3 Bedroom Townhome, overlooking the EagleRiver, minutes to Beaver Creek and Vail

Located in a quiet, small community, our River Forge townhome is unique from the typical condo/townhome location which often have a large number of other units and people all around you. River Forge is tucked away and nestled alongside the Eagle River in Avon, and very quiet and peaceful.

This comfortable and cozy townhome features all 3 bedrooms upstairs each including luxurious linens and 2 full baths. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, walk in closet and flat screen TV. The best feature about this room, and the bedroom right next to it, is the large sliding window that when opened, even slightly, allows you to hear the beautiful sound of the Eagle River right below. The master bath is accessed from the master bedroom and has double vanity sinks and an oversized tub with shower enclosure.

The larger bedroom has a queen bed and two twin beds. The other bedroom on the riverside also has a queen bed. All bedding is comfortable quality from Pottery Barn. If needed, there is a blow-up twin mattress in the closet (with extra bedding).

The second full bath with shower enclosure is located off the hallway upstairs by the bedrooms.

Downstairs you will find a half bath, the utility room with full sized washer and dryer, and cubbies for hats and gloves.

Also on this main floor is a kitchen with new dishes, glassware and cookware, and new appliances, such as toaster oven, 4 slice toaster, coffee maker/hot water dispenser, large crockpot and large electric skillet. If you want to cook and eat at 'home', you'll find everything you need except the food! The kitchen opens into the dining area with farm table, four chairs and a bench, with a gorgeous view. Open the sliding doors next to the table that open onto the deck and enjoy the calming sound of the Eagle River.

Adjacent to the dining area is the living room, comfortable and cozy with games for your enjoyment, as well as a 60 inch flatscreen HD TV and Blu Ray player. Our home has Comcast cable TV, as well as wifi for your convenience. The space includes a gas fireplace with logs, that warms up surprisingly with the flip of a switch. There is a large picture window with a gorgeous view.

The deck overlooks the river and includes a Weber grill and table with 6 chairs, a great place for relaxing in summer months.

River Forge is located about 1/2 mile east of Avon Road on Highway 6, tucked off the road, fronting the Eagle River. Fly fishing is literally right out the door! Convenient to restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, bakeries and Starbucks, you are literally minutes from everything Avon/Beaver Creek has to offer, and very close to Vail and Arrowhead as well. The bus stop is just steps away from our home. The Westin Riverfront hotel is 1/2 mile west where you can take the Gondola up to the ski area and other lifts. The 'Bear' parking lot is only blocks away on Highway 6, which provides a convenient shuttle to Beaver Creek Ski area.
