Great house in a quiet location

Pierre’s house was very clean and well equipped with even 3 bathrooms and a pretty decent kitchen. We loved the large terrace, ping pong table and barbecue area. Our dog enjoyed time relaxing near the pool and long walks in the area (Claviers, Figanières, L’Endre, plage de Pampelonne). We enjoyed the small village of Callas, wine tastings and exploring the Provence by car.

Beautiful view and very relaxing

Modern facilities in a small and quiet village. Beautiful views and nice to walk to the village center for bread, basics and couple of restaurants. Also nice that it’s driving distance to the beach if you want (45min to sainte Maxime). For bigger groceries would recommend the hypermarché carrefour trans en Provence (25min), although Pierre might recommend something else, we never asked really. Keep in mind Pierre only speaks French. Very friendly hosts and if anything is wrong quick to fix or help. They live in the house just below this one, so you can just walk over. The check in was a bit unclear to us. We didn’t call up front what time we expected to arrive, which is what I’d recommend to do a couple of hours in advance. Saw some comments about the bridge and road being small to this house. Which is true, but manageable. We just had to go back and forth to make the turn onto the bridge, since it’s small and the turn is very sharp. But no damage or anything. Overall would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxed vacation with nice views. Think good value for money.

Nice, but with compromises

The house is exceptionally well equipped & clean. The air-conditioning & electric remote window shutters are fantastic at cooling the house The pool area very nice & has high quality outside furniture As in other reviews,the property is on a hillside & accessed via a narrow ascending/ descending winding lane. I'd estimate its about 2m wide with a stone wall on one side and a drop off the edge on the other. So ensure you're confident about the size of your vehicle The property is dog friendly (so is the host), just be aware there's a low voltage electric fence around the perimeter, that your own pet will have to avoid Occasionally the hosts dog wanders around the garden so, be aware of both of these things if you take your own pet The house is situated in the grounds of the hosts house, about 25m away. We chose this property because of the reviews of peaceful tranquility & only sounds of cicadas, the breeze & birds. Unfortunately, the hosts had their family visiting the same week as our vacation. The noise from their children screaming & squealing in the pool intrusively spoilt our trying to read and relax. The proximity of the property to the hosts house inevitably means that their visitors are your visitors. If the tranquility is something that you want to be sure of, it would be worth contacting the host to avoid the dates that they have family staying with them. During the times they were out/away, we really could appreciate the peacefulness of other reviews.

Schönes, modern ausgestattetes und ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus mit großem Garten. Wir wurden von Pierre und seinem Hund Asco freundlich begrüßt und in das Haus eingewiesen (Bedienung der Klimaanlagen, der Außenjalousien und so weiter). Trotz unserer nicht vorhandenen Französisch Kenntnisse funktionierte die Kommunikation mit Pierre relativ unproblematisch. Wir waren zu zweit mit Hund unterwegs und unsere Hündin hat sich sehr gut mit Asco verstanden, der uns hin und wieder besuchen kam, worüber wir uns auch sehr gefreut haben. Großer sauberer Pool, der zum schwimmen und verweilen einlädt. In Callas gibt es mehrere Restaurants, einen kleinen Supermarkt und einen Bäcker die in 5 Minuten Fußweg zu erreichen sind und wo man seine Grundbedürfnisse decken kann. Für uns war es ein sehr schöner und erholsamer Aufenthalt in einem ruhig gelegenen Ferienhaus. Vielen Dank noch mal an, Pierre!

Villa exceptionnelle

Nous avons passé 3 excellentes semaines de vacances dans le charmant village de Callas.La maison et ses extérieurs sont très très beaux et fidèles aux photos de l'annonce. L'équipement est parfait et les couchages sont de très grande qualité. Une mention toute particulière pour la propreté de l'intérieur de la villa comme des extérieurs. Un grand merci aux charmants propriétaires, Pierre et Sandrine, pour leur accueil et leur bienveillance.En résumé, tout est parfait pour passer de magnifiques vacances.

Bof et vraiment Pas Top

Premièrement : pas d'indication de franchissement d'un pont et d'un chemin a flanc de falaise très serrer sur une voie les 160 derniers mètres ( après le pont ) pour stationner l'accès n'est pas indiquer qu'il soit aussi pentu et mauvais revêtement Grande maison avec un escalier pentu n'ayant pas de rampe ( mains courantes inexistantes ) Grandes chambres mais juste une cloison sépare les salles de bain Clim ok mais mode d'emploi en anglais ? Grand espace extérieur, mais pas clôturer, juste un câble électrique pour empêcher les sangliers de l'envahir, donc pour nos petits amis a 4 pattes c'est pas Top Piscine chauffée ? a revoir les jours pas ensoleillés elle était plutôt froide, impossible vérifier pas de thermomètre Mais bon le clou du spectacle, a l'arrivée BBQ a gaz, la bouteille était vide et pas de bouteille de rechange ! Aberrant quand même ! ( c'est pas l'histoire de l'acheter ) mais 40 mn en voiture A/R pour en trouver une le dimanche Qui plus est, Petit village très peu attrayant avec tout ça difficile de trouver une réelle satisfaction !

