The perfect holiday - 6 Grande Ru!

What a fabulous property in a beautiful location. The perfect getaway with every aspect catered for. The property has s superb and has everything you need. Lionel is the perfect host and helpful. We loved it and will be back again next year. A hidden gem in the south of France.

Multi-generation holiday

We had a sublime 2 week stay in Lio's beautiful house with pre-teens and our grandma (3 generations), with our own air conditioned rooms. The pool and BBQ are brilliant, and the plunge pool is larger than expected with room for a float ;) Pool towels are provided. The village itself is incredibly beautiful albeit a bit remote. You definitely need a car to explore - Goudarges market on a Wednesday morning is brilliant. There is canoeing there as well. Nimes city is an hour by car, well worth the drive, and stop off to see the Pont du Gard on the way back. The restaurant next door and around are great, most have kids menus too. The cascades are a short walk away and kids loved jumping from the rocks into the deep water - but not easy paths if you have mobility problems. The Villa is superb with everything catered for. You will need to maintain the pool and water the plants, but I found this an enjoyable morning routine with a coffee cup at the table. There is even a hammock for relaxing in! Lio is very responsive on the phone and dropped by several times if required. Parking permit supplied by Lio so you can drive into the village itself. We loved our stay! Parki(residents etakibewarc

Parfait en tous points de vue

Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances chez Lionel, la maison est très sympa, bien équipée, la piscine très agréable avec son jardin zen, et le coin est magnifique. Nous rentrons souriants, reposés, bronzés et ravis de notre séjour !

Un cadre fabuleux

Excellent moment de détente entre la maison, la piscine et le village pittoresque. La maison est tres bien rénovée et parfaitement équipée (Clim, BBQ, cave à vin,…). Beaux parcours de footing également. Nous recommandons les glaces faites maisons à côté.

Toller Urlaub in einem traumhaften Haus

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Haus sehr genossen. Die Lage und das Haus selbst sind wirklich etwas Besonderes. Es ist alles wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Lionel ist ein super Gastgeber. Er hat uns herzlich empfangen und hat sich sofort um alles gekümmert. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen und würden uns freuen, nächstes Jahr wieder eine Woche dort verbringen zu können. Lionel, vielen Dank für alles!

Urlaub inmitten einer historischen Stadt

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in diesem Haus sehr genossen. Erwähnenswert ist die schöne, große Küche und der mit Mauern eingefasste Innenhof, in dem man sich unbeobachtet fühlt. Die Klimaanlage ist im Sommer sehr hilfreich. Es gibt einen Stellplatz für ein Auto direkt vor dem Haus auf einer schmalen, öffentlichen Straße. Tagestouristen stellen diesen Parkplatz jedoch regelmäßig zu, so dass man nicht immer darauf zählen kann, dass man sein Auto in der Nähe des Hauses abstellen kann. Es fehlt ein Bäcker und ein Lebensmittelladen im Umfeld des Hauses. Man bekommt allerdings Baguette und Wein in dem Geschäft gegenüber.

C'était cool

Location très bien située dans un petit village calme très joli. Beaucoup d'activités à proximité (canoë / accrobranche/randonnée/cascade, Bambouserai, etc...), des petits restaurants sympa et très bon sont aussi présent à proximité (pizzeria de la Cascade). Il y a globalement de quoi ne pas s'ennuyer sur une semaine. Par contre il faut prévoir les produits de premières nécessité (sac poubelles, savon, produit pour lave vaisselle, éponge, etc...),comme le premier "grand" magasin est à 20 min de voiture il faut prévoir large. Globalement très satisfait de la location et pourquoi pas y retourner un jour pour continuer de visiter le Gard et l'Ardèche.

La maison est idéalement située au coeur du village de La Roque sur Cèze. Un des plus beau village de France. La maison est très bien décorée et bien équipée. Le jardin et sa piscine sont juste idyllique. Le voisin n'est autre que le restaurant "Cèze grand rue". On y mange très bien et l'accueil est très sympathique. La place du village est à 40m. Idéal pour les amateurs de pétanque.Je conseille également Le Domaine de Bel Air tout proche pour les amateurs de vin. Je terminerai par une mention particulière pour notre hôte Lionel qui est accueillant, enthousiaste et dynamique.

