Trimarchi House is a cozy and bright apartment, located in the heart of Naples, where you can admire the beauty of the Neapolitan cribs, or Via dei Tribunali, where you can enjoy the best pizzas. It is also well connected to the University underground station.
A double bed with a double bed and an armchair that becomes a single bed. In fact, six people sleep comfortably in this structure.
Obviously there is a kitchen equipped with everything needed for cooking and preparation. Also a bathroom with a shower.
Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating and free.
Near the house there are many restaurants, pizzerias, shops, bars, pastry shops, ice cream parlors and all the sights of Naples.

Lovely apartment in a city neighborhood.

This apartment was perfect for our 3 day stay. If you are looking to be in the heart of Napoli and experience the hustle and bustle of everyday life this is the place to be. If you are not accustomed to city life and sleep in silence then ear plugs are a must.

Convenient location

Clean and comfortable with a helpful host. Thank you Salvatore. We walked many miles from the house around the city and ate lots of good food. Easy walk to the train station.

Salvatore was wonderful with the check in/check out process. The property is actually 1 bedroom. A sleeper sofa for 2 is also located in the living room area. There is a steep narrow stairwell to reach the property that would be considered 3rd floor in other countries, however, in Italy it is considered 2nd floor. Salvatore helped us go up and down the stairs with our 21 kg bags. The best part about this location is just that…LOCATION! We walked everywhere. A grocery and laundry-mat was located about 0.2 miles from the apartment. The port where we caught the ferry to Capri/Sorrento was about 1 mile walk. The Naples museum was approximately 0.8 miles away. And the Royal Palace was about 1 mile away. Plenty of shopping and places to eat within just a few meters of the apartment as well. At night, everything went silent. I did find the bed in the bedroom very hard, as if I was sleeping on springs without any cushion. However, I slept very well and comfortably because we were tired from our adventures. The AC’s worked well. We opened the windows most of the time because the weather was fall like at night. I would stay there again! We enjoyed our Napoli stay. October 2025

Great location in Naples

Highly recommend. Location was central for walking to what we wanted to see. The apartment was very clean and had all the basics we needed. Our host was gracious and helpful - spent time to give recommendations on what to see, where to eat. He responded quickly anytime we had a question and even arranged a taxi for us to the station. This was a great place and great host. Highly recommend.

Preview to Life in Naples

We had a planned tour and this place was just a one day stay before the tour started. If you are looking into a day in the life of resident of Naples; this place will give you the experience. Within walking distance is the nice place with Pizza for dinner: a local bakery for breakfast; preview of Naples city nigh life and really kind people. The Host did go out of the way to help us plan our day there.

The apartment is advertised as 2 bedrooms, it is not. There is a long narrow staircase to the 3rd floor which was difficult for an older couple. The area was not the best, but there’s a great pizza place nearby. The host was very attentive and kind.

The price was fair for the location,however, the photo was not taken on this property. I was under the impression that it was much closer to the ocean. Salvatore was great to wait for us when our train arrived late, and then to give us a good overview of how to get around our area,sights to see while in Napoli. He is a good host

Nice accommodation

Salvatore was easy to communicate with, helped us navigate through some parking lot issues. Check in was easy and he gave us recommendations of places to see, etc. For checkout, we left the keys on the table. Not easy to drive in this area, would not recommend driving. The stairs could be an issue for someone with mobility issues. Place was clean, had everything we needed, appreciated the laundry machine. If you turn left out of the property, a whole stretch of markets and restaurants were at your fingertips. Had a real feel of Italian culture and generally felt safe. It’s a 30 minute drive to Pompeii and we walked 11 minutes to meet the tour bus that took us to Sorrento, Positano and the Amalfi Coast. Thank you Salvatore!

Easy stroll to essential sites, Metro stops, and good eats.

The flat is located on the 2nd floor of a typical historical city centre low rise; stairs only; no lift. The listing's description is accurate, and in general, so are the photos. The wall between the kitchen & the living/dining room is no longer there, making for an even more airy space. The host, Salvatore, is great; from questions before booking, to WhatsApp messaging afterwards. He met us at check-in, and gave us lots of info about the area and Naples (and helped me with my suitcase up the stairs). He was also very responsive with follow-up questions. He is a gentleman and a 5-star host. The flat is in the Decumani area, and allowed us to easily walk to all 15+ sites during our 17 nights stay, including one of 3 Metro stops that took us to one of the 3 Naples train stations to get to sites further afield. There are numerous choices for restaurants, take-out eats, pastries, coffee/tea/drinks, & gelato in walking distance, or a one/two Metro stop away. The rooms were comfortable for our January stay. There is a small balcony & two other windows that allow for outside air. We used the two heater/air-con units (living room & bedroom) on the few cooler nights. The small capacity laundry machine was also appreciated. We were very happy with the flat and its host. I would definitely recommend this rental for your Naples stay, but would note that the stairs have tall rises (compared to North American standards), which may not be suitable for those with mobility concerns.

