We had a great family reunion with 6 adults and 4 kids. The house was a perfect size and we all had a blast swimming, fishing, and paddle boarding in the ponds!
Very nice stay here! The grounds around the house were so nice to have for the young grandchildren 3 through 6.

The location and property were wonderful for enjoying sights and learning to fly fish. The house has great space for families to connect. The kitchen had well stocked dishes but the listed amenities like bathroom shampoo , towels, potholders were underwhelming.
We all loved our stay at Wapiti Cabin! Beds were comfy and kitchen adequate for our needs. Our grandsons loved fishing the ponds on the property. Property was close to town and they have some good restaurants in Red Lodge! Communication with owners was great. Best we’d ever had and we really appreciated that.
This cabin was so homey and provided a lot more then expected!! Perfect location too right between mountain and town! Definitely recommend staying here, good memories made!
The house was very well laid out, functional & very comfortable and cozy. Excellent facility for large families with ample amenities, our family of 15 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beautiful property lent itself very well, the kids loved the activities outdoors with fun for all. Lots of things to do, lots of seating and very family friendly. Kris & Katie were very prompt in responding, communicating was excellent. We will definitely book with Kris & Katie for our next family gathering.
Check in and out were very Wary and well communicated. The property is close to Red lodge and Red lodge Mountain. Our family emotes playing games at the big dining room table. We enjoyed fishing in the ponds and quiet morning coffees.
We loved this property and location. Very convenient access to ski hills, hiking, and short drive into town. Host was very accommodating and answered any questions I had. Instructions were clear and everything well labelled around the house. Thanks for a great stay!
This was a perfect place to stay with extended family. All of the kids enjoyed the games in the basement. There was plenty of space upstairs for everyone to sit and eat, play games, and relax. Great cabin vibes! I don’t ever know when it
The wi fi and cell service was not very good. The location was perfect for our ski/snowboard trip. There was plenty of space for the nine of us to stay comfortably and games to keep us occupied.
This property is breathtaking! Beautiful cabin, beautiful scenery. It's so peaceful you don't even know you're 8 mins from town. We didn't even want to hangout in town we wanted to just have cocktails on the beautiful porches!
Our family plans a ski trip annually to celebrate Christmas together. The idea is to check out different locations, but we love it here so much that this will probably be our annual plan. This was our second year. The house is clean, the kids love the games and the ponds outside. There’s plenty of space to gather and eat or play cards. The location is fantastic, hidden between town and the ski hill.
It is a very nice property. We were a party of 14 and we had the right amount of beds. There were just a few things that could be approved on...please have soap available in all the bathrooms for bathing and the mattresses on the bunk beds are a little tired and could stand to be replaced.
Other than that it was a wonderful week end.
Thank you!

Moth Manor…
The owners were great at communicating via email. This property is very outdated but looked clean and the property itself is beautiful. There was no air conditioning and Sleeping was very uncomfortable due to the heat! There were also THOUSANDS of moths all over the inside of the home. We all had to buy fly swatters to keep them at bay…they would literally dive bomb us while laying in bed (yuck!). It was extreme, I understand some bugs being close to the water but this was gross! Would not rent this property in the future. The home did appear clean but the lack of ac in the summer and the bugs for the price we paid was ridiculous.

Unfortunately this year, the wet warm spring has produced bumper crops of miller moths, a harmless, flying nuisance that has invaded homes and buildings and cabins around Montana. This is a very uncommon year. Our cabin does not have AC but almost every evening the valley cools down with a breeze coming off the mountains. Luckily we are at the tail end of the Moth Invasion and they will be migrating West soon.
Overall it was a wonderful stay. Easy to find, directions were great! We were surprised at how much room there was for 9 adults and 5 teens. We could all spread out. The place was very clean. It was supplied with everything we would need. The kitchen has new, beautiful appliances. Plenty of chairs and tables outside to be comfortable on the deck as well as on the south patio area. We loved the ponds and all the fish we tried to catch. Caught a few rainbow trout. It was so beautiful there. We had planned to drive up on the pass and do a little shopping in Red Lodge but we couldn’t pull ourselves away. We shopped after we checked out. We had an inflatable canoe and we had fun fishing off of that. The water was so clear and a bit cold. Only a few ventured into the refreshing water. We miss being there now. WIFI was doable but pretty slow but we weren’t there for the WIFI. It was nice to see our teens off their electronics and outside. Smile. This location is a gem. Only 3 miles from town but you feel all alone in the timber. We could some other cabins through the trees but you would never know they were there. All of us LOVED it there. So beautiful and serene. We saw deer and squirrels and no bears, thankfully. We have only one sad thing to report. The pullout beds are worn out. May have been ok for kids but the kids were in the bunks. Our adult kids said “they should never be used again”. The master king was really firm and the other queens were comfortable. Great place!!
We had a family gathering at this beautiful location. It was beyond perfect. Lots of outdoor space for eating and socializing. Incredible natural beauty. The game room was lots of fun for people of all ages. I’d love to return!
