Haben diese Unterkunft im Februar mit 7 Erw. und 2 Kindern gebucht. Als wir das Haus betraten fiel sofort der muffige Geruch auf. Beim Rundgang viel auf das, das Haus massiv mit Schimmel befallen ist. WĂ€nde, Gardienen und selbst die Klimaanlagen, von denen man sich mit Sicherheit nicht anpusten lassen wollte. Zwei BĂ€der waren nicht nutzbar. Eines war extrem mit Schimmel befallen und die Toilette undicht (Überschwemmung beim abspĂŒlen) Im anderen Bad gab es am Waschbecken und in der Dusche kein warmes Wasser. Die KĂŒche war sehr schmuddelig. Backofen und Grill draußen wollten wir nicht nutzen, da diese sehr stark verschmutzt waren. BettwĂ€sche teilweise befleckt. Viele Kleinigkeiten kaputt, die mit wenig Aufwand und Geld ausgetauscht werden könnten. Z.B. Nachttischlampen, Lichtschalter, Spiegel und vieles mehr. Attraktiv fĂŒr diese Jahreszeit war der beheizbare Pool. Jedoch funktionierte weder die Pumpe, noch die Heizung. Direkt am ersten Tag kontaktierten wir die Vermieterin und teilten all diese Dinge mit. Es wurde zugesagt das am nĂ€chsten Tag der Pool repariert und der extreme Schimmel in dem Bad beseitigt werde. Der Schimmel ist warscheinlich bis heute noch da. Pumpe und Heizung vom Pool wurde ganze drei Tage repariert, sodass er erst am letzten Tag vor Abreise warm und nutzbar war. FĂŒr die Reinigung der Unterkunft sollten wir selber die zustĂ€ndige Firma kontaktieren, was eine Frechheit ist. Das es kein warmes Wasser in einem Bad gab, interessierte auch nicht.

Tolle Villa fĂŒr Familie und Freunde in Palm-Mar

Es war eins der ersten HĂ€user bei unserer Urlaubssuche wo wir gesagt haben, das ist es. Auch nach tagelangem Suchem kamen wir immer wieder auf dieses Haus zurĂŒck. Also wurde es gebucht. Der erste Kontakt mit Chantal war super und wir konnten auch noch eine kleine Verschiebung des Urlaubs organisieren. Lieben Dank. ♄ Das Haus/Villa liegt in dem ruhigen Ort Palm-Mar. Nur gute 20min Autofahrt vom Flughafen entfernt. Perfekt fĂŒr einen Urlaub mit Kindern und gestressten Eltern. Da am Vortag niemand im Haus war, konnten wir bereits frĂŒher Einchecken. Eine kurze WhatsApp, dass wir in 30min da sein wĂŒrden hat gereicht. Und so war es auch. Wir wurden herzlich von Jennifer empfangen und es wurde uns alles gezeigt. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht um einen tollen Urlaub zu verbringen. Platz ist ausreichend vorhanden und fast jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes Bad. Die Zimmer im Untergeschoss haben wir nicht benötigt. Das Highlight ist natĂŒrlich der Meerwasserpool, welcher am Anreisetag direkt und ausgiebig genutzt wird. Die mitreisenden 5 Kinder waren dort immer schwer wieder raus zu bekommen. 😅 Aber es ist nicht alles Gold was glĂ€nzt: Im Flur kommt der Putz bzw. die Farbe runter. Im Bad zwischen den Zimmern fiel der Handtuchhalter immer wieder ab, in dem kleinen Zimmer funktionierte die Klimaanlage nur zeitweilig und in allen BĂ€dern sollten MĂŒlleimer stehen, diese waren rar gesĂ€t. Der GeschirrspĂŒler wollte anfangs ebenfalls nicht und wir haben 3 LeergĂ€nge gemacht bis er dann funktionierte. Die Punkte sind Ă€rgerlich sind aber wohl schnell zu beheben. Die Lage des Objekts ist super. In der NĂ€he gibt es diverse Lokale, wo wir super essen waren oder wo wir Essen geholt haben. Die Leute sind alle super nett und zuvorkommend. So wie man es sich besonders im Urlaub wĂŒnscht. Die Bahia Beachbar und auch das Chiringuito Palm-Mar sind in Wurfweite und sind absolut zu empfehlen! Ausflugsziele gibt's genĂŒgend: Ob ein Strandtag in San Christianos, ein Trip in den Siam Park oder ins Aqualand. Die Fahrt mit der Gondel auf den Teide. Es gab viel zu entdecken und wir hatten eine super Zeit vor Ort. Wir wĂŒrden jederzeit wieder kommen. Beste GrĂŒĂŸe aus Rostock Sebastian