Host was OK but apartment was not as advertised. had to haggle for enough pillow cases. Shower backed up on day one and leaked on day 2. Owner said dont use until I fix which was end of day but not what we paid for. Access was a long, steep and narrow set of steps and felt like we were taking out lives in our hands when going up and down. Have to reset hot water heater to shower. Didnt feel clean. We were so unhappy, we left a couple days early. A complete opposite experience than we had with our wonderful host in Florence. STAY AWAY

We know Naples well, having visited at least six times in the last decade, and we love to stay in “centro storico.” This lovely apartment is perfectly situated, just off “Spaccanapoli” at its intersection with Via San Gegorio Armeno. Walkable to so much that this marvelous city has to offer, it’s also close to all our favorite restaurants. The apartment itself is very comfortable with all the conveniences including a full kitchen (although we generally ate only breakfasts in) and very comfortable bed. The AC and WiFi worked flawlessly! Salvatore was a perfect host, even displaying his plumbing skills when a small problem with our shower arose. I contacted him and within an hour - on a weekend- he was there to fix the issue. He is a great source of information of all kinds about the area - nearest grocery and ATM, restaurant suggestions, directions (for those needing them) to the rich array of sights and attractions just minutes away. When we return to Naples, we hope to be able to book this apartment again! Grazie mille, Salvatore!

Host was terrific and very helpful. We were here for a very short stay, but location was great for walking tours, shopping and restaurants. We all loved the pizza at Sorbillas. Our challenge: it’s a 2nd floor apartment with very narrow and steep staircase and we had a ton of luggage since this was the end of a lengthy visit to Italy. It is just a one bedroom apartment with a double and a single in the same room. Money well spent as very functional.

The host was super helpful and friendly. It’s on the top floor with narrow and steep stairs. For older people with luggage, this place would not be ideal for them. The host helped with carrying our luggage, too. We finally figured out how to run the washing machine - use the mini cycle 30 mins, otherwise, it would take 3 hours to wash, rinse and spin. A lot of restaurant options there. The host even recommended to us a very local Napoli stay pizza place. Very good experience. AC’s worked well. Host was super helpful checking us out and helping us where to pull the car to the closest spot for loading our luggages.

Unerwartet...

Die Lage ist in einer Seitengasse einer der am stärksten frequentierten Gassen der Altstadt. Es ist fussläufig alles gut zu erreichen bet sehr laut.Die Wohnung liegt im 2. Stock eines Hauses, das in einer schmalen Gasse steht, die von hohen Gebäuden umgeben ist. Eine schmale, sehr steile Treppe führt nach oben und mit viel Kraft lässt sich der Koffer da hinauf wuchten. Oben angekommen, ein kleiner Vorraum der in den Wohnraum führt. Dort stehen, ein Sofa ein Sessel, beide ausklappbar, ein Tisch, 6 Klappstühle, ein schlichter Schrank und eine Kommode. Gefliesster Boden, es wirkt kalt. Die Küche ist mit Allem eingerichtet was benötigt wird, Basics wie Salz und Pfeffer oder ein paar Kleinigkeiten, die oftmsls in solchen Wohnungen vorhanden sind, fehlen.Das Bad hat seine besten Zeiten lange hinter sich. Der Zustand ist als gereinigt aber unappetitlich zu bezeichnen. Kalk, schwarzer Schimmel in den Fugen, die Dusche in allen Ecken mit dicken Kalk-Ablagerungen. Hier ist dringend mal eine Grundreinigung notwendig.Die Wohnung ist lieblos eingerichtet und verleitet nicht zum Verweilen. Ich weiss nicht woher die guten Bewertungen kommen.Btw.....Eine Terasse gibt es nicht, es ist eine Glas-Doppeltür mit Geländer, die den Blick auf eine riesige gelbe Mauer in 4 m Entfernung öffnet.Sorry, alles nur mein ganz persönlicher Eindruck.

Very nice Location has most everything you need close by. The neighborhood is very busy and noisy during the day but gets very quiet at night and slept very well while we were there.
