About this property
Plymouth's Historic 1920 Doll House
Everything you’ll need at under 700 square feet. This fully-outfitted, full-house rental has a complete kitchen, living room, two-bedrooms, bath with shower, and beautiful gardens and sitting areas. The Doll House is within easy walking distance to town.
You'll love the cozy charm of our historic tiny house locally known as 'The Doll House'. We're excited to open this treasure to you for a weekend, a week or more! Built in 1920, this house has been lovingly restored to its former glory. It is tastefully decorated in period-appropriate furnishings - just enough room for you to enjoy the simple life of a tiny house. You'll be within walking distance to all of Plymouth's entertainment, restaurants and shops and less than two miles from the Barn on the Pemi. You'll have everything you need - just bring your suitcase and groceries! The Doll House makes a perfect launching pad for your next vacation, business trip, or visit to nearby relatives or students at Plymouth State University or Holderness School.
The Doll House hosts two full bedrooms upstairs, one room with a full bed and one room with two twin beds (one of the twins is a trundle bed). The living room, fully equipped kitchen and bath with shower are downstairs. In warmer months, enjoy the lovely screen porch, garden sitting and eating areas and a cute 'pocket park' across the street.
You'll have full access to the Doll House to come and go as you wish (though you might love it so much you won't 'go' very often)!

About the host
Hosted by Susan Mathison

I have lived in Plymouth for 11 years after moving here from the beautiful Oregon Coast. My partner Steve is a second-generation Plymouth native. Between the two of us we have five kids and a growing crop of grandkids. We are involved in lots of community group and enjoy the connections we make traveling and by sharing our home with others. Between our kids, grandkids, rowing, community service, and gardening, we pack a lot of JOY into each day. We look forward to meeting you!
Why they chose this property
Local Michael and Linda B. lovingly restored this home over the past 9 years. It came time for them to find the Doll House a new owner and, as fate would have it, they found me. Or, perhaps, the Doll House found me? I am thrilled to be able to have the responsibility to take this home on to its 100th birthday and to make it available for you to enjoy. I think you will find that it is perfect - just big enough for your visit, quiet get-away, romantic escape, or longer stay.