Parfois je me demande s’il faut ou non répondre à pareille appréciations négatives. Nous mettons en location, et ce depuis 2012, cette maison de vacances sur plusieurs sites et nous n’avions jamais eu pareil commentaire aussi méchant et infondé. Faut-il prendre cette personne au sérieux ? Peut-il n’y avoir que des points négatifs dans notre location ? Peut-être que ce locataire s’attendait à être reçu dans un hôtel 4 ou 5 étoiles, en bord de mer avec ascenseur et voiturier, dans ce cas, je peux comprendre son mécontentement, mais ce n’est pas le cas et je ne peux que m’apitoyer sur cette personne ainsi que sur sa capacité à apprécier notre maison de location. Fort heureusement la grande majorité de nos anciens locataires sont satisfait de la location, de l’environnement, du cadre paysager, de la tranquillité et des commerçants de notre petit village de callas.

Wundervoller Urlaub an einem wunderbaren Ort

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen! Wir haben den Pool und den Grill ausgiebig genutzt. Der Vermieter ist jederzeit ansprechbar und hilft sofort. Die Umgebung ist abwechslungsreich, ob wandern, klettern oder Strandbesuche, für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei.Das Dorf ist sehr hübsch und verfügt über einige Restaurants, einen Supermarkt und einen guten Bäcker. Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub!

Alles wie beschrieben. Achtung, die Straße zum Haus ist äußerst schmal. Haben uns leider die Felge zerkratz (Mercedes GLE). Vermieter ist immer sehr nett und bemüht.

Wunderschöne Urlaubswoche in Callas

Meine Familie und ich hatten eine wunderschöne Urlaubswoche im Ferienhaus von Pierre. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und modern eingerichtet und hat uns sehr gefallen. Bei den heißen Temperaturen war das voll klimatisierte Haus und der schöne Pool, den wir täglich nutzten, perfekt. Das Haus ist sehr schön an einem leichten Hang gelegen, sodass man einen herrlichen Ausblick, z.B. beim Essen auf der großen Terrasse, genießen kann. Zum Ortskern von Callas sind es nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß. Hier findet man mehrere gute Restaurants, einen kleinen Einkaufsladen, einen Bäcker und ein paar kleine Lädchen. Die Lage von Callas fanden wir sehr gut um die Provence und die Cote d' Azur zu erkunden, um dann zum Abend wieder in unser ruhiges Ferienhaus zu kommen. Pierre ist ein sehr netter Vermieter bei dem man sich willkommen fühlt. Kurzum; wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Zeit genossen und würden jederzeit wieder das Ferienhaus von Pierre wählen. PS: Noch ein Hinweis; Die letzten gut 100m bis zum Haus - über eine Brücke mit winkliger Zufahrt und eine schmale Straße (ca. 2.5m breit) - sind etwas eng aber machbar. Wir hatten einen MG EHS (ungefähr so groß wie ein VW Tiguan) und sind ohne Blessuren am Auto durchgekommen. Wesentlich größer sollte das Fahrzeug aber vielleicht nicht sein.

Mooi huis aan de rand van Callas

Absolute pluspunten van het huis zijn de complete inrichting, de airconditioning , het uitzicht, het zwembad en de prima gas barbecue. Callas heeft genoeg te bieden voor een vakantie, een bakker een kleine supermarkt en een aantal restaurantjes. Dit alles op loopafstand. De enige uitdaging van het huis is de laatste 100 meter per auto, eerst over een smalle brug, dan een smalle weg. Maar misschien is onze auto wel gewoon te groot en breed. En na een beetje oefenen ging het steeds beter.

Mooi huis in een mooie streek met veel mogelijkheden!

Simpel: héél aangenaam verblijf, mooi huis met alle voorzieningen aanwezig! Goed gelegen voor leuke uitstappen in de buurt. Rustig, dicht bij centrum voor alledaagse benodigdheden. In het dorp zijn enkele werken uitgevoerd waardoor de netheid duidelijk verbeterd is. Aangename huiseigenaar! Een aanrader!

Ferien in Callas

Sehr schönes Haus mit allem Komfort ( insbesondere Klima Nachts, was bei der Hitze im Juli/August sehr angenehm ist) . Die Lage ist sehr ruhig mit schönen Blick. Das große Grundstück ist mit einem Elektrozaun abgesichert, was anfänglich für unseren Hund etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig war ! Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist für breitere Fahrzeuge schon eng , nach etwas Übung zu meistern. Im Dorf einige Gehminuten entfernt, befindet sich eine Bäckerei und ein kleiner Supermarkt, wo alles erhältlich ist. Insgesamt ein Urlaub zum entspannen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen.

Sensationeller Platz für Ruhe und Entspannung

Die Begrüßung war sehr freundlich und wir fühlten uns sofort willkommen. Das Haus ist mit allem, was dazugehört, einzigartig! Sehr sauber, modern, luxuriös eingerichtet - auch in der Küche fehlte es an nichts (wo sonst immer irgendetwas fehlt, war wirklich alles da!). Der Pool ist ebenso klasse! Wir hatten wunderbare und ruhige zwei Wochen und können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!!!
