The owner was extremely rude to me

The check in process went very well, the property is very nice. It’s not that close to the beach (30 mins walk) so ideally only suited to those with a car. The property has all the amenities you need. We were due to go to the splash part on day 4 of our stay, but the evening before we noticed the hot water wasn’t working. The maintenance / cleaning lady was so helpful and arrived straight away. Unfortunately the fault couldn’t be fixed that day and we were told we would need to wait until 6pm the next day with no hot water. I was quite unhappy with this and suggested we find alternative accommodation for that night / day. The owner became very angry and abusive with me , accused of trying to profit from him when I asked for compensation, told me not to leave England if I don’t like it abroad and hung up. I was deeply upset and shaken by his anger towards me. That evening I received a further text from the maintenance lady to say someone could now come out the next morning and that I need to wait in. We therefore cancelled plans to go to the splash park and waited in. We received no apology, or compensation for the fault, having to wait in for the workman. We also had a leak to the en suite toilet during our stay which made it quite unhygienic when using the bathroom. We didn’t report this as I was too scared of the abusive owner. We made the most of our stay, Alvor is a lovely place, but I was very concerned that a man would become so angry and abusive towards a customer and would not recommend dealing with someone with such aggression issues.

This is the first time that I leave a negative comment and after reading, I will maintain it again and always. this for several reasons: 1) Customer occupy the accommodation of an apartment and not of a hotel. 2) I was notified at 9 o'clock in the evening of the failure of the water heater. it was no longer repairable and had to be replaced. Trying to find a technician at this time of night? 3) The water heater was replaced the next day at noon. instead of being satisfied customer is still complaining. 4) the client assaulted me on the phone and wanted to cancel the entire reservation. I offered one night's compensation, which she refused. Let's put things in context please! Really this customer isn’t honest. You try to do your best and she is never satisfied. Avoid!

À FUIR Piscine en travaux depuis avril Le propriétaire nous l’a indiqué 1 semaine avant notre arrivée Il nous a dédommagé de 10% et après lui avoir fait des reproches , il nous a menacé de nous mettre dehors ! Ne louez jamais chez ce monsieur ! La simple étoile est pour la dame qui gère l’appartement qui est adorable. Abritel est au courant du litige en espérant avoir gain de cause de se propriétaire véreux !

Personne malhonnête. A tentée de nous soutirer de l'argent par tous les moyens. Elle a loué l'appartement en toute connaissance de cause et avait déjà reçu une remise importante en compensation de l'indiponibilité de la piscine. A présent, elle laisse une évaluation négative suite à ses frustrations. N'hésitez-pas à consulter les autres avis pour bénéficier d'une évaluation objective

Casa agradável

A casa fica localizada num condomínio num bairro tranquilo a cerca de 5 minutos de carro do centro de Alvor. É muito acolhedora e tem praticamente tudo o que é necessário para uma boa estadia. Ficou mesmo a faltar uma máquina café de cápsulas, para ser mais prática! A piscina é excelente e havia sempre pouca gente. O facto de haver garagem também é excelente, pois nem sempre é fácil estacionar na rua. No geral, gostámos bastante!

Thank God an honest person!

I just want to say this: On the last 5 years I've been on different apartments on vacations mainly throught homeaway but also homeholidays. Unfortunately on 80 % of the cases I had serious problems as floodings on one of the bathrooms, poor equiped apartments, problems with the TV set, problems with the A/C and I could go on and on... This kind of things put's you on a bad angry mood on the very beggining of your holidays. People simply just don't care once they got your money. For a change, this apartament was fully equiped, nothing missing, everything working fine, no floods, no problems with the tv set, wow!!! Yes, wow!!! What a wonderful experience for a change! Thank you, Alex, and promise if I come back to Alvor to go straight to your apartment! Thank you for such wonderful vacations! Joao Parente

El lugar es de lo más bonito y tranquilo del Algarve. El piso de Alex te sorprende nada más llegar. No le falta detalle.Una buena TV con cientos de canales, una decoración de buen gusto, amplias estancias con balcones, garaje particular cerrado, buenos colchones para dormir, piscina, etc.etc. En una zona muy tranquila para descansar y a pocos kilómetro del bonito pueblo de Alvor y Portimao. Repetiremos en cuanto nos sea posible y se lo recomiendo a otras personas.

Casa fantástica e pessoa séria. Realmente a casa é exactamente como nas fotos e muito boa. Espetacular para quem quer passar umas férias em Alvor. Os pontos negativos é a piscina, muito cloro inserido na água e a falta de cadeiras de sol. No entanto foi óptima a minha estadia e recomendo.
