About this property

Breathtaking View at 5 Star Rated Private Studio Cabin

We are so humbled and grateful for the fact that we can assure any potential guests that the recent wild fires in the Gatlinburg area have left not only our beloved cabins, but the surrounding area, untouched...and this includes our breathtaking views! We encourage you to come visit what we consider to be one of the most beautiful places in the United States and help support a wonderful community renew.

If you are looking for a way to “unwind” or have a “romantic getaway” then there is no better place than the awe inspiring beauty of the Smoky Mountains. Riser’s Ridge Cabin offers you an opportunity to experience one of the best views nature has to offer from the deck of a Private and Beautifully Furnished Studio Cabin. Although the Smoky Mountains is world famous for its fall season, it is also spectacular during spring, summer and winter. And when you are ready to tear yourself away from your rocking chairs on the deck, the cabin has been furnished with nothing but the best in décor. You can enjoy a meal you prepared in the full kitchen, take up a book in front of the wood burning fireplace, or kick back on the couch to do absolutely nothing! We all need more time like that either to ourselves or to spend time with our special someone. If you do feel like you need to get out for some activity, you are 10-15 minutes away from all that Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Gatlinburg have to offer…hiking, biking, antiquing, restaurants and don’t forget Dollywood.

Riser’s Ridge is my personal vacation home and therefore has been furnished and maintained at a high level of quality and care. This cabin is nothing less than an investment in my own happiness; I waited for just the right cabin with just the right view and I have no doubt that I succeeded in finding it. Because I could not retire just yet and spend more time there, I thought that I would offer this amazing experience to other people like me who just need a way to relax, recover, reconnect, and take in the beauty of nature. I am sure you will come away feeling the same way I did the first time I stood on the deck and took in the spectacular scene all around me...breathtaking!

Riser’s Ridge Cabin is a One Bedroom Studio floor plan. It is fully furnished with an upscale modern rustic style. It provides a King Size bed with quality bedding and mattress. A dresser and night stand complete the bedroom area. There is full kitchen with all the basic necessities you would need to prepare meals in addition to a dining table that lets you enjoy both the wood burning fireplace and HD television while you eat. There is a high quality Leather Sofa with Queen Size Sleeper for that extra guest or just use the couch to sit back and relax. The wrap around deck comes with two rocking chairs and there is a barbecue stand for your grilling needs. The cabin provides central air, modern water filtration, DVD Player, Bluetooth music speakers and a free WiFi connection. The road to the cabin is completely paved and since Riser’s Ridge sits at the end, you have plenty of parking in the private cul-de-sac. Although Riser’s Ridge already stands out above the rest just the way it is, I also have plans to continue to upgrade it more and more in the future.

And, in case this might be an option that works for you, Riser's Ridge is also just a few doors down from my most recently purchased cabin, Days Go By (ID 821359). The close proximity of these cabins gives my guests a perfect opportunity to travel with other friends and family; each of you getting to enjoy your own private retreat with the same unbeatable views, but be a short walking distance from reconnecting. Just a thought!

In the event you were wondering where Riser's Ridge got its name, I named it after a song that is truly worthy of such a beautiful place....Riser by Dierks Bentley.

Beautiful Cabin
My husband and I spent 5 days at this property. Our first impression was that it was very clean. We had no problems with anything! We were up on the mountain but still close to all the activities we enjoyed. Definitely a wonderful place to stay.

Nice Getaway
This was a nice studio cabin with everything you need and a nice view of the mountains. This cabin is well taken care of, from the appliances to the dishes and cookware to the furniture and comfortable bed. It’s a perfect place for a couples getaway.

For the price - awesome!
The views were beautiful! As the title says, the price is great for the views you get. Being able to sit and read / eat while overlooking the mountains… is precious. The inside is cozy and intimate! Be aware of these two things though: 1) The drive up to the cabin gets very steep and narrow! Make sure your car can handle it. If it’s raining, snowing, or dark - be mindful if you’re not used to it! 2) The water quality was not the best. Bring bottled water to cook / boil, or some water filter. This may not be specific to the cabin, maybe it’s common among the mountains! Regardless, the views…wow. It was worth it.

About the host

Hosted by Amy Schnieder

Host profile image
I was a life long California resident before finally retiring from 28 years on the LAPD and now a full time Tennessee resident. I discovered, and fell in love with, the Smokey Mountains immediately as I had explored the United States planning for my retirement from law enforcement. I just had to have a place to call my own to return to and Riser's Ridge is that place. I love the beauty of nature and appreciate the sense of peace and rejuvenation it offers from the every day grind of life.

Why they chose this property

Riser's Ridge was not purchased as a money making venture; it was sought out with great care and brought to life with a sense of pride and respect for what the Smoky Mountains has to offer and as a reward for a life of hard work. This cabin is my home away from home. I am asking for only renters that can appreciate a wonderful experience and respect that I am opening the doors to my own personal refuge because I believe it is too amazing not to share with other like minded people.

What makes this property unique

Riser's Ridge undoubtedly offers you a front row, deck side view of one of the most breathtaking panoramic views you can find in the Smoky Mountains; putting on display the best that nature has to offer during each season. In addition, I have taken great care to present my cabin with a high level of care and comfort with a rustic yet modern décor at a high level of quality.

Riser's Ridge is also just a few doors down from our most recently purchased cabin, Days Go By. The close proximity of these cabins gives my guests a perfect opportunity to travel with other friends and family; each of you getting to enjoy your own private retreat, but be a short walking distance from reconnecting.