GroßzĂŒgiges Objekt in dem schönen Ort Palmar

Wir haben hier mit 8 Personen eine schöne Woche verlebt. Das Objekt liegt unmittelbar an vorderster Linie zum Wasser und erfreut einen beim planschen im Salzwasser-Pool mit MeeresgerĂ€uschen. Das Haus ist mit allem drum und dran ausgestattet und es gibt wie ĂŒblich mal die eine oder andere Kleinigkeit die nicht zu 100% funktioniert. Insgesamt ist das Haus mit 5 Schlafzimmern und EinzelklimagerĂ€ten bestens ausgestattet. Palmar ist an sich ein hĂŒbscher und touristisch nicht ĂŒberlaufender Ort, der mit einigen guten Restaurants und sonstiger Infrastruktur ausgestattet ist. Der Strand selbst kann nicht als Strand bezeichnet werden. Ohne Badeschuhe ist baden unmöglich. Dazu sind aber tolle StrĂ€nde in der Umgebung Richtung Los Cristianos vorhanden. Hervorzuheben ist ein Abend bei Sonnenuntergang im Strandrestaurant Bahia Beach. Relativ neu und frisch direkt im feinen Sand abends essen und schöne Drinks verkosten hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Pizza bei Fast Pizza in der Hauptstraße ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Kann auch außer Haus geordert werden. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist, dass in unmittelbarer Umgebung sich einige Baustellen befinden. Wir hatten diese aber als nicht so sehr störend empfunden. Der erste Anblick dieser fĂŒhrte aber zu kurzzeitiger Verunsicherung. Wir wĂŒrden hier wieder hinfahren.

Helaas maken ze het niet waar en zit er geen hart meer in het huis

Helaas aangekomen in een heel erg vies huis. Schimmel in de gordijnen en de vensterbanken waren er vol mee binnen in huis. De vloer erg smerig, terras niet schoongemaakt en het zwembad ook niet. Het huis had 3 maanden leeg gestaan en ze hebben voordat wij kwamen niet even een hele goede schoonmaakbeurt gegeven en alles goed doorgelucht. Aantal apparaten die het niet deden. Een zoon van de eigenaren heeft daarna wel alles in actie gezet maar de eerste twee dagen waren hierdoor weggegooid. De eigenaresse gaf nadat wij alles hadden aangegeven een erg rare reactie. Ze schreef letterlijk: "ga liever lekker de zon in dan zoeken naar haren op de grond". Jammer dat dit zo moest gaan want je kan van dit huis echt iets heel erg moois maken. De eigenaresse gelooft ook blind in haar schoonmaakteam die ze extern inhuren en vond ons eigenlijk zeurende gasten....wij hebben zelf gezien hoe dit team dit doet....niet goed en wij moesten zelf elke keer aangeven wat er nog extra moest gebeuren. Dit is best de omgedraaide wereld waar je als gast zelf een schoonmaakteam moet aansturen. Helaas voor ons geen reden om hier terug te komen en een zeer onprettig gevoel aan de eigenaresse over gehouden.

We spent a month here and it was amazing the pictures really don’t do it justice it’s 100 times better, it’s equipped with everything you could possibly need, it’s spotlessly clean, the swimming pool is amazing we used it every day, it’s situated in a lovely area with plenty of restaurants, local shops, cocktail bars and gyms you can join, Cedric was a pleasure to meet and was always on hand for help and advice we will definitely return

The Villa is lovely and in a quiet and pleasant location, we found the hosts easy to contact and accommodating and thoroughly enjoyed the trip

Lovely Villa.

Lovely, spacious and very clean villa. The pool is a highlight, it is a good size and deep throughout. I was a wary of the salt water but it wasn’t an issue for us. Great location close to a rocky beach and within walking distance of several bars and restaurants. Palm Mar is a fairly quiet resort but only 10 minutes by car to Los Cristianos. Good communication with the owners who were there to meet us and dealt with our queries promptly. The pool heater broke during our stay but an engineer was sent out the same day. Would definitely recommend.
