Welcome to your cozy Sunriver retreat! This warm and inviting home is perfect for families or groups looking to unwind and reconnect. The main level features a spacious living room with a classic wood-burning fireplace—ideal for curling up after a day of exploring. The fully stocked kitchen and adjacent dining room offer everything you need for shared meals and memorable conversations. A king bedroom with cable TV is conveniently located on the main level for added comfort and accessibility.

Upstairs, you'll find a queen bedroom and a fun-filled bunk room featuring two pyramid bunk beds—plenty of space for kids or the young at heart. Whether you’re making pancakes in the morning or heading out for a day of adventure, this home is built for ease and relaxation.

Step outside onto the large private deck, where a bubbling hot tub awaits under the stars. Fire up the gas BBQ and enjoy evening dinners surrounded by towering pines. Bikes are provided for exploring Sunriver’s extensive trail system, and yes, your dog is welcome too!

From floating the Deschutes to family fun at SHARC and winter snow play at Mt. Bachelor, Sunriver is a year-round playground. Come make yourselves at home and experience all the magic of Central Oregon.

This home, along with most Sunriver homes, is not air-conditioned. With our cool mountain evenings and ice-cold rivers and lakes to keep you cool, this is a great house for a slow-paced, ice cream and iced beer kinda summer.

AGE RESTRICTIONS: Guests must be 23 years or older to rent Bennington homes and the person reserving must occupy the home the whole reservation.

Great spot!

We had a wonderful time Here! Rooms were clean, everything was well stocked, location of the home is nice and quiet. Kids loved the ping pong table & bikes were a nice addition. This was a Perfect weekend getaway for our family to reconnect. We will definitely be coming back!

Great vacation spot

I love this house; we've stayed there two years in a row and been happy with everything. All the appliances are current and in good working order, the location is great, and my kids and I love the ping pong table for days when the weather doesn't encourage going outside. The back porch is a great spot to lounge in the sun with a book and a snack. I wouldn't be surprised if we're back again next year!

Construction Zone Hell

They are doing major construction next door! 7am wake up of pounding, sawing and hammering. Would have been nice to know prior to our stay or have been given the option to find another property to rent. VERY over priced for what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation! We need a vacation to recover from our vacation! Highly recommend before renting this property to wait until construction is completed!

I actually already submitted a review. While the property was clean, it had ants. I called when we got there but you were closed and it wasn’t an emergency. I did send an email that evening but heard nothing in return. Also the hot tub is very old and doesn’t stay hot. But the location and neighborhood was nice.

Nice house in a quiet part of Sunriver

This house is accurately described in the on line listing. It was just two of us so we had lots of space. In fact we only went upstairs to take a look at what was up there. We spent all our time on the main level. Pros: Very quiet area, nice decor, comfortable bed, large kitchen, 4 cruiser bikes, garage with ping pong table, comfy living room furniture, large windows, very clean. Cons: the TV is located on a wall all the way up by the ceiling, it's not very large and was difficult for us to watch, the TV doesn't have the capability of watching any streaming services. If we had known we would have brought our Roku stick. There is cable TV but limited channels. We generally don't watch a lot of TV but after a long day hiking or biking it's nice to be able to watch a movie. There is a DVD player, but no DVD's. There is a lovely outdoor deck and the weather was great during our stay but the only outdoor chairs are small and plastic and not very comfortable. Overall we liked this house despite the cons.

Great location near the river! The house was ideal for single family and would accommodate 8 comfortably. We enjoyed the bikes were provided in the posting so we left ours at home. The home smelled like a campfire when you first arrived so makes you feel like you’re in a vacation cabin right away.

Location location location

I love Sunriver.....especially away from the Village. This location was perfect for me. The typical Sunriver house was immaculate and I loved the little touches for my dog! Even a “I got lost in Sunriver tag” for her collar just in case. Everything was simple to use, great directions, wonderful private hot tub, great kitchen supplies, pool table and bikes provided easy entertainment. Plenty of towels, blankets, and pillow variety :-) Deer on our deck in the evening! Great for a family of 4-8, two couples or, just the two of us.

We had fires every day (extremely dry wood) and lounged and read on the ample couches, cooked meals together, and explored the area. We took hikes, snowshoed and visited family in another home. The snowy scenery from the windows was extraordinary!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a very comfortable house with bunk beds for families and a great kitchen with all of the amenities needed. Fireplace for when the power goes out, which has happened before. A great hot tub to si in while it snows and a BBQ to cook a hot meal to warm up. The house is right on the Sunriver trail system and the USFS land across the street for exploring. My second rental of the house and I will be back. Come and enjoy!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second year we have stayed in this home. We love the location most of all, at the north end of Sunriver. It is quiet and at the edge of the national forest for trail walks and biking. Some may find it too far from the village, but that is exactly why we love it. Everything we want is within walking or biking distance. And of course Bennington takes great care of guests. Everything was ready when we arrived, including having the heat on since these fall nights are chilly.

Summer Vacation

Escape on the Quiet Side

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group had a great time at Big Sky 8. The house is located in the NW corner of Sunriver and it is on the quiet side. It is close to the USFS trails to the Deschutes River. No snow for snowshoeing unfortunately. The house layout is comfortable for our group to gather to make meals, watch movies, play board games and just enjoy the view. There are no houses behind the property, just the bike path. Even though we were in the upper corner of Sunriver, it is a short bike ride into the village or the SHARC. The orange bikes are a hoot and it reminded us all of our childhood with the single speed bikes. Enjoy!