Un logement très agréable et propre. Nous y avons passé de bonnes vacances. L'emplacement est très bon et calme. Il y a un bon restaurant juste à côté, il faut réserver à l'avance. L'accès au village n'a pas été facile au début, car selon les panneaux, seuls les propriétaires peuvent emprunter la route. Finalement, nous sommes bien arrivés. Le propriétaire est très gentil et serviable, merci encore pour tout Lionel. Nous reviendrons l'année prochaine.

Bien d'exception dans un village extraordinaire, au caractère et au charme sans pareils. Malgré que la maison soit située en plein cœur du village, la cour avec piscine offre l'intimité recherchée. Situation idéale pour pouvoir aisément visiter les sites remarquables de la région (cascade du Sautadet, gorges de l'Ardèche, grotte de la Salamandre, Goudargues, Montclus, Aiguèze, etc.). Lionel nous a accueilli avec bienveillance. Nous le remercions encore pour les échanges pleins de sincérité que nous avons pu avoir avec lui.

Great house in beautiful location

Lionel’s house suited us perfectly. Great, spacious living and kitchen area, with three doors to the outside, air conditioning in all rooms (which we did use in the evenings once the mosquitos came out and we had to shut windows), private secure courtyard with lovely plunge pool. We did find it a little under-provisioned - just three breakfast bowls, only four mugs etc. - but otherwise well-equipped with hob, fridge, freezer, drinks fridge, gas barbecue. Lionel greeted us on arrival to show us around and explain how to look after the pool. We got the hang of it but only request would be to perhaps have a house manual with all the instructions, Wi-Fi code (we struggled to interpret the handwritten code), location of village bins etc. La Roque sue Ceze really IS a beautiful village. We explored all the cobbled streets and the paths in the countryside around the village, including the cascades. It is super quiet and you have to drive out of the village for pretty much everything, apart from wine which we bought from the little wine shop next door. And we walked to the pizzeria down by the cascades a couple of evenings. We didn’t eat in the restaurant next door so can’t comment on that.

Charmante maison de village

Super séjour dans le Gard dans la vallée de la Cèze. La maison est très belle et bien agencée. La cour intérieure avec la piscine est très agréable et il n'y a aucune gêne malgré le village touristique. Très belle région avec beaucoup de choses à faire, visite des villages alentours, ballades et baignades. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Un grand merci au propriétaire, Lionel pour sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse.

Nous avons avons passé une semaine dans la grange, tout était parfait: l'accueil de Lionel, le cadre, la tranquillité de la maison et du village, toutes les activités autour ! On recommande vraiment la maison et la région et ne manquerons pas d'y revenir !

Amazing place!

Pictures don’t do justice to this amazing place and we felt like home straight away. Lionel was there to welcome us and explain everything regarding the property and was very helpful during our stay. The whole house is very comfortable and the living area with the open plan kitchen is a generous size. Air conditioning throughout helped during the heatwave mid June not to mention the swimming pool which was bigger than expected or seen on the photos and the whole place is very secure and peaceful. BBQ is a plus :) And unlimited ice from the American style fridge/ freezer is a bonus too. Just a tip for other guests is to bring salt, oil, washing liquid and a sponge when arriving if they are used to it normally in a rental. There are dishwasher tablets provided but if you like to wash couple of dishes by hand then you will miss them. Towels, bed linen, toilet paper, kitchen towels are provided. Parking was just in front of the gates but there were also more spaces available nearby and Lionel provided parking permit for us to use. All in all this is a place to recommend and enjoy! Excellent séjour en famille

Superbe maison en pierre typique idéalement située en plein coeur de village. La villa est parfaitement aménagée et le jardin très agréable, où nous avons beaucoup profité de la piscine, des transats et du barbecue à l'ombre du bel olivier. De belles balades à pieds ou à vélo aux alentours, et beaucoup à voir et à visiter dans la région. Lionel nous a accueillis avec le sourire et est resté disponible tout au long de notre séjour.
