This property was everything and more will definitely be back. So relaxing next to the river listening and seeing the river from the front porch was great. HIGHLY recommend this property
So nice cute cabin nice for a couple or small family river was gorgeous and saw alot of wild life bear ,fox, fish, birds and the elk where so neat to see so close
Great hosts. Wonderful, scenic and quiet site that is riverside. This is a cabin, not a hotel room but as such it is a very pleasant place to rest and relax. Would we stay here again? Definitely!
We stayed here for our fall hunt and it was perfect. The Duran's were very helpful even when one of us got a flat they helped air it up to get to town. Definitely coming back.
We had a very nice, peaceful, get away from it all, trip. Fishing was just outside the cabin. I caught fish even though the fishing conditions were tough. Jim and Rhonda were great hosts! We will be back!
We used the cabin as our rally/reset point after traveling from various locations for an elk hunt. We only stayed one day, but all was perfect for us before we moved to our spike camp. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking.
The cabin on the river was super clean and complete for our two night stay..Convenient location for river access and short trip for dinners in Antonito. Our hosts were accommodating and responsive. We especially appreciated how the opened it up and turned on the heaters in advance of our arrival. We shalll return!
AMAZING!!! So relaxing and comfy vibe, this is definitely worth every penny. We will be back with more family to spend more time by the the water. Honestly the outdoor was so amazing. GREAT JOB !!
A nice stay. Our only real concern was the elk hunters on the property hauling their kills right by us with the elk hanging from the tractor. We assumed (hopefully incorrectly) that the dead elk originated from the herd in your front enclosed area. That was very disappointing for all of us.

We apologize for your inconvenience this is an alternative livestock ranch and we had some disabled veterans purchase animals to feed their families
The covered front porch and rocking chairs watching the river flow helped us unwind, even on a chilly morning or during a rain shower. We slept well, made use of the basic kitchen, and appreciated the updated bathroom. The river has good access to fishing, with a rod fee, and the owners are friendly and communicate ahead of time if there is no fishing availability due to guides reserving groups there. The elk farm is a nice addition; they are cute and quiet and odor-free!
Directions and communication with host very easy! I prefer phone conversations but I understand not always easy! Very quick response to any and all messages!! Could use additional hooks for towels in bathroom! Plenty of beds, towels, sitting area outside on porch and near fire pit!! Very relaxing place to stay!! The sound and view of the river makes the River cabin a great place to stay
Great hosts and great accommodations! Jimmy was very welcoming, friendly and even offered us hunting advice from his personal experiences. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks again Timberwolf!
